  • Great location! Quintessential Parisian apartment!

"My husband and I were coming to Paris for a week to celebrate our anniversary. We wanted to stay in an apartment to feel more Parisian and to save money. We had never used VRBO abroad, so I had many, many questions and Nathalie, the owner, could not have been more helpful in answering them. She was quick to reply to my emails and was very accommodating. Location, location, location. The apartment location is fantastic! You are steps away from a lively intersection with lots of restaurants and cafes, yet the apartment is on a quiet street, set back in a courtyard where we always felt safe and slept well. You are also in the 6th, where everything is at your fingertips! The Seine River was a 10 minute walk away (as well as the heart of Paris). The Luxembourg Gardens are in your backyard and are a 3 minute walk away. There are several metro stops close by, which made it easy to get everywhere. The 6th is also known for amazing restaurants, which made the apartment location perfect for walking to dinner every night! (A side note, we are from Chicago, so we are used to public transportation. We took the train (RER) direct from the airport to the Luxembourg stop. It was simple, no transfers and it saved us time and money! If you are familiar with public transportation, it was a breeze!) The apartment itself is quintessential Europe. It’s small, low ceilings, but updated and has everything you need! There is a nice kitchen, large living room, an updated bathroom, and a comfortable Queen bed. The apartment was lovely, updated, clean, and had everything we needed and definitely more space than any of the overpriced hotels in Paris. Check in/check out, was super easy. We arrived early and were able to get in no problem. We would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a great Parisian experience! Thanks Nathalie! We hope to come back."

  • A treasure in the heart of St. Germain

"We are two couples who stayed in this apartment for 12 nights. We found that the photographs understated the size of the apartment, especially the living and dining areas. We enjoyed the layout and equipment in the kitchen, even the induction stovetop. There is no microwave but we were able to reheat foods in the oven on the few nights we decided to shop at Bon Marche and eat in. Our hosts were delightful. Everything in the apartment worked as promised. The location is wonderful with easy access to markets, restaurants, transportation by bus and metro and the Luxembourg gardens. We found the apartment to be good value for the rate charged, especially when compared to hotels in the neighbourhood. We would certainly recommend this apartment."

  • Christmas in Paris

"My husband and I spent the Christmas holiday in Paris. We chose the apartment for the location and we were not disappointed. We were able to walk everywhere. We used the apartment as our home base while we did side trips and easily caught the train to London and Bruges. The stairs were an adventure but I didn't feel guilty having a croissant every morning knowing I would climbing them a couple of times a day. Other than getting your luggage up and down they were not a problem for us. I would recommend using the car service they recommend to and from the airport. It is much easier than the train or taxi."
