  • Romantic getaway

"Our first trip to Paris and rather than stay in a hotel, we wanted to have more room, walk to shops, have breakfast in. Never rented through VRBO, so apprehensive. We were met by the owner who kindly showed us how to use everything, gave recommendations for store and meals and was extremely pleasant. The apartment was beautiful and extremely well equipped. The location was exactly what we had wanted and described. Fabulous views of the Seine River and Notre Dame. Busy in the day, quiet at night. In fact, we went to Loire Valley from this apartment and asked to come back and stay a couple nites til our flight left. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay, should we, hopefully return. Thank you Katia and Yann!"

  • Fun location!

"This apartment is located in an ideal location, just steps from all of the happenings, but at the same time tucked away on a small street and facing a courtyard, and therefore is quiet. Within a short walk are located several historic places such as Café de Flore and Les Deux Magots, Brasserie Lipp, and Place St. Germain des Prés. Plenty of shops and good restaurants are nearby and there's also a great weekly (organic) market on Blvd Raspail that takes place on Sunday mornings. Métro line 4 is literally just around the corner and line 10 is just a little further down the block- both convenient to access anywhere you want to go in the city. Rue St. André des Arts, Place St. Sulpice, and Luxembourg Garden are also within an easy walk and are not to be missed! And the Seine is just within a few minutes walk as well. The home was furnished with everything that I needed including a kitchen, coffee maker, adapters, hair dryer, washing machine, telephone, and good wifi connection. Communication with Xavier, the owner was prompt and he was very attentive to any needs or concerns. At times, maybe a little overly hands-on, as he liked to spontaneously drop by at least once a week to check if everything was okay. So there was a little lack of privacy in that regard since you always had to be sure and be presentable (dressed) in case he dropped in. Otherwise, it was a comfortable stay. Great location!"

  • Clean, quiet, close to bus and metro

"My aunt and I had a wonderful stay in this apartment. The double bed and sofa bed/futon were both very comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom were more spacious than expected, and the kitchen had the supplies (bowls, cups, etc.) we needed. We appreciated having the washing machine to wash some clothes. The building is very quiet and feels very safe, but is only half a block from the metro and multiple buses. It's very easy to get around Paris, even though the apartment is not in a "touristy" area. We liked being in a neighborhood that felt more local, and there were plenty of cafes, grocery stores, and bakeries nearby. Conrad met us when we arrived and was very friendly and helpful. Julia was also very helpful and responsive. We had a great visit, and this apartment was a very good value!"
