"This apartment was a great place to stay for our large extended family of 6 adults and 4 children, and we were delighted at the super location. The metro was close; and from the apartment we could walk to many favorite attractions like Notre Dame, the Seine, the Pantheon, and Luxembourg Gardens, not to mention the Jardin des Plantes literally across the street! We had fresh baguettes, meringues, and chocolate croissants from the bakery down about a block or so, and cheeses, wine and fresh vegetables from one of several small shops nearby. It had a great neighborhood feel to it.
The apartment itself was spacious and comfortable, and we especially enjoyed the nice sized living room with the large dining table. The apartment was cozy and warm despite very cold weather; the wifi worked beautifully, and the free telephone was a plus. The bedrooms were also a good size, and the beds were very comfortable. From recent pictures, it looks like several areas have been redone since our earlier stay there...carpeting, fresh paint, halls cleared and best of all.... a new beautiful tiled shower and tiled bathroom floor! We will have to make another visit soon to enjoy all the new amenities!
Since our stay was between Christmas and New Year’s, Claire and Nicolas were away, but we were greeted nicely by the cleaning lady who explained everything completely and didn’t laugh at my oddly phrased questions in bad French. I was sad not to meet Nicolas, because I have to say that he was the most accommodating and communicative home away manager I have ever encountered. He answered every inquiry immediately, with clarity and detail; and he went above and beyond when we inquired about parking arrangements for a car a family member brought, and a taxi to the airport for our departure. He not only gave us contact info for a reasonable limo service, but coordinated all the emails and arrangements.
We loved the area, the apartment, and the location, and would highly recommend it."
