Very comfortable apartment in great neighborhood
"Five of us (women, 50-66) shared this apartment and using fold out furniture we each had our own bed. The pull down bed was a very creative idea and worked fine for us. We made use of the boulangeries and patisseries in the neighborhood, and each afternoon met back in the apartment to share stories over wine and cheese. We walked almost everywhere but also had quick access to the bus (right out the front door) and metro (2 1/2 blocks). We were also a half block from a botanical garden which we explored on our first day - very calming after a long flight. It was also good to come home after an evening walk in the neighborhood, to Notre-Dame, or through the Latin Quarter and have the kitchen available to brew a drink. Vilay delayed her trip so that we could meet when we moved in and was very helpful in explaining the details of the apartment. Our only recommendation to her was to add American-style living room chairs (easier to get out of) but all-in-all we had a great time in the apartment and will recommend it to friends coming to Paris."

Spacious, well-equipped apartment in a great neighborhood!
"My husband and I loved the apartment and the neighborhood. The lengthy VRBO description of this apartment gives an accurate picture of the apartment and the neighborhood. In addition you’ll find a detailed handbook offering names of local markets, boulangerie, meat markets, restaurants etc and as well as information on metro stops, taxi stands, and how-to use the appliances. The i-Pad set-up with keyboard and printer was much appreciated and helped us navigate where and when we wanted go.
Lorinda helped us get settled and offered some great suggestions and advice. We took advantage of the local markets and the modern, well-equipped kitchen to prepare several meals. The living area with a little gas fireplace and the bedroom were spacious and very comfortable. The large, warmed towels and deep bathtub were great in the morning or after a long day visiting the city.
Close to the apartment we enjoyed Le Cosi an authentic Corsican restaurant, the Irish pub Wide Open Spaces, and the small family restaurant Bistro du Périgord with specialties from Southwestern France.
Don’t miss the Musee du Luxembourg! This small museum does a great job of organizing exhibits that appeal to all audiences. You can book your ticket online and be sure to get the audioguide."

"Modern apartment in absolute heart of oldest part of Paris. Notre Dame literally at the end of the street. Wonderfully comfortable retreat after busy day touring the city. Michelle was very helpful with arrangements and suggestions to make the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for 2 couples."

"This was ous second stay (initial one in 2008, look for review) and had a great time, despite the cool and wet spring weather. It felt like coming home to an old friend! Nice to have some basic supplies in stock in the kitchen, and cooking your own meals with supplies from the nearby farmers' markets makes eating in Paris much more affordable! Loved being able to hear the Easter bells from Notre Dame!"
