  • Utterly charming

"Once you pass through the heavy street door, down a wide passageway and into the large courtyard, you leave the noise of the street behind and enter a world of green calm. The owner, M. Amsallem was extremely welcoming and obliging and really couldn't have been more helpful. The normal check-in time is 4.00 but we were able to take possession at 1.00 p.m. We were also able to leave our luggage with the concierge on the last day so we could have another few hours of sight-seeing after officially vacating the flat. The flat itself is light and airy, with high ceilings and tall windows with views onto the side street . It had everything it promised from the website. Lovely bathroom, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bed The area is one of the nicest in Paris and not crowded with lots of tourists. There are masses of places to eat and there's even a good restaurant beside the front entrance, a boulangerie for superb breakfast croissants (and lots of other tempting patisseries) about 2 mins further on and a small supermarket about 5 mins away. The Marais has lots of museums almost on the door step but just wandering around the streets, looking at the architecture and the shops is a pleasure in itself. I really can't imagine anywhere better to stay in Paris."

  • Thank you for a Lovely Stay

"The Turenne apartment exceeded our expectations. The pull out sofa beds were very comfortable, which normally is not the case. There were 6 of us and for a small apartment, we had plenty of privacy. The location was amazing. We loved our little neighborhood. Cafe's and shopping superb. Metro, bakery and market were close by. Everyone was friendly. One negative - Don't use the washer/dryer. The dryer does not work. Wash clothes by hand and hang dry. We arranged drivers through HomeAway. They were efficient and so nice. Upon arrival, we were met by a lovely young man, whose name escapes me, and he gave us a full explanation of the apartment and the neighborhood. Should we get back to Paris, we would stay in this same apartment again. It really was that great. This was a trip of a lifetime and we thank you for a lovely stay."

  • Perfectly located apartment

"The apartment is in an amazing neighborhood in Paris. It was perfectly located for our stay. The place is reasonably priced, and very comfortable. It was equipped with a great number of conveniences --stove and small oven, dishwasher, washer/dryer, coffeemaker, free Wifi and a fine shower. Everything worked fine and a HUGE plus is that there is easy access to excellent bakeries, quirky little restaurants and the Metro. We would definitely return.""

  • Perfect apartment in Paris!

"This was the perfect apartment for our summer trip with my stepson as his graduation gift! We stayed for eight days and we never got tired of being there! Once you open the windows in the front and back, the cross breeze kept the apartment nice and cool the whole time. The metro station was literally a block and a half away, a perfect walk in the morning and evenings going to and coming from sightseeing. The grocery store was close and convenient for coffee, snacks, and drinks, and you must try the bakery next to the grocery store! Fresh baguettes every morning, for a very reasonable price! The apricot and pear tart was amazing as well!! The beds were very comfortable and we loved the split plan where the bedrooms are on opposite sides of the apartment. It was the perfect location for everything we were looking for, and the owners are so pleasant and easy to deal with. Definitely recommend this place!!"
