"I had 2 criteria when searching apts. in the 6th district, at least a queen size bed and a bathtub- this apt meet those and more. The apt was quite spacious for 2 adults and very comfortable. The kitchen is great and we cooked in most nights as we were exhausted from sight seeing all day. Shopped at local markets and ate in cafes in our neighborhood, which there are plenty to choose from. Bedroom is quiet and the front street can be noisy with the windows open but quite good when they are closed. Everyone we dealt with from the agency was very helpful and friendly."

"Three week stay in this great apartment in Montparnasse. Metro just outside building doorway. Train station in easy walking distance. Apartment was very roomy by European standards and ample space for my husband and I to feel very comfortable. Pictures do not do justice to space and light available. Large tub with great water pressure; separate WC; very comfortable double bed with lots of closet/drawer space; kitchen is stocked for EVERY cooking need except regular oven. Sofa is very comfortable; as described, flat screen TV and working iMAC computer. The washer was great but dryer was challenging (trick is to put clothes on extra spin dry and then use more time than "typical" to fully dry clothing) We hung lots of items and worked fine once I figured it out. The apartment is secured behind coded front door and then again by key access to apartments and elevator; we used stairs often but appreciated elevator immensely at end of long day of touring or after shopping. If you are there for a while, you will discover endless treasures such as Eric Kayser Boulanger/Patissier for best bread we found in 3 weeks, Monoprix for shopping, streetside Henri's Creperie which is a delight and an institution, shopping mall across the street, etc, etc., etc. If you are coming from the USA, the food and restaurant prices will create distinct "sticker shock" so be prepared :-) Our host Bernard Testu was very responsive from the time we started planning our trip 18+ plus ago until even after we returned to the USA. Our only glitch was an issue with the Wi-Fi which was not his fault and for which he pursued a resolution as best he could. In the end, we had access to free Wi-Fi and computer and BBC TV (we watched little TV). To be honest, upon arrival, I did do a good bit of cleaning (toilet, tub, sinks) to bring up to my standards but cleaning supplies were available -- an initial disappointment (I know I am not the first to mention) but do not let it keep you from taking this lease. . The view from apartment is limited but charming: rooftops and sky; our only concern in the morning was construction noise and yapping dog on ground floor in building to right but good windows did close that out pretty well. Apartment is not air-conditioned so a fan or two would be very helpful for warm days. We were blessed with terrific weather in September and so it did get warm in the apartment in the evening. Would stay again absolutely. Contact us for more info :-)"

"The apartment was perfect and met all of our needs. We are two instructors who needed to be close to the St. John's University Paris campus. The apartment is close to two metro stops and has cafés and markets in the vicinity. It is a nice sized apartment with everything one might need. The owner and manager were very nice and easy to work with. We would recommend this apartment!"

"I'll mention the location first, since I think this may be the best location in Paris. Just a couple of blocks to Île de la Cité and Notre Dame, and another block's walk onto Île Saint-Louis. In the neighborhood around the apartment we found it an easy walk for groceries, wine and beer, the post office, and lots and lots of great restaurants and bars.
The apartment itself is as others have described. Clean, nicely decorated, and as roomy as you would expect for an old building in this location. Our group of 4 Americans used the 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms and almost every feature of the apartment.
The induction cooktop in the kitchen was easy to use, and a real pleasure with instant on/instant off heat. We had a hard time, however, using the combo microwave/convection oven. We never got the microwave to work, and only got the convection oven to come on after about 50 presses of the power button. The apartment has both a pod coffee maker and a drip coffee maker and we enjoyed those very much.
The 3rd bedroom is indeed just a small closet with a bed taking 95% of the floor space, but since you're only in there to sleep, the size isn't really a problem. It does have a window.
It's a bit of a climb up to the apartment from ground level, but if you're in decent physical shape it's not a problem at all. The self-check-in/check-out is nice, and if you carefully follow the instructions they send you, you won't have any problem getting in.
We needed to turn the heat on one of our days there (early May) and it worked fine. The apartment has lots of windows that open, so ventilation is not a problem. We had a wonderful stay in the apartment and would gladly stay there again!"
