The best of everything!
"I recently rented this apartment for my family of four, two adults and two teenagers, for approximately a week. We were pleased in every way and feel fortunate to have stayed there. First of all the owners were extremely organized, responsive, and nice, before, during, and after our stay. They made the entire process easy.
More to the point, the apartment is large by Paris standards, extremely well appointed, comfortable, and charming. Simply put, it is a beautiful apartment, in a great building, in a fantastic neighborhood, within an awesome city. The location is great, being one short block to a supermarket, one block to a metro station, and perhaps three blocks to a metro station on a different line. The proximity to the user friendly metro system was a real plus.
However, the neighborhood itself has much to offer and we frequently walked to dinners or sights. Despite being close to attractions and transit the neighborhood is quiet at night. Even though the apartment is less than half a block from a major street there is no street noise, particularly at night.
Having such a comfortable and well appointed place to stay really enhanced our entire vacation. I would recommend this apartment without hesitation to anybody. We have rented apartments at destinations all over Europe and the U.S. and this is among the best experiences that we've had to date."

"My husband and I spent two very happy weeks in this studio. If you are looking for 5-star American comfort accommodations, check into hotels of this sort. This studio is a great parisian style way to spend your holiday. Great delicatessen and all sorts of goodies a few steps away. What could be better than the Grande Epicerie? Carrefour is also very close. Communications with the owner and property management was perfect. The view was beautiful. Two metro stations are less than 5 minutes away (Vaneau, Sevres-Babylone) and further on St. Placide. Studio was cozy, kitchen with enough equipment, appliances and utensils. Wifi and TV are also available. The elevator had problems a couple of times, but owner and property management went out of their way to see that such issue was solved as fast as a possible. Maybe the building management itself should be a little more firm. Rue Cherche-Midi (parallel to Sevres) is a lot of fun also, full of cafés and shops. Pastry shops all over. All in all we had a splendid time, location was awesome, customer service A+. We would gladly get on a plane tomorrow and spend long periods of time there!"

"We had originally looked at Anne Marie's other location, but she recommended this one for two Canadians who hadn't been to Paris before and were staying just a week - this apartment is central, and accessible to all the major sights. This was great advice - St Germain de Pres is within walking distance to most major sights in old Paris, incl Notre Dame, Sainte Chappelle, the Luxembourg Gardens, Musee d' Orsay, the Seine, Ile St Louis; you can even see the roof of the Louvre from the balcony. The Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe are a short Metro ride (or a long walk), as are the two opera houses. There's a market and a thousand cafés nearby, and setting up beside the open window with the lights of the Eiffel Tower flashing in the sky and the sounds of the street for a meal of bread and cheese and Bordeaux was a singular pleasure. The accommodations are spare but clean and bright and sunny, with everything we needed. I'd go back and recommend it especially to couples who want to be near the action, and like to get out and experience Paris. Thanks for the guidance Anne Marie!"

"My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our two week October stay in Paris at Alain's studio apartment on Rue de Sevres. The studio is centrally located so that we could easily walk to many places such as to the Musee d'Orsay, Musee Cluny, the Eiffel Tower, Les Invalides, St. Germain, Notre Dame, and the Seine...within a half hour. The first week we didn`t even use the subway, but the second week we did, since it was literally across the street and provided access to two lines (10 & 12).
The studio apartment was cozy and felt safe. It included necessities for fixing small meals: coffee and tea makers. a fridge, and stovetop, and microwave. All our breakfasts were in the studio. We felt at home and slept well.
Alain, the studio owner, is tres gentil--very kind, and checked in on us a few times to see how we were doing. He is very knowledgeable about the area and provided excellent recommendations for eateries...one especially, La Charrette Creole, was exceptional. Alain speaks good English and owns the restaurant in front..Les Oiseaux. It`s always busy but our apartment was in the back so you did not hear street noise.
Alain`s choice for our cab driver is Patrick, also tres gentil. He picked us up at CDG and took us back when it was time to go home. He was patient with our attempts to carry on a conversation in French, and like Alain, showed interest in our adventures.
Merci beaucoup, Alain.
Merci beaucoup, Patrick.
Your kindness enhanced our enjoyment of Paris on this mother-daughter trip."
