  • Would rent this place again and again.

"This was the first time I'd rented rather than stay in a hotel in Montparnasse. I will be renting from now on. The little apartment has everything one needs for a short or extended stay. It is in a quiet area (for Paris) and near many places to eat or buy food. Very convenient to the Gare Montparnasse as well as the Metro and busses. Easy walk up one floor. The apartment feels more spacious than the photos. We have stayed in Hotel Aiglon (4stars) previous and this is my choice from now on."

  • Great place

"We really loved this airy apartment with its views over the rooftops of Paris. It has real charm and is a lovely place to relax. Well-equipped (I especially liked the coffee-bean grinder/expresso machine) and very bright, in a secure, quiet private courtyard. Neighbours were very friendly. Rooftop terrace looked inviting (although we didn't really use it as the weather was rainy). Only a couple of minutes' walk from the Metro and bus stops and there's are supermarkets and shops very nearby, along with a laundromat. Three minute walk to the entrance to the catacombes and an easy stroll of about 15 mins to the Luxembourg gardens. An ideal base for a relaxing break. A highlight was sitting chilling in the bright lounge, drinking coffee, surfing on my iPad and listening to jazz on the radio."

  • Comfortable and Convenient

"My partner and I spent two weeks in this lovely studio and have good things to say about it. Loved that it was tucked just off of rue Daguerre, but all the shops just steps away. The bed -- a real bed, not a fold-out -- is comfortable. Kitchen has most everything you need, though maybe a little skimpy on cooking utensils and could have been a little cleaner on arrival. At first I was disappointed that there wasn't a toaster oven for leftover baguette in the morning, but then I discovered that long slim toaster nicely holds a halved portion (perhaps "duh" on my part). Tassimo worked fine (we easily bought pods at local groceries -- some espresso cups would be nice), though we mostly used the cone for pour-over coffee. Shower is small, which is to be expected, but the water was hot and had good pressure. WiFi worked wonderfully, which was a big plus for us. The television is small, but has a gorgeous picture -- we only had it on to watch part of the final of the World Cup and the parade and fireworks on the 14th. One doesn't REALLY need a tv in Paris, after all. The building was very quiet. Yes, the street can get a little noisy and the garbage trucks do come every morning, but it's to be expected in the city and the trucks were not at an unreasonable hour. We did envy some of the folks across the street who had shades on the outside of their windows, which allowed for fully open windows and privacy at night. Nonetheless, we were able to keep them open a little with shades and curtains drawn. Making the arrangements with the owner was simple, efficient, and trustworthy. Highly recommend. Thanks for a lovely stay! The apartment is an easy walk from Denfert-Rochereau if you come in on the RER from CDG airport. Otherwise, for the places we were going -- not the main tourist sites -- we used Gaite as our "home" metro station."

  • Great family holiday in luxurious family apartment

"The apartment was idealy suited for our family of 7 adults and 3 children. It was very handy for all public transport and restaraunts. The host Claire and her family were most helpful in providing information about the area and getting around Paris. Nothing was any trouble for them at any time of the day or night."

Appreciate French Architecture with 14th Arrondissement Vacation Apartments

The architecture throughout Paris is some of the best French designs in the world. See the Eiffel Tower with 14th Arrondissement Vacation Rentals

The most recognized tower in all the world — the Eiffel Tower in Paris — is a display of French ingenuity and architecture. The Eiffel Tower was nominated as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. It was built in 1889 following the trend of the Industrial Revolution and its increased use of metals. Gustav Eiffel designed and engineered the tower for the 1889 World Fair and to commemorate the centennial anniversary of the French Revolution. It continues to stand today as one of the tallest structures in the entire world and one of the most visited tourist attractions on the globe.
