"Driving up the winding road from Vence centre you climb higher and the views get better and eventually you arrive at La Bastide des pins. It's a perfect setting and Alain and Isabelle the ideal hosts full of suggestions about what to visit. The apartment was spotless and well equipped with everything we needed. That winding road to Vence isn't too far and a lovely walk in the morning, as was the forest trail into the hills in the other direction. After the busy galleries and museums returning to the apartment was so relaxing. Recommended!!"

"The phrase "exceeded expectations "may be overused in advertising, and we had been to the VRBO website, but there is no other way to describe our reaction and that of our guests as we took in the view from the porch for the first time. And we felt that way with each sunrise and sunset! We were all intrigued by the design and furnishings in the living rooms, and how eight adults could gather together or find individual space.
We did our best at sampling the local cuisine, both at the villa and away. The garden setting (and people watching) at Le Colombe d'Or was wonderful; the food, we felt, did not match that level. Your recommendation of Chateau St. Martin was fulfilled, and the food matched the setting on the terrace."

"We had a great time in Nice at the end of our vacation on southern France. Unfortunately, we just allowed only two full days to stay in Nice and one was marred by rain. The location couldn’t be better and in our short stay we learned how easy could be to move around, although there is a learning phase. By the way, you don’t need a car, which is actually a burden in this busy part of the city. We visited the Matisse Museum with an easy bus drive and went to Antibes by train to see the Picasso Museum. To take the tour in the little train from Massena square was a delightful experience. We could walk and enjoy the Promenade des Anglais appreciating the amazing blue color of the Mediterranean Ocean when the sun shines. The old city is just around the corner from the apartment and is delight to walk it through. The apartment is truthful to the pictures, cozy, comfortable and well maintained and equipped. We were four people, a couple and two lady friends and were quite comfortable. The process of renting was easy and pleasant. The owners, Cecelia and Linda were welcoming and accommodating through email, and John, the manager was incredibly helpful in showing us the apartment, giving us tips and helping to find a secure parking for our rented car. Unless you know Nice, don’t go for less than 5 days because you need a day or two to learn how to get around. There is so much to do and see, and this apartment can’t be better located!"
