"I have been to Paris about 15 times now and still find more new things to see and share. This time, it was a family group of 5: 2 grand-parents (age 60), mom, and two grand-daughters (ages 7 and 11). We had a wonderful stay at this flat and readily recommend it to anyone with a group of 5 or less. Six could be done but would be pushing it. Those with handicaps might want to pass as there are a couple of small stairs to navigate before getting to the elevator.
The flat is situated in the best part of Paris and surrounded by restaurants, bakeries, convenience shops, boutiques and more. The building's location and ambiance really let your feel like a native—far better than staying in a hotel. It was a 5 min easy walk to the nearest Metro (Pont Marie or Cite). We took Super Shuttle from the CDG airport and had no problems at all. If you plan to arrive early in the morning, I recommend checking with Jean-Noel to see if you can arrange early check-in. That worked well for us and avoided having to find a place to dump our luggage until normal check-in time.
Jean-Noel and his representative, Myriam and Yves, were superb hosts. Very prompt to respond and easy to work with. The flat itself was in immaculate condition, with everything we needed for sleeping, cooking, etc. A 220V --> 120 V converter is provided for those with US electrical equipment. Do NOT use US hair dryers or curling irons even with the converter (we found that out the hard way) but a 220V hair dryer is provided. Internet via WIFI is easy to use and with acceptable speed. The beds were very comfortable, even the pull out sofa.
Suggested things to do that are a bit off the normal lists include the catacombs (my 7 year old loved it), a tethered balloon ride in Andre Citroen park, and getting a family photo on the Bateaux Mouche boat ride when both the Statue of Liberty and Eiffle Tower are in the shot.
We look forward to returning to Paris and this flat."

"I stayed here for a week and found the apartment to be delightfully light and airy with a lovely view over Square D'Anvers. the lounge is elegantly furnished and the kitchen tiny but well equipped. And who wants to eat at home when in Paris! this apartment is all about Location with a capital "L". Everything is incredibly convenient with the Metro only a minute's walk and likewise the hop on/hop off sight seeing buses. Cafes, restaurants and speciality shops selling amazing cheeses, pastries, meats and pies abound in nearby streets. We especially enjoyed the fantastic mini quiches from Rose Bakery in Rue Des Martyrs. Another appealing aspect is the neighborhood is quiet and predominantly inhabited by locals even though just minutes away crowds of tourists fill the streets leading up the hill to Sacre Coeur and Mont Martre. We look forward to staying again if we have the chance and would thoroughly recommend."

"Very comfortable apartment and convenient location. Quick access to bakeries, restaurants, cafes. There was a great small store down the street for groceries! There were 8 of us and there was plenty of space. Plenty of beds to accommodate all of us.
Short walk to the metro and other attractions.
We cooked a lot of our meals, the kitchen was well stocked. I was very grateful to have access to a phone to call the U.S. Wifi was very helpful. Vilay, the owner, was away when we arrived but she provided us with specific instructions on where to pick up the apartment key and how to access the apartment building. I must admit, we were very nervous to not have anybody waiting for us or to greet us but everything went exactly as Vilay instructed. I will definitely stay here again if I ever get the chance to go back to Paris. I'm very pleased to have chosen this apartment as our home away from home."

"This apartment is really as good if not better than advertised .
This was our second stay at 21 Rue Beranger. We stayed one month and as usual really enjoyed this apartment. The apartment manager is very responsive to any inquiries and fixed anything we needed in a short time. We have visited paris many, many times, but will always stay here as long we can travel to Paris. We are over 70 and find the apartment perfect for all things. The kitchen is great as I love to cook. We especially enjoyed our Tuesday and Friday visit to the Richard Lenoir market. My husband is french and has many first cousins in and around Paris and in the SW of France. We have had many large family meals and good times with relatives in this apartment. The proximity, to Metro and all the connections it gives you is great. The restaurants, shopping and just about everything is so convenient. The space of this apartment is remarkable and just Paris perfect. If you want an immersion experience this area, The Republic, is truly a working class Paris neighborhood with a lot to offer. We love all the eating places, but really enjoy Absinthe Cafe on Rue Turbigo(near the arts and Metiers metro stop)
and made great nightly visits to the "Shake and Smash" bar on Rue Turbigo, just across from
Temple Metro stop. Ask for Jerome and Sephora, it is an old family business. Thanks again to the owner for finding this little gem and sharing with us. Ps if you tire of French food try the Chinese / Thai food place Avenue de Republic just down from the Crowne Plaza Hotel across the square from Rue Beranger. Thanks again for a great home away from home."
