  • Nice escape from winter in Finland

"I spent February and March living in this nice cottage. It did serve me well as base in examining the Pays Basques. As I am challenged in my ability walk around I enjoyed Biarritz mainly by biking. It is charming and interesting city with a lot to see. All services are very close to the cottage and living without a car is also possible. There was also a free bus circulating the city and bus stop near the cottage. The beautiful seaside is close and there are lots of beaches to choose from. The Bayonne is very beautiful old town to visit and lots of interesting targets to go. The cottage was equipped with all necessities – only thing I missed was dishwasher. Alexandre and his team were very helpful and I had no trouble at all. I can recommend this cottage to all."

  • Excellent house in a beautiful setting

"We stayed (4/5 people) at Clos St Julien for two weeks and would stay again---that's the ultimate test. The house is located in a small hamlet about 2 miles from Cenac, so it has a wonderful rural setting, quiet, with very nice walking opportunities to the Dordogne river nearby and across walnut groves. Well-furnished, comfortable, and more like a friend's house than a vacation rental. Gabriele (Owner) is very responsive and professional."

  • Ideal for a group of friends

"Six friends descended on this villa in Monflanquin, a lovely small bastide town for a week of relaxation, laughs, good food and wine in this extremely comfortable house that did not disappoint. It lived up to our expectations completely - it was well appointed and the excellent kitchen and dining area became a hub for us. Great breakfast feasts were had each morning after a visit to one of the local bakeries of which there were at least three within walking distance. Found plenty to do during the day, including wandering around Monflanquin, visiting a number of small nearby towns (eg Cancon, Pujols), and sites like La Roque Gageac on the Dordogne and Domme another lovely bastide town, and Chateau Bonaguil in Fumel. Had fun shopping at local markets- and found lots of good food and wine as we preferred to cook for ourselves and eat in each evening. The owner was particularly helpful answering questions and offering assistance. Wifi access was a bonus we all appreciated. A highly recommended villa where we had a fabulous week."

  • Beautiful Home

"This home is in the middle of a very picturesque village. The home has everything and more that travelers need and expect. Every detail is taken care of. The furnishings and decor are charming. We were shown all around the home so we knew how to work everything. There are also maps and guide books of the area. I throughly enjoyed my visit and would definitely stay again. Janice's hospitality was very much appreciated."
