  • Great Apartment!

"My husband and I stayed here early October for our belated honeymoon. Pascal was easy to work with and I had no concerns working with him. I felt from reading many online review that apartment was a great choice- I was right! Pascal met us at the apartment and filled us in on the details. The location of the apartment is fabulous- right down from the metro. There are great shops and restaurants all around. We frequented one on the corner each night for dessert! There are two stores very close to get food and beverage. The apartment itself was very comfortable, clean and cozy. Having a large selection of movies and English speaking channels were great after a long day of sightseeing. There were a lot of stairs to get to the apartment but it prepared us for Notre Dam! The upstairs neighbor did have a party one night and it was very loud until 3am. From the sounds it was a birthday party and we did not hear noise from them again during our visit. I would recommend this apartment to anyone and would consider staying here again if I travel to Paris. Thank you Pascal!"

  • Paris 2014

"Very comfortable apartment. We had difficulties due to the 3 flights of stairs with no lift available."

  • Great Value

"This was our first visit to Paris. 10 days to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. We wanted an apartment that was safe, clean, quiet and affordable. Given we had a limited budget, we were concerned that by spending less than the going rate on comparable units elsewhere in the city, we would sacrifice on one of the other three criteria. We were very pleased that by the end of our stay, we could honestly say that we didn't have to compromise on what was important to us. First, it is very conveniently located from a transportation standpoint. It is surrounded by 3 train/subway stations that are 1-3 blocks all very walkable. In fact, it is very easy to just take the RER(train) from the airport, transfer once, and it is only a 3 block walk from the fabulous Gare De Lyon station. No car or cab fare necessary...ever....if you are staying in the city. Even when we traveled to Versailles, it was all so easy by train/subway. The apartment itself is very clean. Small by US standards, but good for a Parisian flat, and larger than a hotel room, even if you spent 30% more. Kitchen gives you everything you need and the washer/dryer came in very handy for a 10 day stay. I personally think it would be too small to have 3-4 people, but it all depends on what your expectations are. Neighbors are quiet. On the second floor. Small elevator, but we usually just used the stairway since it was quicker. The neighborhood faces out on the canal, and this scenic pathway, lined with boats, allows you to enjoy a pleasurable stroll down to the Bastile area. In fact, a quick walk over the canal bridge brings you into the 4th arrondisement, which puts you into all of the sites and experienes one expects from Paris. There are many bakeries and numerous classic French bistros (cafes) in the surrounding area. A good sized grocery store is only 1.5 blocks distance. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the owner, Manuel. He is affable and extremely helpful. He gave us a complete orientation on the apartment, and made himself available for questions, especially in the first two days when you're just getting your bearings. He treated us well. What are the downsides of the apartment? There are windows, but no real view. If you want to be able to sit in your apartment and stare out on a lovely view of Paris, go somewhere else, but you will pay $$$ for it. We would rather visit the sites and spend the evening in the apartment."

  • As good as it gets in Paris!

"I stayed in Elegance for 17 nights in January 2015. Apartment is exactly as descriped on the website. Location is perfect and very safe, even for solo female travellers. Pascal is extremely professional and efficient, his cleaning team is also top notch, the apartment was sparkling clean when I arrived. It is truly a delight to be in a nicely equipped apartment, washer/dryer, dishwasher all worked perfectly. There is even a Nepresso machine for your first cup in the morning. I have stayed in many other apartments in Paris before but from now on, Pascal and one of his apartments will be my first and only choice. American travellers are used to life's little conveniences and Pascal really understands how to deliver. Powerful shower, plenty of hot water, proper nice fluffy bath towels, etc etc. I am extremely picky in cleanliness and I couldn't find a single dust particle in the apartment! The bed and pillows were very comfortable which is a rarity in rental apartments in Paris! Try one of his apartments and you will see what I mean!"
