"Two old friends, my husband and I had such a great time staying at Stephanie and Darrell's apartment this summer. It felt so much like home. It is very well equipped so we just moved right in and started having yummy breakfasts of fresh croissants with strawberry jam from the local bakery and farmer's market.
The apartment amenities are very well described but the real treat is the warm and welcoming attitude of Darrell and Stephanie. They love Paris and want to make sure you do too. Upon leaving Stephanie suggested we come back in winter. Great idea!"

"We really enjoyed staying in Brigitte's place and would rent it again. The location is very convenient, the bedrooms are quiet, the apartment is well-equipped, and above all, Brigitte was a charming and helpful host with excellent knowledge of the area and solid English language skills (which was important to us with minimal French language skills). The only thing we had to contend with were very squeaky wood floors (ours and in the apartment above us), but that often comes with that kind of property."

"For the second time in 3 years I spent a month in this apartment with a friend. It could not have been better. Madame remembered us and welcomed us back. The apartment again was spotless, welcoming and well - stocked. A very spacious kitchen, bathroom, living area and bedroom. Tons of storage. It really felt like "our place" right from the beginning.
Now, a word about the neighborhood. It is one of the apartment's wonderful features. I thought I knew it quite well but was wrong. After 3 weeks in Paris, I had an accidental fall and fractured my foot. The French health care system was wonderful - but that is another subject for another time. Confined by hobbling to the little neighborhood surrounding the apartment, we discovered many more delights such as the art gallery / restaurant named Page 35, the candy shop "Meert", previously undiscovered little squares , parks, and murals etc. We returned to one of my favorite museums, Musee Carnavalet, the history of Paris museum. Also discovered were the great bus routes that can be caught right on Boulevard Beaumarchais. Route 69, in particular, carries you from one end of the city (Pere Lachaise) to the other (Eiffel Tower.) A beautiful and perfect way to rest tired feet!
I ache for the horror that the Parisians suffered the night of November 13. I truly love the city, its people, the apartment and the neigborhood and hope to return soon."

"Colette and Jacques treated us like family. They are the most helpful and enjoyable hosts we have ever experienced. Jacques writes and speaks excellent English, too. The studio is clean, neat, and has all we needed. The home and area are quiet and secure. The is a bus stop very close, which we used, when we didn't ride the Metro from the Gallieni station. It is useful to get a large transportation map and any Metro station which has all the major bus and Metro lines and stops. There is a gigantic shopping 'mall' with a very large grocery store at the Gallieni station and a smaller grocery and bakery near the apartment. Enjoy your visit."
