Location can't be beat
"This was a great little apartment - tiny like city center apartments will be, but most everything you could want. The layout worked - toilet near the door as you come in. Nice main room (where we hung out) with one of the double beds, the table and chairs, and a little kitchen alcove. That leads to another small room with a double bed and night table that takes up all of the room, then a hall closet, followed by a bathroom with sink and tub/shower. Restaurants galore just outside the building's door. Just a couple of blocks from Saint Michel on one side and Notre Dame in the other direction. Shakespeare and Company a block and a half away. I was actually pleasantly surprised that the apartment was very quiet even while in the midst of everything (no outside windows, just nice big windows onto the interior courtyard). The two double beds were very comfortable with nice linens. (I wouldn't put even a kid on the futon for more than a night because of the size and quality of it, but we slept three between the beds very comfortably). The owners provided good information ahead of time - I suggest paying close attention to it! The instructions for getting in are detailed and correct, but challenging with a jet-lagged brain. Be aware that there is a zigzag hallway to get to the apartment door, but it took us a day to realize that there are push buttons in the hallway that turn on lighting that whole way. Be prepared to buy toilet paper, soap, etc. I didn't meet, or really communicate more than an email back and forth, with the owners, but everything was very well set up. The couple managing the property for them were prompt with answers to a question we had. I'd definitely stay here again!"

"This delightful apartment was a highlight of our Parisian adventure! My teenage daughter and myself revelled in the cosy comfort that awaited us after each day of sightseeing. Being able to cook our own meals, after wandering through the fabulous nearby markets, choosing from the best of fresh produce, was a particular delight. The location was a true bonus, being situated literally a couple of minutes walk between two Metro stations on different lines, which made it so easy to plan our outings. Having laundry facilities was also a real benefit, saving us time at the laundrette, (it's also so much cheaper!). But it was the 'home like' quality that really delighted us - lovely plates and dishes, a wonderful CD selection, books, etc - all made our stay so much more relaxed than a hotel, or a normal rental place. We couldn't recommend this highly enough, and will definitely be back!"

"We stayed at this apartment in March 2015. The place was extremely clean as well as beds and linens. They provided everything needed. As tourists with 2 kids , we were out all day, and we returned to this apartment only to rest and cook since they is everything to cook your own dinner and to clean your clothes with the washing machine. The location is indeed ideal and the rental price is correct! The apartment is right in the middle of dozens of restaurants, but the streets are pedestrian. We like the vibration of the city at night so we left the windows
open, but when you close the windows, you do not hear anything. The Metro is few feets away, easy coming from airport. a short block walk and you see Notre Dame and the Seine. We would come back at the next occasion. The host and the owner were very easy to communicate with. Merci!"

Spacious, well-equipped apartment in a great neighborhood!
"My husband and I loved the apartment and the neighborhood. The lengthy VRBO description of this apartment gives an accurate picture of the apartment and the neighborhood. In addition you’ll find a detailed handbook offering names of local markets, boulangerie, meat markets, restaurants etc and as well as information on metro stops, taxi stands, and how-to use the appliances. The i-Pad set-up with keyboard and printer was much appreciated and helped us navigate where and when we wanted go.
Lorinda helped us get settled and offered some great suggestions and advice. We took advantage of the local markets and the modern, well-equipped kitchen to prepare several meals. The living area with a little gas fireplace and the bedroom were spacious and very comfortable. The large, warmed towels and deep bathtub were great in the morning or after a long day visiting the city.
Close to the apartment we enjoyed Le Cosi an authentic Corsican restaurant, the Irish pub Wide Open Spaces, and the small family restaurant Bistro du Périgord with specialties from Southwestern France.
Don’t miss the Musee du Luxembourg! This small museum does a great job of organizing exhibits that appeal to all audiences. You can book your ticket online and be sure to get the audioguide."
