  • Comfortable, cozy, romantic, great location!

"We just returned from 9 nights in Serge's wonderful apartment in Paris and we were very comfortable and happy there! My husband had been a bit wary of renting an apartment initially, but once we saw it he agreed that it was a great way to go, so much better than a hotel. At the end of a day of walking your feet off it was especially nice to have that big tub for soaking, and with a tankless water heater, there was plenty of hot water. In spite of being on a busy street, it is uncannily quiet in the bedroom...I mean *silent*, which made for great sleeping. In addition to its convenient location, staying here allowed us to experience the charm of an apartment in a gracious, older Parisian building, which really added to the fun. As others have noted, you'll need to be able to climb stairs (87 of 'em...but who's counting ;-) ) but after all the bread and pastries we picked up around the corner, we were glad for the extra exercise! Serge is very friendly and helpful. I'll be recommending this place to friends traveling to Paris. :-)"

  • Amazing location! Great apartment!

"I spent a week in this fantastic apartment in April with my husband and our 7 year old daughter. It was the perfect home base for us to enjoy Paris for the week. It was the first time we traveled to Paris with our daughter so it was really important to have the right location. Everything was so convenient and everything we needed was within a few blocks of the apartment. The Tuileries Garden was one block away and we enjoyed going there every morning and evening to let my daughter run around while we enjoyed out coffee :) There were great grocery store options very nearby and we were able to get everything we needed. The kitchen in the apartment was clean, modern, and a pleasure to prepare our food in. In fact, the whole apartment had been beautifully updated and it had every modern convenience one could want! Our host, Patrick, was fantastic. He welcomed us warmly when we arrived and he spend at least an hour making sure we were settled and understood everything we needed regarding the apartment and the surrounding area. The week we spent on Rue St. Honore was one of the best travel experiences we have had so far. We cannot wait to come back...this would be the only choice for us. I have already recommended this lovely apartment to many of my friends :)"

  • A Delight

"The apartment, the location, the owner, and her assistant who met us at the apartment are all a delight. The metro stop is very close as is a well-stocked grocery store. The apartment is very comfortable -even the sofa bed. We cooked dinner for 2 Parisian friends as the small kitchen is well-equipped, and the dining area is lovely. Our Parisian friends were delighted with the lovely old building (which surprisingly has a lift). Christine is a pleasure to work with, and has beautifully furnished the apartment so it has a warm, homey feeling. I've been in Paris about 5 times, and this was the best place in which I've stayed."

  • Perfect Location!

"This apartment was the perfect nesting spot for our visit to Paris. We were there for 9 days so it was wonderful to have the convenience of a fully equipped apartment. We ate breakfast there every day (with fresh croissants from the bakery just down the street) and had lots of wine and cheese time while gazing out at the fascinating view. The apartment is very centrally located - just a short walk to the park for picnics or to key museums. The bathroom is quite roomy, the beds were comfortable, and Patrick was a great host (and speaks perfect English). I would highly recommend this apartment for 2-4 people."
