  • near everything

"The placement of the condo is great, everything is nearby like the Croisette, Suquet, restaurants, beach, taxi stand, etc.. and the balcony is great because in this location there are no balconies available."

  • The perfect base from which to explore beautiful Vence and the Côte d'Azur!

"I read the previous review dated August 2012 and can only agree completely with their glowing report. A party of eight of us, consisting of three children under 10, one 20 something and four over 40's arrived from New Zealand for a week long stay in late August 2012. The location of the villa is absolutely stunning. We awoke in the morning, looked out over the wonderful outdoor pool and were greeted with postcard like views of the viaduct over La Lubiane to Vence. The home is really set for outdoor living with a fully equipped outdoor kitchen (which was used for all our meals), gas barbecue, sun-drenched yard and family sized pool under the palms. Absolutely first class! Coffee and pastries are a short stroll away over the viaduct, as is the village market (offering all of the produce you would associate with provincial France), and most importantly several wine merchants. Inside, the villa has been impeccably maintained and was spotlessly clean. My wife is very discerning when it comes to cleanliness and she could not fault the home at all. Strong endorsement indeed! All of the bedrooms were luxuriously appointed and the beds (well mine anyway) was very comfortable. The second floor loft was the perfect space for our young-ones. The inside kitchen had all you would expect, though I'm not really qualified to comment further as I do not believe we used it at all - the outdoor kitchen saw all the action. Whilst we have fond memories of the many sights seen and places visited on the Côte d'Azur, some of the best days were spent at the villa lazing around the pool, cooking outside and sipping wine while the kids splashed in the pool. We were in France a total of four weeks and our week at this villa in Vence was a real highlight. I cannot speak highly enough of both the location and home itself. A real slice of paradise! Thanks Rhonda and Robert! Cheers Andrew & family"

  • Cozy studio

"We stayed in the small studio on the 1st floor for 10 days. The apartment is located in the Old Town of Cannes - very good location and also on a very quite street due to the city center. The owner was very kind and reasonable. Good experience."

  • Great Apartment, Great City

"My husband and I just completed a 2 month stay at Stuart and Julie's wonderful apartment on Rue Alphonse Karr. It was our first trip to Nice and the apartment and the city could not have been more welcoming. Coming home each day to this spacious, clean, comfortable apartment was a treat. It is in a ideal location to walk to the Promenade, the Old City, or just stroll through the shopping areas on Jean Medecin and Rue de France.. It is close enough to walk to the train station making day trips to Italy and other French cities a breeze. There are restaurants galore right in the neighborhood and when you open the building’s door to the street you get a whiff of the delicious bread baking at the Lorraine bakery a few doors down. Another big plus was having the Casino supermarket literally just downstairs. The neighbours in the building were great, polite and helpful to us, a couple in our sixties. Another plus was the property manager. Marilia, who met us at the apartment, gave us tips and maps for the area, and was just a great asset to have in Nice. We have booked a return trip to this apartment for three months next year. Working with Stuart and Julie was a true pleasure from the beginning to the end of the process"
