  • Penthouse Voltaire

"The four of us had a delightful time at Penthouse Voltaire. Kristian was waiting for us upon our arrival and kindly showed us all features of the apartment. My friends were thrilled with the beauty of the place, the spaciousness, and the view. We couldn't have chosen a better base for our Paris visit."

  • A calm, clean, sunny apartment in a bustling, fun Parisian neighborhood

"The apartment is in a quiet, well-maintained elevator building. It's nicely laid out, with a separate kitchen, and it's extremely clean. Its large windows--in both the living/dining room and kitchen--overlook the rooftops of the neighborhood and make the apartment (which is well proportioned to begin with) feel even more spacious. Conveniences include a cooktop, oven, microwave, Wi-Fi, and washer-dryer, plus a shower with better water pressure than the one we have at home. In the immediate vicinity of the apartment, there are a number of good restaurants, including several (e.g., Septime, Le 6 Paul Bert, and the Bistrot Paul Bert) that the New York Times has recently talked up. If you want to do your own cooking, as we did, you can shop for bread and pastries, cheese, produce, and meat, all within a half-block radius. The subway is just around the corner and the #76 bus (which goes through the Marais to the Louvre) just across the avenue; you can be virtually anywhere you want in central Paris within 20 minutes. A branch of Monoprix, the French superstore that's like an upscale Target (groceries, clothing, beauty products, books, etc.), is a ten-minute walk away. We would stay here again in a flash."

  • Fabulous Parisian Apartment

"I had a wonderful experience staying at Le Deco. The apartment is very comfortable and well equipped, from the abundance of bathroom towels to every kitchen item one would need, along with a pantry stocked with essentials for cooking meals in. The location was ideal for traveling to any part of Paris, with 3 metro stops within a 1 to 4 minute walk from the apartment. I am a single woman, 65 years of age, and felt very safe in this non-touristy neighborhood. Although the apartment is small, but not by Parisian standards, the layout and use of space and storage was well planned out. The space would be tight for 4 adults but for a couple or a couple with small children, it is ideal. I loved being able to look out the 3 large double windows onto the street and see the people going to work and the children walking to school. I have been to Paris several times but this was my first experience staying in an apartment. I would definitely recommend this apartment to friends, along with the Adrian Leeds group. They were very easy to work with and if I had a question about anything, I received a call back from them within the hour. I couldn't have been happier with my choice. I will definitely stay at Le Deco on my next trip to Paris, which I am hoping will be next year."

  • Not bad for the price

"I booked this apartment for a family weekend in Paris. Upon arrival we were greeted and shown around the apartment. The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed however on our second day we discovered that dirty washing had been left in the washing machine and a large amount of towels had been left in the dryer from the previous guests. The iron cord was worn (plastic wires could be seen) and therefore too dangerous to use. The neighbourhood was great with good bakeries and it was only a short walk to the Metro station. Overall good value if you want a cheaper option for a large group."
