"Natalie and Laurent were the perfect hosts. Their children were charming and the rooms were quite comfortable and clean. Breakfast in the morning was the perfect amount to get us on our way. We would stay there again! Loved this place. An A+!"

"Two of us spent 3 nights in this gorgeous apartment as we were visiting La Charite for work. Byron and Kelly could not have been more helpful- from meeting us at the train station on arrival to taking us back at the end of our stay- laden with work documents but also much of the fine produce to be bought locally. The apartment is very spacious and well equipped, with plentiful supplies of fluffy towels in the well appointed bathrooms. The tower was a real treat, giving spectacular views of the church and the town and is well worth the (slightly) precarious climb! As the apartment is vey conveniently located in the main street everything is close at hand in this extremely beautiful and interesting town. Kelly's recommendation to visit the master chocolatier, whose shop is built into the priory walls- was much appreciated as I have never tasted such heavenly chocolates, marshmallows and jellied fruits. I'm amazed any of them made it home as gifts! I would thoroughly recommend staying here and can't wait to return- for both work and pleasure!"

"We have just spent 12 fantastic days in this very nice apartment in the center of Beaune. The apartment had everything we needed and it was clean and well-maintained. Lots to see in town and in the area, and since it was very hot it was a big plus for our children ( and ourselves) aged 8 and 11 that there is a public pool a five minutes walk away. There is also the very nice Beaune cote plage at the outskirts of town where you can swim i 4 natural ponds. You can buy lots of good food in the stores and on the market, especially cheese, bread and sausages. The local bakers had really good bread and the worlds best croissants. Of the restaurants we tried the two best were the La Tavola Calda with good pizzas and pasta and the french bistro Le Carnot which has very good food to very reasonable prices. Of course there was a lot good wines too. Take a trip to some of the wineyards in the area and learn about wine and taste wines. And not least a very big thank you to our fantastic host Jocelyne who made our vacation in Beaune such a great experience. She provided extremely good customer and was very helpfull recommending what to see in Beaune, where to eat, what local food to try etc. We can really recommend this property and we will definetely visit Beaune again in the future."

"Ken and Sarah's home offers a charming retreat in the enchanting village of Semur-en-Auxois. The house has clearly been restored to highlight its original features, while providing modern conveniences for today's traveler (e.g. Washing machine & dryer, dishwasher, a true cook's cooking ware). Also it is furnished both comfortably and stylistically with attention to detail. Semur-en-Auxois is a cute medieval village that also offers great conveniences --good restaurants, tasty boulangeries, and a convenience store that is open every day. These are all walking distance to the house. We stayed here for five days and it also provided a great base for exploring Burgundy, from wine tasting in Beaune to learning about Vercingetorix at the Musee Parc Alesia. We would love to find the opportunity to come back!"
