  • Great location! Plenty of room!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this property! Judith was very attentive to any issues that arose. Location is convenient for all activities. Mono-Prix steps away, a bakery across the street, metro stop across the street, and around the corner. Open air market a few blocks away, and a park two blocks away. This was the perfect place to unwind at the end of the day with plenty of room for the four of us, parents and two adult children. We would definitely stay here again should we make it back to Paris! Thank you so much Sylviane and Judith! We highly recommend your pied a terre!"

  • Beyond our expectation

"We have been in Paris on five previous times but this was the first time staying in this apartment. The previous times we always rented the same apartment because we liked it so, but this year it was not available for the time frame we needed. So it was really hard to choose another apartment that could live up to our previous experience. But we are so glad we decided on this one. It turned out even better than the one we always stayed at. The owners were great to work with. The location was terrific, close to all transportation and restaurants, open-air market and of course bakeries! The apartment is big for European standards and so is the bathroom. And oh those beautiful large windows! We so enjoyed the eat-in kitchen, I actually did quite a bit of cooking in it. It's a comfortable and cozy apartment. If we are able to go again next year we will prefer to rent this apartment over the one we used to rent the previous times."

  • Everything you could want!

"We have just spent 6 weeks in this apartment and it was everything we needed: warm enough, room enough, near enough + safe and secure enough and very comfy. In fact we have no criticism - we felt at 'home'! There are three factors that were important to us - the first was space to live in rather than camp-in, the second was being able to be self-sufficient so that we could go to restaurants for fun not necessity, and the last was access to the places we might want to go to - so access to transport. With regards to space to live in; for this long a stay a studio apartment could have become claustrophobic - it was a real plus to have separate rooms - ie kitchen/dining room, lounge room, bedroom to give a sense of space. Equally if a friend had arrived there was a bed to offer! Actually friends did arrive but we never told them about that option because we were enjoying our space too much to want to share it for more than a night?! With regard to self-catering spending this much time in Paris meant that we often wanted to cook for ourselves and everything we ever needed was there, from the big things such as a dishwasher or the small but vital detail such as the cheese grater/potato peeler/bottle opener/non-stick pans +lids etc (and must not forget to mention the farmer's markets on the door-step on Saturdays and Sundays, but of course being France even the produce in the local supermarkets such as Monoprix was great). With regards to transport we could not have been in a better place (well - perhaps but not at this price!!! And not without having limitless funds and living over a taxi outlet!). We preferred to use buses because we could get a scenic view of Paris without the stress of driving, and found that the 80 bus from rue Grenelle was a wonderful link to anywhere we needed to get to. We found an overview of the bus map online and learnt to photograph the bus maps at useful bus line stops so we could always plan our journey - even late at night. The metro was equally accessible and user friendly for those with better 'joints' than our older ones! We have no hesitation in recommending this apartment - one of its other virtues is that the other apartments in the block are owned by people who 'live' in Paris and therefore we were not troubled by 'party' noise - though equally it was reasonable to be thoughtful of your neighbours."

  • Great place - No Surprises

"The other reviews here capture the spirit of this property perfectly. Read through them - we did, and were very happy with our stay. No surprises - except for the very friendly neighbors! Definitely recommend."
