Recent Paris Arr. 5 (Latin Quarter) reviews

  • wonderful, and very special

"We - a family with three kids (4/5/7 years old), plus a grandmother - really loved the boat. The kids called it "our home" from day one on, and we all felt like that. Clean, lots of space, fully equipped, in the center of Paris, but on the river, which is very special - and very nice owners."

  • Best Location in Paris

"If you ask the locals, they will tell you the Latin Quarter is the best location to stay in Paris. Suite Florence is certainly in a great spot in the Lating Quarter. A small, quiet side-street right off of two much busier streets filled with cafes, restaurants, and grocery stores. You can easily walk to Notre Dame, the Louvre, Ille Saint-Louis, etc. If you don't feel like walking, at the end of each street you have a subway station. Additionally, you have a bike stand ON your street 50 yards from the apartment, so you can jump on a bike and ride anywhere in the city using the easy Velib biking system for 8 euros per week. The owner Florence is also very easy to deal with. Making the reservation was smooth, and she lives next door in case you need anything. Leaving the refrigerator stocked full upon our arrival was very much appreciated! There is a reason ALL of her reviews are 5 stars. Book at Suite Florence and you will not regret it!"

  • Latin Quarter Maubert Apartment

"We loved both Paris and the tjought Maubert apartment was wonderful! Large windows that looked out over the Patissier and the other small shops on Rue LaGrange. Our local contact, was most helpful and welcoming. There was a nice gift basket and flowers for our arrival. It was very easy to get to the Metro, RER and buses from the location. It truly was located just around the corner and a very short walk to Notre Dame. It felt very safe and quiet, despite its central location. We fell in love with Paris and with this apartment. Thank you Paris Perfect!"

  • What an enchanting week!

"We had never been to Paris before, and wished to have an apt. instead of a hotel as my husband has so many food allergies. The apt. was way more spacious than we expected. It was easy to cook for the 2 of us there and having a clothes washer was great. We always travel with a nightlight for washrooms, so we aren't falling. This was particularly useful here as the washroom was creatively put in on a different level. The narrow stairs up scared us the first time, but soon became a new norm and they added to the wonderful character of the building. The area was so perfect for 1st timers as we walked for miles with always architectural eye-candy flooding over us. We felt safe out on the streets even late at night as always lots of tourists about and the business owners soon got to recognize you and not try to tempt you in to their restaurants. When we wished to go farther afield, like Versailles, it was so easy to jump on public transportation. Jean Claude was so welcoming and thorough, and made it very easy for our early exit also. If we ever get back to Paris, ahhh! [too many places to see, too little time left, too little vacation funds] we would be very happy to stay here again."
