The perfect location for art lovers
"This apartment was perfect for our first visit to Paris. It's central location near the Tuileries Gardens made it convenient to walk to the Louvre, musee de l'Orangerie, and musee d'Orsay. A nearby Metro station gave us access to the rest of the city and connections to trains for out of town adventures. Close to restaurants, a wine store, a fabulous bakery, a grocery store and an ATM just across the street. Patrick was a wonderful and humorous host, taking the time to explain everything about the apartment and about the surrounding area. Elevators to the fifth and sixth floor gave easy access. However, the elevators were quite tiny and not for the claustrophobic. It was very clean with modern kitchen appliances. The bathroom had plenty of light and hot water. It perfectly suited my wife and I for our week-long stay. We highly recommend it."

"Gosh, where do I begin?
The apartment is even more beautiful than the photos!! It is creatively and tastefully decorated with a delightful feeling of whimsy that is perfect for Paris. Right on the corner downstairs is a boulangerie for fresh bread, down the street is a great little grocery store and the Metro and buses are steps away. Next to the grocery is a yummy patisserie, filled with sweet delights. The apartment is situated off the Blvd. L'Opera in an area filled with Asian restaurants that are great. Fear not, though, classic French brasseries and restaurants are nearby. The walk to the Louvre is about 10 minutes, same for the gorgeous L'Opera and the major department stores and boutiques in the City. The location is perfect for viewing the old City, plus the main tourist office for Paris is right next to the grocery store. You can buy tickets for everything you want and skip the lines, get Metro tickets etc. Everything you need is at your fingertips!
We chose to have breakfast at home everyday and had two or three dinners there as well if it was a tiring day sightseeing. The kitchen is petite but has everything you need. There is a sweet WC and a separate bathroom with a very nice shower! In addition, a washer/dryer! No need to pack tons of clothing; save room for goodies to bring home with you! The loft bedroom is very nice; a comfortable king size bed and a bureau. There is an armoire downstairs by the bathroom for hanging clothing in as well.
Christine is just the best hostess. She spends plenty of time telling you everything you want to know and is always available if you need help or have any questions at all. Her manager, Fadila, is so sweet. She doesn't speak English but seems to understand everything and is most helpful. She picked us up at the airport and dropped us off as well for a very reasonable fee. The service all around is wonderful. Trust me, you are in good hands!
My parting words. Both my husband and I felt "at home" and were happy to return to this charming apartment after a busy day. I would love to stay here longer and experience Paris in depth. You will fall in love with Christine and her fabulous apartment!! C'est magnifique!"

"My wife and I stayed in the Mona Lisa flat for 9 nights in late December-early January and loved it. The flat was clean, the wi-fi was awesome, bedroom was quiet, and the compact kitchen had everything we needed. The location was perfect, close to the metro and all kinds of restaurants, shops and attractions.
Nancy was a pleasure to deal with, and Fernando was very helpful with our luggage and tips for the flat.
The 104 stairs up to the flat were a little daunting at first, but after a few days we got used to them.
The heaters warmed the flat up quickly, and we always had hot water. We also used the free phone to call home to the states a few times, a nice bonus. We felt very secure in the flat with the double- locking door.
There was even a nice selection of books to read, many of them vacation oriented guides which proved helpful. The bedroom in the back of the flat, off the street, was very quiet at night. There is a nice tapas bar and some restaurants below and across the street from the building and we got a little street noise at times, but it was never a problem and you couldn't hear street noise at all in the bedroom. We definitely felt staying in the Mona Lisa in Arrondisement 1 was the best location in the city. We are already looking forward to returning to the Mona Lisa as soon as we can. Nancy and Fernando, thanks for making our stay so easy!"

"I would definitely recommend this property. It is located in the heart of Paris close to everything and right on the Metro. The apartment is amazing - great décor, convenient, spacious and you really feel like you are in Paris! I will definitely rent this place again in the future when I return to Paris and will recommend to all my friends. The owners are very kind and welcoming. I've rented from VRBO before and this was the best experience so far!"
