"Stayed with our daughter and son-in-law for a week. Had plenty of privacy. The apartment is in a great location for daily trips to famous sights, markets, restaurants. Had a meal next door at Au Bougnat which was excellent and a couple of drinks at their bar. People were very friendly. Also a short walk to Notre Dame and the Metro. Kitchen allowed us to make several meals and save money. Fabienne was easy to contact. and very accommodating. Sabine, you're the best. Thank you for all of your advice and for trying so hard to get me a bicycle. (I did get to ride on the Cote D'Azur.) Would love to visit again.
A la prochaine......"

"Our family of four - parents and two adult children, stayed in Michel’s apartment for the month of June and it was fabulous. The location was perfect for us, quiet but a few minutes walk from the wonderful Rue Mouffetard where we bought food from all the markets every day. There were also a great number of restaurants, metro station close by as well as all the wonderful places to see in the Latin Quarter (much of the film "Midnight In Paris" takes place in this area). In addition, we walked to many sites of Paris from the apartment.
The apartment itself was very comfortable with a good kitchen where we made a few meals and prepared many great lunches (the only thing we did not have was an oven or microwave oven). There is a nice living room and dining table. There were three bedrooms upstairs, one with a double futon and two bedrooms with twin beds each. There were two full bathrooms, one downstairs and one upstairs. We were also able to do laundry without any trouble. In addition, the apartment had a Wi-Fi network that worked without issue. There are a lot of stairs to get to the apartment but there is also a small lift/elevator.
Michel met us when we arrived and showed us all through the apartment and was a pleasure to work with and very easy to communicate with through email. We would definitely stay there again the next time we visit."

Outstanding Experience: First Time in Paris, First Time with VRBO Instead of a Hotel
"So I was nervous about the whole thing - my first trip to France with my 16yr old daughter and have never tried VRBO before. Our cab delivered us to this charming charming area - the Marais district - surrounded by restaurants, a short walk to the train and shopping and easy blocks to museums and parks. I was blown away. Our new home away from home had a secure french door entry - beautiful big wooden doors - a quiet courtyard (so appreciated for good sleep) and the flat was absolutely lovely. Well appointed with charming furniture, artwork, an updated modern kitchen, a bathtub/shower - yes!, and big windows that let in breezes. Both the bed and the pullout couch were very comfortable. We spent the first day of eight just putzing around our new place after getting groceries - it was so charming, comfortable, clean and had a thorough book for all needs. My daughter contracted bronchitis and, on a Sunday, I looked in our book with information that was left with us and found a doctor for 80 euros who made a house call. It was hard to return home. We will be returning to this flat again next year - we loved it."

"Our family of 4 enjoyed this Marais home away from home. We stayed in July 2015 and found the apartment to be very spacious for us all... especially for teenagers (16yr. boy & 13yr. girl) who need their own space. The apartment was on the 4th floor with a working elevator. Major bonus of having a Metro Station one block away. We had a seamless check-in and found the amenities to be perfect for a weeks stay. The city is very busy below so you feel very close to the city excitement at all times. We loved to keep the doors and windows open to hear the city day and night. For Paris this apartment has spacious bedrooms and the living room is comfortable. We hosted our family friends for lunch (Falafels from mi va mi) and had plenty of room around the large kitchen table. Wifi was spot on and a requirement for quiet content teenagers. The added treat of umbrellas made the final day of the Tour de France possible (amenities that count with Paris sprinkles) *Note the following right outside your door..grocery, liquor store, fresh produce market, spectacular pastry, restaurants, Metro, news kiosk, chocolate shops, shopping. Thank you for a lovely stay."
