  • Great apartment

"We stayed here for one week and the location was perfect! We also felt very secure and safe as it was a private entrance and adjacent to a police station and to the French Republican Guard. The metro was only minutes away but we were able to walk to all the sites! The apartment itself was as pictured. Kind of small but perfect for three adults. We would definitely stay here again!"

  • Fantastic time had by ALL!

"This apartment was just perfect for us 4 adults during our stay in Paris. The owner was there to meet us upon arrival to orientate us with the apartment and even drew us a map of how to easily use the buses to get to some exciting places. He was great about letting us come by early to drop off our luggage the day of check in and also was very accommodating when we asked to leave the luggage after check out and pick it up on our way out of town. This apartment had everything. The rooms were very comfortable and clean and the kitchen had all we needed. We even had the luxury of doing a load of laundry as there is also washer and dryer there. The one shower wasn't a problem for the 4 of us since at least one of us showered at night and there is a separate toilet room. The entire apartment is very spacious and we felt like we all had plenty of room to spread out and put our feet up after a long day of walking. There was WIFI which was awesome and a TV (although we didn't use it), and if you needed to just have some space you could just retreat to one of the bedrooms. This place really felt like it was a home you could relax in. The 95 steps from the entrance of the building to the front door of the apartment could be a bit tough after a full day, but for the space and privacy once you entered, it is well worth it. Person's with physical disabilities should not consider this one with all the steps. This apartment was very close to Notre Dame and the Louvre Museum and very close to the metro and bus stops which made getting around very easy. Restaurants around the apartment were ample and quaint. There is a little market right across from the apartment that has fresh fruit and veggies and incidentals. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a very lovely, clean and convenient place to stay in Paris."

  • A great stay in the Marais, in Paris

"My partner and I stayed in this apartment for a week last October -- a week during which we felt as though we lived in Paris! Patrick is a great host, and we met the owner of the apt. who is also a great guy and let us stay a few extra hours to enjoy the day before a late plane departure. The apartment is terrific -- much better in person than the photos. Bedroom and bath are on the first level, then the kitchen, dining area and living room up one flight, which is light-filled with exposure on 2 sides -- great ventilation on warm days. The views are classic Parisian, and you can even spy the top of the Tour Eiffel! The neighborhood is fantastic -- great grocery stores and bakery within a few blocks, great cafes just downstairs, and the hustle and bustle of the main streets of the Marais are close by but just far enough away that the immediate streets are very peaceful. Some extra restaurants are also close by, as are 2 Metro stops. Overall, a great choice for your stay in Paris -- we would stay here again in a heartbeat!"

  • Fantastic experience

"My fiancee and I stayed here for a full month on an extended trip to Paris. This was our second time visiting the city and we absolutely loved this apartment. It's even prettier than it looks in the pictures. We like to walk everywhere, and the location makes doing that easy. There is fantastic food in the area. One of the boulangeries nearby has the best chocolate almond croissant I've had. Wake up in the morning and walk around before everyone else is up... it's a gorgeous part of town. Marie was in contact with us to make sure everything was working, and she has good suggestions for food. The bath tub is bigger than it looks, and definitely useful. The value you get for the price is fantastic, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here for a night or a year. It's a great base for being a tourist, but homey and comfortable enough to spend the day inside. On weekends we liked to wake up early, grab some food and wine, then open the windows and listen to the bustle downstairs with the fresh breeze."
