"We were two girlfriends traveling to France in September and we wanted to stay in a quaint medieval town for a week. We certainly found it in Beaune!
We had an unforgettable stay at Beaune Rousseau. It is unbelievable how welcoming and accommodating Joce and Yan were. We did not rent a car so they kindly drove us to and from the train station. Yan, bless him, carried our luggage up the winding staircase.
We were thrilled with the apartment. It is very spacious, with large windows providing lots of light, tastefully appointed and above all spotless. It certainly exudes charm with large exposed beams and limestone walls.
The large kitchen was well equipped with anything you could possibly need. We loved the terrace for appetizers at the end of the day and a quiet spot to enjoy coffee in the morning.
Beaune Rousseau is perfectly located near the centre of town - cafes and shops were within easy walking distance. There certainly was no need for a car.
We took a wine tour giving us incredible insight into the wine industry of the area with Joce's friend Francois which we would highly recommend. We also did some wine tasting at a couple of wine cellars in Beaune. We spent an unforgettable day at a cooking class hosted by The Cooks Atelier (just a few doors down from the apartment) which included shopping at the market, food preparation and a wonderful meal at the end accompanied with wine parings.
Thank you Joce and Yan for your warm hospitality. We have many fond memories of our stay in your charming apartment Beaune Rousseau.
Our stay in Beaune was an unforgettable experience.

"My husband, my sister and I spent 5 lovely weeks here. The apartment is comfortable and spacious, fully equipped, centrally located in the village and steps away from all the necessary and desired shopping. We also found the parking to be very convenient, with availability right in front of the building certain times of the day, and a parking lot very close to the apartment.
From La Charite we were able to make many day trips; Paris, Beaune, Guedelon, Chenonceau, Bourges, and many more places including the delightful nearby villages.
The hosts, Kelly and Byron, offer a very warm welcome, and are just the best. They are not only warm and personable, but are also very knowledgeable and very responsive. We travel internationally frequently and can reliably say that Kelly and Byron are two of the best hosts we have encountered. We highly recommend them and their lovely apartment."

We are a family with two children aged 5 and 3, and we all had a wonderful time at Marie’s Maison du Parc in Musigny
Marie and Aurelie are very welcoming (their English is a lot better than my French) and the house we rented is great. There is a good kitchen, large living room and the main bedroom is spacious and comfortable. The area around the house is ideal, with plenty of room to run around or relax in the sun (depending on your age), and we took advantage of the bar-b-q on several evenings. We had some great weather and the pool was a perfect option for a relaxing day or a quick dip after seeing some sights.
Arnay-le-Duc, the local town, has everything you need including a boulangerie, where we went most mornings for delicious croissants and bread, and Supermarkets for everything else. There is also a lovely little beach on the lake with a play area for the young ones.
Within an hour’s drive of Musigny there is so much to do that we ended up going something almost every day.
Particular highlights for the nippers were Parc des Combes (a funfair in Le Creusot), Lac des Settons (where there is a beach and a Bouncy Castle play park), the steam train ride in Blingy sur Ouche, and the Dinosaur Parc (called Cardoland) in Chamoux.
In addition us adults also enjoyed the various Chateau (especially Rochepot, Cormatin, and Sully), the Roman Ruins in Autun and the city of Dijon
So all in all a wonderful holiday
Merci bien, thank you
Kevin et Family"
