"We spent 5 nights in mid-May at this apartment. The apartment was very user friendly. There was lots of space, comfortable beds (the pull down bed was unique and practical), and plenty of hot water for showers. For those looking for some exercise, it is over 90 steps from the ground floor to this 5th floor apartment. But, for those who don't fancy the climb, it is only 2 steps to the elevator. The location is within sight of a metro stop, a short (10 minutes or less) walk to the Seine, and surrounded by cafes, restaurants, shops, and grocers. The balcony offers great views of the street and neighborhood. If you close the windows, you shut out almost all of the street noise.
The owner was very easy to work with. He provided clear instructions on how to access the apartment, made some money-saving suggestions on transportation options, and provided a detailed guide to the apartment (how to operate the appliances, tv, washing machine, etc.). It was easy to log on to the WiFi and the signal was strong. For those traveling from the US, having a telephone that could be used to make free calls back home was an added bonus. When you stay here, you are treated like a trusted friend. The flat is full of books, records, tapes, musical instruments, pictures, and unique art work. When we are next in Paris, if this property is available, we would definitely want to stay there again."
