Great location, great apartment
"We stayed 8 nights. The apartment is exactly as described and as seen in photos. There are lots of stairs to get to apart and the stairs to mezzanine are steep but we were well aware of this before getting there, so no big deal for us. There is alot of street noise at all times of the day but as soon as you shut the windows, you do not hear any noise from outside and there is no apartment above so that was nice. The apart is a very nice size for two people and has all the amenities, including a washer. It is right in the middle of old Nice and you can everything close by. A tip: for cheap basic groceries, go to Lidl which is not too far away. As well, it is easy to get there by bus from the airport, #98. We would stay there again. Finally, Francoise was very helpful and accommodating. Merci!"

"This apartment is easily one of the most thoughtfully appointed apartments we've rented in Europe - from the IPOD docking station with good sound system, the DVD player that plays U.S. DVDs, nespresso machine with coffee pods, printer, and fully equipped kitchen. This is the first place we've rented that had enough toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, soap and dry goods for our entire stay. It is perfect for a couple, especially if one person snores and her spouse needs to escape to another room. The bed in the bedroom is very comfortable and the sofabed in the study is fine. There were plenty of sheets and towels, and it was nice to have 1.5 bathrooms. However, this place is really about the VIEW, which is fabulous. The building sits above a busy street, which is both positive and negative. The positive aspect is that it is easy to get anywhere in the area from the apartment. You are steps away from a bus to Nice, Monaco and especially Cap Ferrat (a must!). You can walk downhill to the train station going to all points along the coast, as well as to the beach (great ice cream at the kiosks). You can also walk downhill to the old town with all of the necessary shops, and then you can get exercise walking back up. If you prefer, you can hop on the bus to the supermarket, but we patronized the shops in the old town. The only negative is the street noise. The windows are double-paned, which muffles the sound and there is less traffic at night. We are sensitive to noise, but easily managed 10 nights by using ear plugs to sleep and playing music in the living room during the day. The location and the view really make this place a find!"

"We enjoyed our 3-night stay at Deni's apartment in this beautiful and quaint village. The accommodations were comfortable and well equipped. It made a cozy and convenient location from which to visit Nice, Monaco and Eze. Parking was available in the town lot and we were able to drive in a bit closer for loading and unloading the car. Denis did not let his little English and our little French become a barrier to our communication, as he sought out a friend from the village to help translate! We had the pleasure of having dinner at a village restaurant run by Remy. He was a warm, interesting, amiable guy who took a genuine interest in our family. We also availed ourselves of the local boulangerie. The village itself was full of photo opportunities and historical interest. Finally, the views up and down the mountain were spectacular."
