Shagadelic flat by the sea
"This unique apartment is perfectly located on the Promenade just a ten minute walk from the historic district and with a full-service grocer around the corner. While on the ground floor and so missing the water-views of flats on upper floors, the owner has created a unique and very private garden complete with blooming gardenias, roses and a hot tub that got used every night. The apartment has top of the line accouterments, notably in the kitchen and bath, and everything is controllable by remote, including the bed, which rolls out of a big hutch at the touch of a button. The combination of the remote-controlled bed, the shag rug and zebra-striped couch, the wall-sized mirror and the hot tub brought to mind Austin Powers and so we dubbed it our shagadelic palace. It's a great apartment."

"My family had a wonderful stay at Nathalie's apartment in June. Nathalie met us exactly as planned, the apartment was super clean, newly remodeled. We loved the coastal decor. One would think there might be noise as the apartment is right on the Promenade des Anglais, but the apartment has huge double sliding glass doors, so no noise at all once the doors are closed. In fact, in the evening, a fellow playing the electric cello played on the promenade. We loved it! After a busy day touring around, we would sit out and listen before and after dinner. Again, once we closed the doors, we heard nothing. The apartment is located in a perfect spot. A straight walk down from the train station, 15 min. and so close to Old Town with shops & restaurants, we walked every evening to dinner. Grocery store is just around the corner. We really loved Nice, and this apartment made our stay perfect! We would highly recommend!"

"On arrival I was met by David's In-Laws which is a very nice touch and they gave me all the info I needed. They are lovely and make themselves available at all times. They even drove my friend to the Airport because of a Bus strike.
This apartment is wonderful, very sunny, has a lovely view of the sea, is extremely clean with a large balcony where you can have meals because of a big table and chairs. It is well equipped with everything you need and the bedding is of high quality and very comfortable. Well located, a couple of minutes from the sea and the beach, close to bakeries, supermarkets and with easy access to public transportation. The booking of the apartment was easy with David's quick reply by e-mails to any query.
Could not ask for a better apartment, will recommend it to friends and family and will certainly come back."

"Apartment had all the necessities, and the bakery and Asian restaurant just below was a huge plus. Very close to a groceries stores and markets. The beach is literally only 1 block away! The owners even provided beach toys for our kids to use! Very good people. The only down side is that parking can be very tough to come by if you are driving in. We parked our car in a parking garage and never used it once until we left!"
