Champagne Ardenne is a region located in the northeastern part of France that enjoys a mild continental climate. Winter months are cool and wet with most of the annual rainfall occurring during this season. The summers are mild and warm with the occasional rain showers. Summer starts in mid-May and runs through September. The most popular time of year to travel is during July and August as this coincides with the major European holiday season. Many food and wine festivals take place during the summer months and it's a good idea to find out when they are happening so you can get to join in with the festivities during your stay.
