"Wonderful house. Quaint and cottage-like. We spent a week in early May, 2014. Great location - 5 minute walk to the medieval town center but far enough away to be very quiet. Great location for sightseeing. Do not miss the Saturday market. We really appreciated the fact that Xanthe starts her weekly rentals on Friday so that you can get up early and hit the market. Would recommend this to anyone."

  • Couldn't have been better

"This was our (two couples of AARP vintage) third home stay venture in France and our unanimous favorite, with its painting-like views of the Dordogne River and valley...and nearby patisserie! The stone house and its decor and furnishings are lovely and comfortable, the kitchen charming and furnished with everything we needed to make all our meals. We took full advantage of the beautiful weather for outdoor dining and adventuring to the surrounding villages, castles, and prehistoric sites, and thatJeri and Paul, our wonderful hosts, were always there to answer questions. Sharing a glass of wine, and joining them and a group of friends on a Sunday hike will always be part of our fondest memories."
