Marvelous place to make memories
"My husband (who is French) and I have rented through VRBO several times. Mostly with great success, but especially with this rental directly with the owner. We rented the apartment from the US for one week. Our two granddaughters (9 and 12), my husband and myself were all delighted in different ways by the experience. For me, the kitchen was well equipped. For my husband, good space for multiple purposes. For the girls their own bedroom and WiFi. In addition, my family and I all echo the reviews of the previous guests. The apartment is in a superb location. Everything we needed was close. After busy days seeing the city we could retreat to the apartment in a quiet neighborhood with all the comforts of home. The owner, Anne, is charming, effcient, sensitive to travelers, easy and a pleasure to deal with on line and in person. Waking each morning to the bright sunlight through the French doors after a comfortable night's sleep on excellent beds, we could plan our day - using the number of resources on the bookshelf and with the reliable WiFi. The layout is perfect for two couples or a family. Our granddaugthers first visit to Paris was greatly enhanced by Anne and her home. We will return again. This space is great for a week and even better for longer stay. Highly recommend this apartment."

"We stayed at the studio near the Opera train station, the building is old and you have to climb 70+ steps to the third floor, even though the studio is small, it is very nice, has everything you need, we really enjoyed it.
Pascal was very helpful and attentive. We really enjoyed meeting him. If I come back to Paris I would rent an apartment from him."

"I spent 6 nights at Marais Chic with my adult daughter and it was perfect for us. We each had plenty of space and privacy with two bedrooms and two baths. The kitchen is great for fixing breakfast or a simple lunch but I probably wouldn't attempt dinner. ...but why would you want to? Paris has some of the best food in the world! There are many restaurants within short walking distance. There are markets nearby to pick up breakfast and snack supplies. The location is slightly off the beaten path of the major tourist attractions but we are walkers so it didn't bother us at all. The metro is very close if you wish to use that instead. The apartment was very quiet - never heard noise from above or below when trying to sleep. The washer and dryer was a nice perk to keep from having to pack so much. We also took advantage of the driver to pick us up at the airport and drop us off at the train station. He was prompt and courteous. All in all, great apartment - clean with comfortable beds. Cecile was great to work with. Would stay again, given the chance!"
