  • Great apartment in amazing location

"We loved our stay in this apartment, situated as it is in a quieter area of Bordeaux but with bars and restaurants no more than a block away. It is well served by trams if you don't want the 15 minute walk into the centre and the views from the balcony over the river are stunning. The owner was great to deal with prior to our arrival and made helpful suggestions once we had settled in. The apartment itself is spacious, comfortably furnished and clean, and the air con a boon given the hot September weather we experienced. The lift is a real feat of engineering and saves weary legs walking up 4 flights of stairs. We hired bikes and rode a circuit over 2 bridges and along both sides of the river, as well as taking the train to St Emilion for the day."

  • Automne indien au pays basque

"Super séjour dans cette très belle villa avec une vue superbe vers l'océan. L'environnement naturel est très beau avec les couleurs d'automne, un endroit vraiment privilégié et tout près du centre de Saint Jean de Luz."

  • A dream vacation

"We have extremely please by our stay at Domaine des Faures. The house is very spacious and well equipped and the surroundings are simply magical. The pool area is much more comfortable and enjoyable than what the pictures where showing. Finally, Ray and Jacintha have been wonderful hosts, offering the perfect balance of support and tranquility."

  • Perfect Pefect Perfect

"We stayed for a week in mid October and had a wonderful experience. We had just finished walking the Camino de Santiago and wanted a peaceful place to stay in the Dordogne area for some R&R. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place. The apartment was comfortable, nicely appointed and interestingly decorated. The kitchen was very huser friendly and after 30 days on the road eating out we took full advantage of preparing home cooked meals. Julie was a wonderful and knowledgeable host, providing excellent suggestions on the best places to visit in the area. She also did a great job of communicating prior to our arrival. St Cyprien was a beautiful little French village with a fabulous market on Sunday. It's located perfectly to make the most of touring the area which is filled with castles, caves and wonderful vistas spread along the beautiful Dordogne River. The town is small, intimate and comfortable, just the right size to make you feel like you're living in a classic French village, unlike the feeling you will get from a larger tourist filled city like Sarlat-la-Canéda. It was such a perfect setting that after 7 days we were not ready to leave and we look forward to a return visit."
