  • Beautiful apartment, Fabulous location!

"If you are considering renting this apartment, I would whole heartedly recommend it. Laurent, the owner, is a pleasure to deal with, and was very helpful with recommendations throughout our stay in Paris. Checking in and out was very simple, and we had no problems at all during our visit. We were five total, staying in this apartment. Myself and my two daughters (8yrs & 11yrs), along with my friend and her daughter (11yrs). As two women with 3 girls, we felt safe at all times, whether leaving early or returning late. The neighborhood is fabulous! Everything you need is just around the corner-the Metro is 2 blocks away, there is a grocery store, ATMs, bakeries, restaurants, shops, a park…you are about a 3 minute walk from the Rue Montorgueil, a charming and lovely walking street. The Louvre is a pleasant 10-12 minute walk from the apt, as well. The neighborhood is not touristy, so you really get to experience Paris with a local feel. Now as for the apartment itself, I cannot say enough. It is in a very charming building, and quite pretty. We loved the steps up to the apt, and the pretty plants out front. Even the front entry door, at the street, is beautiful. Inside, the apt was incredibly clean. Not a speck of dust, even on the top shelves in the cupboards. The refrigerator looked as though it had never been used (far above hotel standard). Many of the essentials (such as toilet paper, dish/laundry soap etc.) were provided, which was very convenient. We were able to cook, do laundry, and there was even a dish washer to clean up. Also, having two bathrooms was wonderful. We were able to take 2 showers at the same time without losing water pressure or heat. The apt is very nicely furnished, and slept 5 quite comfortably. The bed linens were clean and attractive, and I have to say, the sofa bed was the nicest and most comfortable I have ever used. There is a big TV, although we didn’t use it, and there is wifi, which worked perfectly our entire stay. The apt is light and airy, with nice big windows you can open for a breeze. It was so nice to sit at the table, with the window open at night, enjoying a bottle of wine while the kids slept in the next room. This apartment really made our stay in Paris a pleasure! We were all sad to leave, and hope to come back again, some day."

  • Just about perfect!

"We spent a week in this beautiful apartment and I'd be hard-pressed to say anything negative about it. It is exactly as advertised: clean, safe, comfortable, quiet, and convenient to everything. The apartment has all the amenities one could need (washer/dryer, hair dryer, clothes iron, dishwasher). I am very sensitive to noise and really appreciated the quiet bedroom and the very comfortable king-size bed. The location is fabulous: the metro is a 2-minute walk away (and very efficient and easy to use; we never waited more than 3 minutes for a train!), Rue Montorgueil (at the next corner) has wonderful shops and restaurants, and many major sites were within easy walking distance. We loved this apartment and wished we could have stayed longer."

  • 4 Day Paris Vacation

"This great apartment was simply perfect for our Paris vacation. It was clean and comfortable for eight. Large common room and very large kitchen. Wireless internet worked great for researching our next days events. Centrally located (about 1km from the Louvre and correspondingly close to the rest of central Paris) but on a quiet street. It is also only about 1 - 1.5 blocks away from the Metro. We bought a 3 day pass and it worked out great. 2 grocery stores within a 5 minute walk was also useful. Multiple very convenient and secure electronic keys would allowed our party to split up if needed. Romain, was very helpful and helped provide transportation to and from the train station to the apt. I would definately stay here again."

Experience the Food of Paris like a Parisian

You can save a lot of money from packing your own lunches and cooking your own dinners rather than eating out every night. In addition, you won't have to deal with other tourists or with hotel staff. These 2nd Arrondissement vacation rentals just make sense.

2nd Arrondissement Vacation Apartments in the Heart of the City Let You Explore Paris Cheaply

The 2nd Arrondissement lies in the heart of Paris which puts you close to all of the main attractions. You can visit the Eiffel Tower, innumerable gardens and museums, Notre-Dame, and the Sorbonne. Paris has a fantastic metro system and with planning, one can prepare an itinerary beforehand which will cut down on any questions about what train to catch or where it goes. You visit the absolutely urbane and sophisticated Avenue des Champs-Élysées or relax in quiet reflection in the beautifully landscaped Bois de Boulogne park. If you manage to grab one of the apartments for rent in Paris, you'll be able to keep your costs low while experiencing Paris through the eyes of a native instead of a hotel bound tourist.
