Our Home in Paris !
"This luxurious apartment is perfectly located in one of the most elegant & sophisticated areas of Paris. It is situated in a quiet courtyard, away from the busy streets, with its own cobbled outdoor patio where we often relaxed with our coffee and baguettes. We loved returning to peace and quiet at the end of a busy day. We appreciated the air-conditioning on both floors; this is the “proper” air-conditioning, not those noisy floor units on wheels! We enjoyed the two spacious marble bathrooms and constant hot water. The Nespresso coffee machine was used frequently & you’ll find a couple of Nespresso shops close by for further supplies. There are two excellent bakers nearby as well: Au Delices de Manon at 400 Rue St Honore and Eric Kayser at 33 Danielle Casanova. We also highly recommend for lunch or dinner (closed weekends): La Cordonnerie on Rue St Roch, where booking is advised. The shopping trolley provided was a boon; so much easier than carrying a load of bags – we took it to the Bastille Market and also the market at Ave President Wilson. We so enjoyed our recent week here & are longing to come back - we have already booked for next year!"

"This was our family's first adventure using VRBO, so while I was a bit nervous being a first time adventurer, Julia helped guide us through the reservation process and made us feel at home. The apartment was perfectly comfortable for our family of four. We never felt on top of each other. The second bedroom has a set of bunk beds that our 15 and 12 yr old were delighted to use. There was adequate kitchen space for getting making coffee to go with our morning croissant (the boulangerie is just up the street) and putting together dinner in the evening (again, stop by the boulangerie and pick up a baguette). The place is delightfully quiet at night so we could easily rest each evening after a full day in Paris. The location was perfect as it is about equidistant from two metro stops that connect you to different sides of the city (Eiffel one way, Notre Dame the other). We spend five wonderful days in Julia's apartment and would happily return in he future."

"i was travelling with my 85 year old mother so having a clean, cheery and quiet apartment was essential. The separate bedroom was perfect as our sleep schedules were not the same and it allowed me to make breakfast while she slept in. There were multiple little pastry shops, cheese shops. wine shops and groceries within a short walking distance. I felt very safe walking to them on my own regardless of the time of day or evening and despite my limited French I had no problems. The shower was ok for me but was too difficult for my mom to manage so she had to suffice with an old fashioned hand washing. Not ideal, but for a week was perfectly manageable. My favourite thing about the location was that while my mom had an afternoon nap after a morning of sightseeing, I would walk over to the Eiffel Tower with my book and sit on the grass and read and people watch. Likewise, the Musee Rodin was open until 8:45 on Wednesday nights so I walked there on my own while my mom rested. Great apartment, great location, great vacation!"
