Recent Paris Arr. 6 (Latin Quarter, St. Germain) reviews
"Spacious and lovely spot. Very comfortable couches, three bedrooms, really tastefully apportioned. Smoke free, too. Location is stellar: right near the d'Orsay and two train lines, and within walking distance of, well, a lot of stuff. There's a Velib bike station at the end of the block and a boulangerie around the corner, plus a lovely courtyard that basically eliminates nearly all street noise. You will actually want to just live here."

"This was my second stay in this studio and it remains the very best in accommodation and of course, location. I cannot imagine a stay in Paris without staying in Claude and Lucille's wonderful home for that is what it becomes for the traveller. The amenities are of the best quality and all one needs to enjoy a week or in my case, 4 weeks. Pictures do not truly reflect the environment - every consideration is given to ensure a comfortable and convenient stay. Views from the windows are enchanting as is listening to the bells from local churches. Do note though that silence is obtained once one closes the windows. Claude cannot be more helpful while ensuring his tenants have complete privacy at all times. One feels so safe in this very secure building and, Claude's support is like having a favorite uncle nearby to call upon if needed. Couldn't recommend more highly."

"Our stay was wonderful. We were four people so the two bedroom, one bathroom apartment was perfect. It was clean, had large windows and plenty of space. The kitchen had an oven, a washer/dryer, dishwasher, coffee maker and even electrical converters and adapters. The location cannot be beat. It was just two blocks from the Odeon and St. Michel metro stations, had great shopping nearby as well as great restaurants. It is a three flight walk up which really wasn't so bad. There is no air-conditioning but the weather was good and it was quite comfortable with the windows opened. I would definitely stay there again."

"We are a family of 4 that and just recently spent 6 weeks travelling through Europe. We are very particular of where we stay and booked 9 apartments based on reviews and photos. All bookings met, or exceeded our expectations with the exception of this apartment. While it is a decent apartment, unfortunately what disappointed us was the fact that the photos are not a true and recent reflection of the physical condition of the apartment as it is showing its age since the posted pictures were taken.
The main carpet is very stained, the bathroom counter laminate is chipped along the edges and one side of the press board is swelling and peeling due to water. Several of the lamps did not work, a lamp shade was burnt , drywall was cracked and pieces missing in a few areas. Upon arrival one side of the bedroom curtain rod had pulled away from the wall and was hanging; I had to take it down half way through our 1 week stay to ensure someone didn’t get hurt; in fairness to the management company upon notification they did offer to coordinate the repair during our stay. It is probably my fault for not noticing this in the apartment description but the toilet, with no access to a sink, is in a small room in the hallway. As per the photos the main bathroom with a sink and a tub, is on the other side of the main bedroom.
Instructions for all equipment is provided; it would have been helpful to have English instructions for the Oven/Microwave combo (French & German only); we were unable to use it. Not that we had time to watch television, note all channels are in French. Wifi signal is strong. For anyone with any mobility issues, due to the 3 flights of stairs and the height of the tub, this apartment is not recommended.
The apartment is secure and in a lovely part of the 6th close to shops, restaurants & the metro. The property management company is very professional and quick to answer any questions via email. It is a self checkin & check out process; you pick up & drop off the keys at a building 700 meters away via building and lock access codes. We had a car upon arrival & found it straight forward; with luggage and children it is recommended you hire a taxi as it is not close to the metro.
I would give the physical condition of the apartment a "Fair/Average" rating, but because of the excellent location I am giving it a "Good" rating as half way thru our stay we came to terms with the physical condition of the apartment."
