  • A Most AMAZING French Vacation

"I just returned from the most wonderful vacation I have had in the past 5 years. My best friend and I decided to do a girls trip to the SW of France. We chose a Beautiful 300 year old home in Monflanquin. When we arrived, and opened the front door, what a wonderful surprise!! This house is spectacular. Beautifully furnished. A cozy and beautifully equipped kitchen. The Beds and pillows were sooo comfortable. Clean and wonderfully stocked. I felt so at home within minutes of exploring the house. The owners Michael and Vince, were extremely helpful, with all the information they provided. They were so willing to answer any questions we had in preparing for our trip to France, from sites to see, restaurants, tips on money exchange, navigating the towns and villages, weekly farmers markets in the different nearby villages, even recommendations on CD's to learn the language. The village of Monflanquin is so beautiful and friendly. There is so much to see in the Area. After a full day of Sightseeing it was such a joy to come home to our beautiful home away from home at 8 Rue St Marie, in this Beautiful old Badtide Town of Monglanquin, open up a bottle of wine and head upstairs to the Fabulous Roof top Deck... To watch the Falling Stars and listen to the Hooty Night Owls . I look forward to my return Trip next year"

  • A Medieval Jewel

"Sarlat la Caneda is a medieval jewel of a city, and this beautifully renovated apartment is right in its heart, giving the unique experience of living in another time. The narrow wood spiral staircase leads to a lovely living room on the first level above the street and a comfortable bedroom on the second. Be prepared for the steep climb and different levels, but fit travelers will have no problem. Parking is nearby, and the surrounding countryside offers wonderful sightseeing from castles to prehistoric caves. Great local food and wine are here as well in a fine selection of restaurants within walking distance. Sebastian was a warm and welcoming host, and we would happily return."

  • Stepping into a dream

"We stayed at this amazing house during August with our 2 kids and grandparents. We were speechless when we arrived and realized that the place looks even more amazing than what we saw in the photos. Every corner of the house got a special attention in design and comfort. Every door we opened and every room we walked into we gasped in amaze. It was BEAUTIFUL!!!! But that is not all... the reception we got and our evening with the host was unmatched to any other house we have ever rented (and we rent a lot). Everything we needed was taken care of and the response to our needs was immediate. We strongly suggest you read the notes provided by Janice. Every recommendation proved itself from sites to restaurants to wines and markets. You will truly live a dream once you step into this amazing home. THANK YOU JANICE! We will come again!"

  • Wonderful Stay!

"The cottage is completely charming and the owners have thought of every detail to make it comfortable and beautiful - even more so than the very inviting photographs. Vincent was extremely efficient and helpful prior to the trip - providing us with a great deal of useful information and perspective. The kitchen was perfect and we loved eating out on the patio. The location is central to more sites and restaurants than you can possibly take in - we enjoyed several fascinating castles, caves and markets as well as canoeing the river, landing just a block below the house. My favorites were Chateau Marquessac's garden paths lined with candles, Chateau Losse with its Renaissance furnishings and lovely gardens, La Roque's cute shops, and all of the markets - especially St Cyprien and Sarlat. We had a really wonderful stay and we highly recommend it."
