"We stayed in this apartment for only four days - wish it could have been longer - it was delightful - had everything we needed and the great views were well worth the climb. It is hilly so be prepared for some uphill walks - my consolation was thinking it wore off some of the delicious food in the many restaurants we ate in. The shops, beach, markets, cafes , buses. were all easily accessible so not necessary to have a car. The concierge was very helpful - picked us up at the bus station as the trains and taxis were on strike the day we arrived. That was much appreciated! I would recommend this apartment and the town of Menton."

"So, your planning on staying in one of the most beautiful places on the Côte d'Azur, Menton. Let me congratulate you on your brilliance. Well, now you need to make the ultimate decision, where to stay. After much research I decided on this terrific apartment. Now, you can choose to stay in an apartment that is in a modern building with absolutely no personality or you can choose an apartment with all the modern conveniences and loaded with charm and personality, in a superb location, with incredible views, and cool breezes. My wife and I loved this apartment, it was clean, comfortable, close to the beach, gardens, restaurants and it had everything we wanted or needed. The owner, Josy, was a pleasure to work with. She had an amazing amount of knowledge of Menton as well as many other areas of France. She gave us superb, and very usable, information about the area, its history, things to see, restaurants etc. She also helped with other areas of France that we visited. If you are concerned about the apartment not having air conditioning let me say this, although the temperature outside was fairly hot (mid 80's f daytime 70's f at night) the apartment stayed cool (with the widows open). We sleep very well and had no need for air conditioning. Should we get the chance to return to this beautiful city I definitely stay at this apartment again."

"This was our third extended stay in Menton over the past decade, and this is now our preferred location in this marvelous little city. The apartment is even better equipped than we had anticipated and has all of the comforts of home. We travel lightly and trundled our roll-aboards to and from the gare routière (bus depot) in 15-20 minutes, but bus service is available to a stop within half a block.
The owners are excellent to work with, and it definitely makes it easy and convenient to communicate in English and to complete the transaction in U.S. dollars with no worries about extra taxes or charges.
Thanks to the owners' suggestion, we discovered Sainte-Agnès, the highest coastal town in Europe where you can view a part of the Maginot Line after a breathtaking bus ride up a series of switchbacks.
We returned to Ventigmiglia on its market day (the nearest train station is less than a 10-minute walk), and bought a huge hunk of three-year-old Parmigiano-Reggiano to bring home. Another day we went up to Roquebrune-Cap-Martin and wandered around the castle before lunching at Les Deux Frères.
In summary, Menton continues to be one of our favorite places in the world, and our first choice of accommodation in future will be Tom's and Marilyn's cute apartment. Merci!"

"Very elegantly decorated, fresh ,clean and comfortable small apartment in Winter Palace. Comfortable bed and good bedding. Well equipped kitchen if you can be bothered cooking ( we couldn't --too many good restaurants on the door step). Eric the owner accommodating , brought me a hairdryer, my holiday ruined without one! Would recommend. Only slight drawback and probably may not bother most people but bathroom so stylish it doesn't have a door. But apart from that all first rate."
