Marais Location is Perfect and Apartment was Wonderful--13 Day Stay in May
"Highly recommend this apartment
Two couples comfortably stayed This place was exceptional;
Location, Location, Location in the middle of the Marais!!!!
--800 yards from one of the great farmers markets in Paris at the Bastille. Open Sunday and Thursday. We went 4 times during our stay and bought incredible fruits, vegetables, seafood, beef, cheeses, crepes, baguettes, and flowers. We ate in half the nights and we ate really well because of this market.
--3 short blocks from Place de Vosges--this was Royal Palace of Louis 13. Now a beautiful large grassy square with fountains. We took dinner and wine to the park one night.
--2 blocks from two great bakeries--one toward Place de Vosges on Turenne one on Rue St Gilles
--1 block from nice supermarket on Rue St Gilles
--100 restaurants within half a mile. We especially enjoyed Chez Janou (make reservations early--we had one delicious meal and tried to make another reservation 2 days before and it was too late) on Rue Roger Verlomme about 3 blocks away and Les Bougresses (ate here twice for delicious 3 course meal for 25 Euro) about 4 blocks away, We also did take out at Pasta Linea (excellent pasta) 3 blocks away and Slyce (pizza) one block away on Turenne toward Place de Vosges. Jewish quarter was nearby and had great Falafel from famous Falafel take out.
--800 yards from St Paul metro which takes you to all the major sites
--Butcher shop next to St Paul metro with great chicken
--One block from Picasso Museum and two blocks from Carnavalet Museum
Apartment--probably 100 years old. Old and charming
--Apartment was very clean.
--Lovely living room with numerous paintings
--Excellent dining room
--Two large bedrooms with plenty of closet and storage space
--2 private bathrooms
--Small but well equipped kitchen. We did not use dishwasher--washed dishes by hand
--Great wifi and free wifi calls anywhere in the world from the apartment phone.
--Very secure. Two doors with keypads to just get in the stairwell and then double locked apartment door.
--Quiet but lots of activity on both streets the apartment overlooked.
--Booking was very easy. No surprises
--Local apartment manager met us when we arrived and oriented us to the apartment and local area. He also arranged for transportation to the airport and train station when we left."

"Two"mature" couples (ages 60+) rented this apartment for a week in April 2015.
The apartment was exactly as advertised: clean, cozy, quiet and bight, convenient to metro, shopping, dining...everything you could ask for!
Thank you for arranging the taxi to CDG on the morning of our departure, Pascal; it made our departure very easy.
We will definitely contact you about staying at the Rue de Buci apartment when we visit Paris again."

"We were three adults and one child (husband, wife, son, and wife's sister). The layout was perfect for having lots of extra space so we weren't crammed in with each other 24/7. The master bedroom was great for my husband and I, while the second bedroom with two beds was great for my son and his aunt. The shower was the best I have ever experienced in Europe - great water pressure and not super small. The check in process was very easy and our 'host' was very pleasant and informative. The apartment has lots of windows for light and air flow. The windows open onto both the street and the courtyard. I loved laying in bed in the morning and watching the sun rise over the rooftops from my attic bedroom. The street was a busy one with lots of the necessities near by (fran prix, boulonger, etc). The metro was an easy walk as well. We would definitely rent this apartment again. We felt like it had everything we needed (washer/dryer, drying rack, iron, fans when it got too warm, big fridge, full over/range, microwave, dishwasher, extra towels and bedding, etc.). Thanks for the wonderful stay."

"This place has to have the best views of any in Paris! Every night, after a long day so seeing the museums, churches or shopping, we'd be on the terrace to chill out and look at the city. It does not get dark in June until almost 10:30, so we'd watch the lights of the Eiffel Tower twinkle at11:00, and go to bed. We had 2 couples, so we used the upstairs sofa bed. It all worked out fine. We asked for extra pillows and hangers, they where ther when we arrived. Our "greeter", Mary reviewed everything in the apt, and after discovering a problem with the airco, had it fixed as fast as possible. Paris is now our favorite city- over Rome, NYC, San Francisco, or London. The people everywhere where helpful and kind, the food was fantastic- even just from the Monoprix. The location of the apartment could not have been better! Between walking, the Metro, the bus, and the Bateux Bus, we went everywhere with ease. We will be back, and we will use ParisPerfect!"
