  • Great place!

"I stayed in this apartment last month and it was one of the reasons why my vacation in Paris was a blast. Great place in a nice neighborhood - strategic location as it's close to commercial establishments, nice restaurants and transportation system. The apartment itself was very clean and had all the comforts of home. The host was accommodating with my requests, no hassles with the transactions. Would stay in this apartment again if ever I'm back in Paris in the future."

  • Perfect house in center definitely

"We spent 5 days with 2 couples and 2 teen agers and the house was perfect. Lot of space, huge master bedroom, 2 perfect smaller bedrooms, wonderful beds, great showers and bathrooms, large living room, large and fully equipped kitchen where we cooked meals for 12 people including friends staying in Paris. It couldn't have been better! Annette the owner was of great help, arranged for reservations in some fantastic non touristic restaurants and answered all the questions we had about best places to go. Art on walls and shelves is amazing. We'll definitely be back!"

  • Fantastic place to stay

"We stayed here with with our 2 adult children for a week. Pros:Location was awesome! Right across the street from the metro and you could see Napoleon's tomb dome all lit up at night right from your window. 10 min. walk(and I walk slow) to Eiffel Tower. Tons of cafes and pubs super close. You can even walk to Champs Elysees(about 30 min.)! 2 bedrooms is very nice to have. Cozy TV room. We were met by Renata and she gave us all the information we needed to get us started like where to buy groceries, etc. We had other questions and she answered those as well. The only con:the smaller shower only bathroom is just that "small." I am 5' 1" and I fit in the shower but the 2 men in my family did not but there is another bathroom which is big and very nice. The kitchen is great for preparing meals. The washer and dryer are nice because we only had one small suitcase each and we were gone a total of 20 days so we had to do laundry and that was very nice so we didn't have to bring a lot. I would definitely recommend this place. I was impressed that Pascal answered our questions in a timely manner and there were no issues with meeting the person who let us into the apt. Couches are comfortable and convert to a bed if needed. One of my kids pulled one out to watch TV one time and I laid on it and it was THE most comfortable pull out couch I have ever laid on! I wasn't on it very long but it was comfy! The apt. is exactly as described! Enjoyed our time in Paris very much! Thanks."

  • Everything you could want!

"We have just spent 6 weeks in this apartment and it was everything we needed: warm enough, room enough, near enough + safe and secure enough and very comfy. In fact we have no criticism - we felt at 'home'! There are three factors that were important to us - the first was space to live in rather than camp-in, the second was being able to be self-sufficient so that we could go to restaurants for fun not necessity, and the last was access to the places we might want to go to - so access to transport. With regards to space to live in; for this long a stay a studio apartment could have become claustrophobic - it was a real plus to have separate rooms - ie kitchen/dining room, lounge room, bedroom to give a sense of space. Equally if a friend had arrived there was a bed to offer! Actually friends did arrive but we never told them about that option because we were enjoying our space too much to want to share it for more than a night?! With regard to self-catering spending this much time in Paris meant that we often wanted to cook for ourselves and everything we ever needed was there, from the big things such as a dishwasher or the small but vital detail such as the cheese grater/potato peeler/bottle opener/non-stick pans +lids etc (and must not forget to mention the farmer's markets on the door-step on Saturdays and Sundays, but of course being France even the produce in the local supermarkets such as Monoprix was great). With regards to transport we could not have been in a better place (well - perhaps but not at this price!!! And not without having limitless funds and living over a taxi outlet!). We preferred to use buses because we could get a scenic view of Paris without the stress of driving, and found that the 80 bus from rue Grenelle was a wonderful link to anywhere we needed to get to. We found an overview of the bus map online and learnt to photograph the bus maps at useful bus line stops so we could always plan our journey - even late at night. The metro was equally accessible and user friendly for those with better 'joints' than our older ones! We have no hesitation in recommending this apartment - one of its other virtues is that the other apartments in the block are owned by people who 'live' in Paris and therefore we were not troubled by 'party' noise - though equally it was reasonable to be thoughtful of your neighbours."
