"We stayed here a week with a baby and a 3 year old and had an amazing time. The apartment was roomy enough for all of us and the terrace, oh my goodness the pictures do not do justice to the terrace! The Eiffel Tower was much closer than expected and better you could see all of the Paris landmarks from the comfort of the terrace chairs. My 3 year old and I watched the Eiffel Tower sparkle every night, we bought local croissants and baguettes in quiet Montmartre and artw them on the Terrace every morning. We cooked twice and used the grocery downstairs for a
Snacks, milk and drinks. It was easy to use the subway to get where ever we needed to go, even with two kids and two strollers. We were able to leave the strollers in the lobby, so the three flights of stairs were no problem at all. We probably saw a little bit less staying up in Montmartre, but I feel like we experienced the real Paris. Cozy, comfortable, and Alexandre is easy and honest to deal with, and really cares that you have a good time. I've already recommended this apartment to all of my friends - don't hesitate if you want a true Parisian experience!"

"We booked this apartment many months in advance for its Parisian feel (apt name) and also its location. Arrival instructions were detailed and thorough and we had no trouble following them even though it was our first time visiting Paris. There were a couple of minor issues we noticed on arrival but a quick email to the owner saw a response within 20 minutes resolving the issue. The apartment is small, but has all those little touches that certainly make you feel as though you are in Paris. Everything worked with out fault with the exception of a light switch(blown bulb?). Wifi was efficient and fast, the batteries for the TV remote failed while we were there but a quick search saw replacement batteries available so all the little things were thought of. The small park opposite provides a lovely view and in the afternoons fills with the sounds of children playing after school. The fresh produce market on the footpath opposite on Fridays is a fantastic experience buying supplies. Be careful, you will buy more than you need because it is all so enticing. The location is ideal with the Metro just outside but it is also close enough to walk to other sights. We walked back from visiting the Louvre with the Hard Rock Cafe being our halfway stopover point. Some lovely arcades and streets are experienced doing this walk. We enjoyed the many local cafes, bakeries, wine shops and cheese shops close by and also supermarkets. We were afforded a late checkout but on our departure, there was an unexpected dilemma. Again, an email to the owner saw a response within 20 minutes with a resolution despite the time difference of 9 hours. Communication with the owner was very easy at all times no matter the time of day. Overall, we were very happy staying here for our first time in Paris."

"We had a wonderful stay in this apt in Paris. Paula was really helpful from our initial communication through to when we arrived and was there to meet us as promised. The apt was ideally situated in Montmatre close to the Sacré-Cœur. There was a small supermarket on one side and a patisserie boulangerie on the other where we would buy beautiful croissants and baguettes, a number of cafe's, bars and restaurants all on your doorstep. There are 3 Metro stations all within walking distance of the apt which we used daily to get into the city. The apt was clean and well equipped and overall quite spacious. The only downside would be traffic noise to the front 2 bedrooms at night as its a fairly busy road but this would not deter us from going back. We had a great time there and we look forward to our next visit."

We returned the other day from our two week vacation in France. I am rather reluctantly putting your key in the mail today, only because mailing it really truly signals the end of our most wonderful vacation, in large measure due to your great apartment in Paris.
We first spent a week at your apartment in Montmartre, that charming area of Paris with its incredible history, the beautiful Sacré Coeur cathedral, a plethora of cafés and restaurants, oozing Parisian authenticity at every turn. In order to situate ourselves, we took advantage of a couple of guided tours of the area, one we found in the “Pariscope” magazine, another through an English-speaking group we found on the internet. We found them both incredibly helpful in elucidating the history and the excitement of Montmartre and helping us to better make our way around.
Your apartment, while small, was brilliantly laid out and had all the conveniences of home. We were extremely comfortable (loved that bed and the quiet of the courtyard!) and were surprised at the general peace of the whole building. We had great breakfasts every morning (we loved those croissants from the bakery on the rue des Abbesses) and often came home in the evenings with delicacies from the local shops of liver paté, cheese, WINE, and unpronounceable French goodies. We used your microwave quite a bit and kept our goodies in the fridge. We usually had lunch out somewhere as we were exploring the capital. The proximity to the Abbesses metro station was a blessing, and we also tried a couple of the local buses which left from the nearby Place de Pigalle with that weekly metro pass which you suggested we buy.
We truly felt French as we punched in the code in the doorway as if we were natives, and as the tourists stared at us as they went by, we slipped in as if we belonged there. We truly felt we did and your apartment in great measure helped us establish that feeling. We discovered a new word on one of our guided tours: we learned that we were “Montmartrois.” Can’t pronounce it for the likes of me, but loved thinking that I took on that allure.
We went on to Provence after Paris and while we loved the countryside and the Cezanne feeling in the air, we missed the buzz and the excitement of the capital.
Thanks for all your help and guidance, too, as we were sorting through our travel plans. It was terrific dealing with you.
We shall return!!
