  • Great appartment

" This is my second time renting from Cecile ( within 4 months. I rented one of her other appartments ("Marais Chic") last October and really enjoyed my experience, (reliable airport pick-up and drop-off service, beautiful and confortable appartment, excellent location etc...) so I contact Cecile again this time but "Marais Chic' wasn't available so I rented "Marais Elegance". As usual, dealing with Cecile is pleasant although this time there was a little confusion about drop-off service from the appartment to the train station on departure. It was advertised on website that this service is included but Cecile first asked 40 Euros for it. However, the matter was promptly corrected without any further issue. Location is great: metro is nearby as grocery shops and good restaurants. The appartment is very well kept and appointed into small details so we feel like being at home. The huge collection of travel books is great. Wi-Fi is fast and flawless. In short, this is a home away from home that I won't hesitate to reccommand to my friends/family. Comparing Marais Chic to Marais Elegance, I prefer Marais Chic because its bedding is better. More choice of pillow of various softness would be great."

  • Absolutely perfect!

"Four of us visited Paris in August. One of my friends found this gem on VRBO and it couldn't have been lovelier. The apartment was roomy and beautifully decorated. It was in a great location, a street away from a active road so traffic noises were not evident. Every morning we out to get fresh fruit and croissants to bring back home, eating while looking out the terrace to watch people in the other street. It was exactly what we wanted, a relaxing, comfortable home base from which to explore Paris. We will definitely come back!"

  • Family Spring break from Chicago

"This convenient, clean and well-equipped apartment is in the perfect location for a Great family vacation in Paris. The island is safe and lovely to walk around – – No worries for our two children and is very relaxing to come home to. The kitchen, appliances, and bathroom where all very nicely done and easy to use. The pull out coach really was comfortable and the window view to the street was sweet. Being just above the cheese shop and the boulangerie made it easy to get yummy food, waking up and walking downstairs for baguette and croissant was very convenient. And the store across the street had fruit and other necessities. The location is perfect because you can get anywhere easily. It's an easy one flight up to the apartment. It feels very secure and is centrally located in Paris. It was nice coming home to a quiet island, walking across a beautiful bridge from wherever we were. Notre Dame at night is an easy stroll, and always breathtaking. The cafés on the island were great, and there are several great restaurants and of course the famous ice cream store. We loved being there. When large groups of tourists or partygoers walk by you can hear them in the front room. Which really just adds a nice ambience to the place. In general the street is quiet and calm. And if you're in the back bedroom you can't hear any street noise, although there is a regular noise maybe from a refrigerator compressor from the cheese shop down below. I had no trouble sleeping through that. The guys who own this are very nice. I dealt with both Isaac and Sam who were very responsive and sweet. Isaac came and showed us how to use the heating, air conditioner, dishwasher, TVs, washing machine, stove, oven and music system (you can plug your cell phone in to the speakers). All very easy. We would all go back again in a second."

  • Incroyable!

"If you are looking for a wonderful place to stay where you will feel as though you are part of the neighborhood you must stay here. The apartment is very private and quiet, and beautifully furnished. We enjoyed being able to walk to the Metro, grocery store, and restaurants within literally minutes. The Seine is also a short walk away. The apartment was easy to reserve and the payment process was smooth. Marc went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. He also taught us a lot about the local history and culture. Our expectations were far exceeded. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer!"
