  • A Winner

"We stayed for 5 nights in August and had a terrific time. Echoing what others have said – the location is terrific, with a number of metro stops in close walking distance, easy food shopping (Bon Marche, a must, is just a few minutes walk away) and lots of restaurants. One other hidden bonus – it’s a 13 minute walk to Gare Montparnasse, which has express trains to Versailles, less than 15 minutes (then a 15-20 minute walk from the station to the palace itself). It’s also an easy 3 metro stop ride from the Catacombs at Denfert-Rochereau, which was one of the highlights of our trip (get there early, the line forms at 8am and by the time it opened at 10am there were probably 500 people on line, a 3-hour wait to get in). I highly recommend the Regis apartment."

  • All you need at your fingerips...

"My husband and I were extraordinarily comfortable in Thierry's Mazarine apartment. Thierry's instructions were spot-on and very easy to follow. Once we arrived, the key was in a lock box and, with the code, we were able to enter the apartment right away. Thierry met us there shortly after we arrived and showed us how everything worked. He made sure we knew how to reach him in case we needed him. I agree with the previous reviewers that the location was great and most sights were easily accessed by walking. The Saint Germaine area is so vibrant, with lots of restaurants, bistros, patisseries, and art galleries. So many things to see and do! This is basically an apartment for a couple or one person. But, we could have easily have stayed a month if we'd had the time. We genuinely hope we can return to Paris in a year and we will definitely try to secure this apartment! Thanks for everything, Thierry!"

  • Loved it!

"I rented this Rue De Buci property for a week-long girl's trip to Paris. It was wonderful! The location is great - walking distance to Notre Dame, the Latin Quarter, Louvre, Metro/RER stops. Rue De Buci itself is a lively, safe street filled with shops, bakeries, cafes, markets, and even a close-by Starbucks. You will want for nothing. The apartment is very pleasant, comfortable, and secure. (The photos are accurate.) It has vintage charm with modern updates like a large bathroom which we really appreciated since there was five of us. There is no elevator, but the hike up to our floor seemed to be part of the experience and worth our great view of the street. This is the first time that I have used VRBO and the rental process went well. Our host answered emails quickly and addressed all questions and concerns. Check-in was well organized, and we appreciated the fact that our host was available if any problems arose. And we were greeted with fresh flowers - it was such a nice personal touch."

  • Great location! Quintessential Parisian apartment!

"My husband and I were coming to Paris for a week to celebrate our anniversary. We wanted to stay in an apartment to feel more Parisian and to save money. We had never used VRBO abroad, so I had many, many questions and Nathalie, the owner, could not have been more helpful in answering them. She was quick to reply to my emails and was very accommodating. Location, location, location. The apartment location is fantastic! You are steps away from a lively intersection with lots of restaurants and cafes, yet the apartment is on a quiet street, set back in a courtyard where we always felt safe and slept well. You are also in the 6th, where everything is at your fingertips! The Seine River was a 10 minute walk away (as well as the heart of Paris). The Luxembourg Gardens are in your backyard and are a 3 minute walk away. There are several metro stops close by, which made it easy to get everywhere. The 6th is also known for amazing restaurants, which made the apartment location perfect for walking to dinner every night! (A side note, we are from Chicago, so we are used to public transportation. We took the train (RER) direct from the airport to the Luxembourg stop. It was simple, no transfers and it saved us time and money! If you are familiar with public transportation, it was a breeze!) The apartment itself is quintessential Europe. It’s small, low ceilings, but updated and has everything you need! There is a nice kitchen, large living room, an updated bathroom, and a comfortable Queen bed. The apartment was lovely, updated, clean, and had everything we needed and definitely more space than any of the overpriced hotels in Paris. Check in/check out, was super easy. We arrived early and were able to get in no problem. We would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a great Parisian experience! Thanks Nathalie! We hope to come back."
