Recent Paris Arr. 3 (Marais, Picasso Museum) reviews

  • Perfectly located apartment

"The apartment is in an amazing neighborhood in Paris. It was perfectly located for our stay. The place is reasonably priced, and very comfortable. It was equipped with a great number of conveniences --stove and small oven, dishwasher, washer/dryer, coffeemaker, free Wifi and a fine shower. Everything worked fine and a HUGE plus is that there is easy access to excellent bakeries, quirky little restaurants and the Metro. We would definitely return.""

  • Wonderful stay- met ALL expectations

"Writing this review 14 hours after returning home from our stay in Paris, and at Claude's lovely apartment. My wife and I had an amazing time over the last 9 days, and having Claude's apartment as our "home" was an added bonus. For anyone looking for the following attributes- economical, safe, quiet, cleanliness, and location- for your stay in Paris, this apartment meets all of those. Plus, it's actually quite large! I will caution travelers that while you can walk to several destinations throughout Paris from Claude's apartment, the Metro is the way to go if you want to save your feet! Learn it and use it! Along with all of the positives that I mentioned, I wanted to advise any potential renters that Claude is a wonderful communicator, person, and guide. She answered all of my emails (and endless questions that I had prior to arrival) in a timely and thorough fashion. She called a restaurant (on our behalf) that we had researched prior to our arrival and made a reservation for us on the date and time that we requested. She also called a museum (private tours only) for us prior to our arrival and got us a reservation! If you have any questions, she is a phone call or email away. During our stay, I would send Claude an email with a question that I had for the following day (what is the best way to get to CDG airport by metro/train). When we'd return for the day from exploring Paris, Claude had responded to my question without fail, allowing us to plan out the next morning. Merci Beau coup, Claude! I rarely write reviews- and this is also my first time renting an apartment while on vacation. We usually go the hotel route, but we realized that apartment renting is cheaper, and way more fun, so we went for it. For those of you out there who may be considering renting an apartment for the 1st time for your Paris vacation (or even if you're used to renting apartments), I promise you, you'll love Claude's place. It is very highly recommended...I wouldn't be writing this 14 hours after touching down back in the USA if it wasn't :) Thank you again for everything you did for us, Claude. You and your place allowed Summer and I to explore Paris as "locals." We couldn't have asked for anything more. I hope our paths cross again sooner than later! All the best to you... Jeff and Summer"

  • Just perfect!

"Paris is always special, but having a real home to live in the most beautiful city in the world for a few days is even more! The apartment was exactly like described. Fully equiped. Well decorated. Very practical. The location was excelent, with markets and subway station nearby. My trip would not be as amazing if I weren't there."
