  • Perfect apartment in Paris

"Just returned from a rather rainy weekend in Paris - the weather was awful but the apartment made up for it! It's in a fabulous location, just off the Boulevard St Michel and within walking distance of lots of cafes, shops and bakeries. We loved walking from the apartment down into the centre of Paris - passing lots of lovely shops and cafes. Getting a direct train from the airport to Port Royal station was great - from there the apartment is a 10 min walk at most, as are the Luxembourg gardens. Lots of local schools nearby - area felt incredibly safe and I would definitely go back."

  • Luxurious and Charming!

"Our family of four (2 adults with 2 kids, ages 14 & 11) were very happy in this lovely apartment for a week between Christmas and New Years. It's in a wonderful neighborhood with shops and restaurants - many were closed that holiday week but it just made us think about coming back. The Port Royal RER is only a few blocks away with access to all parts of the city but the neighborhood is also within walking distance to some great areas. The apartment itself is on the top floor a beautiful, secure building that made us feel like locals - the rooftop views were gorgeous from every window. We especially liked the Val de Grace Church at night and hearing the bells ring during the day. We also really enjoyed the spectacular Eiffel Tower light show at midnight on New Years Eve! There is so much more to this apartment than the photos can depict - it is architecturally stunning but the beautifully curated collection of art, books and furnishings is really what makes it feel special. The living rooms are very spacious and the kitchen is modern and well equipped. The beds were comfortable, especially the master! Having 3 baths (2 with toilets) was a treat, especially for a family. Upon arriving, Paul and Sylvie gave us a tour of their home and local restaurant and shop recommendations. They turned us on to a wonderful bakery on the way to the RER which we stopped at EVERY day! They are lovely people who care about their home and your experience in it. We would stay again in this, or any of their properties. Thank you Paul & Sylvie for your hospitality and giving our family a true Parisienne experience!"

  • It was so French to us.

"Our first time in Paris so we wanted to taste and feel the the heart. Our choice was made with certain apprehension as we relied on truth in reference and the actual photos however the latter was accurate as, I hope are our comments. To begin the the response to our initial request was all but immediate. It is a managed apartment and we were advised of the managers and the owners particulars. All transactions were smooth. We arrived quite late but all access codes to give easy entry. It would be better to arrive in the light. The accommodation was quaint and met our expectations, small but apparently that is Parisian. Our view is you are not here to stay in the room so quaint is good. The amenities were great. The location was just ideal. Cafes, restaurants are all around you. Supermarket within 50 metres, Metro 150 metres for Paris and both airports, Notre Dame is literally around the corner and the Seine is closer, taxi 100 metres so everything is at your call and we were so pleased with our choice. At the end of stay we were fortune enough to receive a visit from the owner, an inspiring man who took the time to talk to us and make us feel so welcome to his country. Our only negatives were the stairs were tight for luggage, but remember you are walking up history and there is a nightclub opposite where patrons love to talk about there great night. Summary, get that taste of Paris as we did and savour some oh...La La. Cheers. Thank you Claude"
