Great location in Paris
"We had a great 5-night stay at this apartment in Paris. The location is truly perfect - we were able to easily walk to many sights and the Metro is conveniently located. The neighborhood itself is beautiful, has lots of high-end shops and restaurants, and felt very safe. The apartment is located on a quiet side street with a beautiful big window. While the apartment itself is smaller than most North Americans are used to, Karen has done a great job organizing and decorating it so that you have everything you need. The sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable, and the kitchen was well-supplied. Having a washer/dryer in the unit was a big convenience for us. The wifi was excellent, and having Paris guidebooks thoughtfully placed in the apartment was very helpful. Karen and Chris were both very friendly and responsive before and during our stay. Great hosts! I would recommend this apartment for 1-2 people who are looking for a central location in Paris. Great value for the location!"

"We spent a week in this apartment and found it as advertised. Alain was a wonderful host, very personable and helpful with all aspects of our stay and quite knowledgeable too, a very interesting man to talk with.
The location was excellent, convenient, with a metro station across the street, walking distance from most tourist areas, safe, quiet, secure and with a small elevator. There is a grocery store a short walk away and lots of shops and restaurants. The WiFi was excellent.
Alain made arrangements for Patrick to meet us at the airport - this is the only way to arrive!
We would use it again as it is good value for Paris."

"This was our first time ever doing a home away, ever!! So we decided to take a chance in Paris. We were in this flat for about 5 nights. If you have looked online for a hotel in the same area, you would have 2 times the rate on this flat. The value is unbelievable, the location is awesome, the view is dreamy. Every hour on the hour, you can see the Eiffel Tower light up. We would have a glass of wine and look out the window at the Eiffel Tower. Safe, 2 metros stops on both sides, a shopping center across the street, grocery store down the street. Everyone in the area speaks English. Would I recommend it again...YES!! And we plan on coming back. This was the best deal of our entire trip!! Also, the owner was amazing with answering all of my questions and putting me at ease with the entire process. The property manager, was hilarious and he was very flexible in planning our arrival and he even gave us the lay of the area and places we should check out.
Without question, this place is worth it!!"

Wonderful Apartment ... but a couple of things to be aware of
"Perfect apartment .... but if you are sensitive to cigarette smoke beware. My husband and I stayed a week during the first week of September.
PROS: The apartment is lovely and just as described. It is convenient to metro stops, restaurants, and easily walking distance to many sites. It is very quiet when windows are closed. Little touches like olive oil, salt, coffee, etc make it nice. Computer to use and it worked great. Dealing with the rental company who handles this was easy; communication with them was great and that is a real plus when travelling to a foreign country.
CONS: Unfortunately, there is a brasserie a short distance below the apartment and people sit outside to smoke. Fortunately for us, the weather was cool and we did not need to open the windows. Also, it is a busy street with lots of noise. Keeping the windows closed eliminates all noise.
OVERALL: Would I rent it again? YES, during cool/cold weather. Definitely would not rent in the Summer."
