A beautiful, quiet gem
"This apartment is perfect. It's beautiful, fully stocked with washer, dryer, dishwasher, etc. The kitchen is pretty big, with a breakfast-bar-type-thing, which opens onto the living room. Extremely genial and friendly feeling. The ceilings are beautiful old wood beams. Everything is in tip-top shape and the building itself is right out of the 18th century -- when you walk in, a statue of a woman holding aloft a lamp greets you as you enter the cobblestone courtyard. The managers are also friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The neighborhood couldn't be better, and nearly everything you'll want to do is walkable."

"Fantastic location! Apartment completely as pictured. We stayed here for 10 days in late October and enjoyed the comfort of our home away from home, ready access to the Monoprix, easy walking distance to the sights and sounds of Paris, and extensive selection of dining opportunities. Hope to be able to return to 56 rue Bonaparte again!"

"We recently stayed here for more than a week in July. The apartment is small but very efficient. The small washer/ dryer was very useful for my two girls and WiFi was just awesome. There were three of us and the bed and pull out sofa were great. The small steps and winding staircase is daunting at the beginning but we quickly got used to it. Perfect exercise after a great meal. The neighborhood restaurants are unbeatable. We walked to St Michel's neighborhood one night for dinner and the girls quickly changed their mind and we walked back to our lovely St Germain area. Their words "Our area has fresher and higher quality food".
I love hearing the cathedral bells (I think it's from Notre Dame) ringing each morning as I seat looking out the window watching St Germain wake up while sipping my morning coffee.
I am already dreaming of my return trip!"

"We had a great 5-night stay at this apartment in Paris. The location is truly perfect - we were able to easily walk to many sights and the Metro is conveniently located. The neighborhood itself is beautiful, has lots of high-end shops and restaurants, and felt very safe. The apartment is located on a quiet side street with a beautiful big window. While the apartment itself is smaller than most North Americans are used to, Karen has done a great job organizing and decorating it so that you have everything you need. The sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable, and the kitchen was well-supplied. Having a washer/dryer in the unit was a big convenience for us. The wifi was excellent, and having Paris guidebooks thoughtfully placed in the apartment was very helpful. Karen and Chris were both very friendly and responsive before and during our stay. Great hosts! I would recommend this apartment for 1-2 people who are looking for a central location in Paris. Great value for the location!"
