Perfect location, compact apt with everything you need
"My boyfriend and I stayed in this apartment over a long new years' weekend. We never used a taxi, you can walk everywhere from here. Ten min walk to Musee D'orsay, shopping in Saint Germain, Pont Neuf, the Louvre. The apartment is small, but coming from NYC we are used to that. The bed is comfortable, and having a small kitchen makes all the difference when you want to have a leisurely morning with some coffee and pain au chocolat that you picked up the evening before from a bakery. Anne was very easy to work with, we handled everything via email. I strongly recommend this as an alternative to a hotel room - you will get more room than a hotel room and more flexibility with a small kitchen. Perfect for a couple."

"My husband, 15 yr old son and myself returned recently from Paris. It was our first time renting an apartment anywhere and I had my doubts about trusting it all to be legitimate. Not only was the apartment as good as it looked in the photos, Gilles and Pierre were so helpful from timely email responses to Pierre arranging for a car service from the airport. Pierre met us during the week but gave excellent instructions on the phone when we arrived about how to work anything we had a question about. The location was so nice, we walked everywhere; Luxembourg Gardens is a stone's throw away, the Louvre a 10 min walk, Notre Dame, even to the Eiffel Tower. There was something so wonderful about renting the apartment, buying some groceries in the neighborhood and setting out on adventures every day from what felt like home instead of an hotel room. The second floor location was very nice, not many steps and there is an elevator for initial luggage deposit thought that's the only we used it. We hope to return, my son loved the pull out sofa's comfort and the apartment has been very nicely updated. Morning walks to get croissants and other bakery items was a way of life I wish we had here."

"My husband and I just returned from a wonderful visit to Paris. Having this apartment to stay in really added to the trip. It is very conveniently located. We walked almost everywhere. There are great restaurants and shops just down the street. The apartment was very comfortable, very nicely appointed and quiet. The next time we come to Paris we will plan our trip around being able to stay here. Cecile was very pleasant to work with. Also, Cecile recommended a driver to pick us up at the airport. Chafik was right on time and a very nice guy.
Thank you, Cecile."

Repeat visitors -- love the tapestry and the apartment
"My husband and I returned a few weeks ago from our 7th stay (in the last eight years) in Fabrice's wonderful apartment: we have stayed in four other apartments in Paris (twice in larger places with other people, once elsewhere when this was booked, and once in his other apartment) but keep returning to Fidelio because we love it. Yes, the mattress is very firm but we bring a flat sheet for cover and layer the blanket, duvet, and quilt and we are fine. The bathtub is the perfect size and shape for me and the slope at the back makes it extremely comfortable for a nice relaxing soak! Never had a problem with a lack of hot water. We cook often and the kitchenette is well equipped (like the new microwave!). The washer/dryer is a great help. There are shelves of books -- helpful and interesting. The air conditioner keeps the apartment cool in the summer and the heater keeps it comfortably warm in the winter. Be aware that there are stairs: 45 up to the apartment in addition to the 83 up from the Metro, but that helps balance out all the lovely Parisian pastries! And, yes, there are timed lights on the stairs, one switch is just by the apartment door. We love the area: only a very short walk from the Saint Michel RER station (great if coming from Orly or CDG) and the Metro (if coming from Gare de l'Est). There are numerous restaurants, creperies, and bakeries a short distance away and a Monoprix within easy walking distance. Notre-Dame, St.Severin, and Cluny are all close by. In addition to all of this, Fabrice is very charming and helpful. Need I say that we plan to keep coming back!"
