  • Utterly charming and well-appointed in central Paris

"My husband and I spent two weeks in Paris--our first time in Paris--staying at this lovely, clean, and charming Juliette apartment. We were amazed that you could hear no street noise at all with the windows closed. The beds were substantial and super comfortable. Lots of outlets for charging camera, etc. Very good water pressure and plenty of hot water in the 3 bathrooms (we used loft bathroom only once--for the great clawfoot tub--so soothing for tired tootsies--just watch your head with ceiling height below five feet, as the picture shows). The location is more than perfect. Not only can you walk to many top places of interest e.g. Notre Dame), but you could actually never leave the island at all, if you liked, as it has plenty of stores, restaurants, grocery, boulangerie, pattiserie, etc. Of course one MUST leave the island for the Paris experience. The walk to the Pont Marie metro stop on right bank was very convenient. We took the metro frequently...very easy to use. And the help and support of Michele and David made for an anxiety-free trip...always there to help before and during the trip. We had left a bag of purchases (art and clothes) at a restaurant in the Montmarte and David called them on our behalf to see if was still there more than a day later (when we finally remembered it) and it was! He communicated to them our plan to return the next day to retrieve it. All of Michele's advice is excellent and especially the idea to go to Café St. Regis if you arrive before check in time. Best Eggs Benedict in Paris (probably). We returned for breakfast a few more times (when not getting pastries from one of the three nearby shops). Two recommendations to pass along--We recommend Les Ombres restaurant--a roof top location with sparkling view of the Eiffel Tower and the sunset and great food. And for the best hot chocolate (in the world, IMHO) go to Angelina's and order the Chocolate Chaud Africain. It is to die for. Flagship store is on Rue de Rivoli near the Louvre, but there is also an Angelina's inside the Louvre, Palace of Versailles, and Galeries Lafayette department store in the Opera district. We appreciated having a dishwasher and a washer and dryer (two separate appliances) which worked extremely well. The apartment was exactly what we hoped for and more."

  • very nice apartment in a perfect location

"The apartment is very nice and very well equipped and furnished. The staff is polite and helpful: they solve very well any need you can have. The building is very beautiful, and very close to the metro. Wifi service is perfect. The living room is very well furnished. However, if you you sleep there in the sofa bed, in the morning some noises from the street can be annoying (garbage collection trucks, for example). In the main bedroom, the window lets some cold air get inside directly on the bed. It can be not so confortable during the winter. Consider that there is no lift so you must climb the stairs up to the third floor., but this information is very well explained on the web site, so you are supposed to know it before renting the apartment."

  • great location, clean modern charming quiet,

"We stayed in this wonderful 1 Br apartment for 5 days. The apartment which had been remodelled was tastefully decorated in an older building in the Marais district near the St Paul Metro station. It was immaculately clean with modern appliances and a very comfortable bed and cosy bedroom. It had TV, internet ant a phone to call anywhere in the EUR and even the US. It's location was very central near the Place Des Vosages, the Pompidu Center and the Picasso Museum. We had wonderful dinners in tiny nearby restaurants with sophisticated menus and excellent wines. The owner who speaks excellent English met us at the metro walked us to the apartment which was very quiet and on the premier etage. she showed us how everything worked and took my wife for a short tour of the neighborhood to point out the shops and locations of bakeries and markets. Paris was wonderful, but this aparment made our stay very special. I have already recommended it to friends and would stay here again in a heartbeat."

  • Wonderful flat with a perfect location!

"I can not gush enough about this rental. It was so incredibly perfect for our trip to Paris. Located on a busy street, HOWEVER, it faces the courtyard and we NEVER heard any street noise, only St. Paul's bell. The flat was well appointed and the bed was SUPER comfortable. There was a great bakery, wine shop and plenty of restaurants around, it was perfect. Honestly, our trip couldn't have been better. Thank you so much!"
