Nest away from home!
"What a joy to find a nest away from home that gives you so much pleasure. Lovely quiet neighborhood, charmingly furnished pied-a-terre with thoughtful additions like books and maps of Paris, new appliances, and close to metro, bus and taxi stands. And the shower in the bathroom is outstanding!
This is our third stay, and we look forward to many more."

"My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our two week October stay in Paris at Alain's studio apartment on Rue de Sevres. The studio is centrally located so that we could easily walk to many places such as to the Musee d'Orsay, Musee Cluny, the Eiffel Tower, Les Invalides, St. Germain, Notre Dame, and the Seine...within a half hour. The first week we didn`t even use the subway, but the second week we did, since it was literally across the street and provided access to two lines (10 & 12).
The studio apartment was cozy and felt safe. It included necessities for fixing small meals: coffee and tea makers. a fridge, and stovetop, and microwave. All our breakfasts were in the studio. We felt at home and slept well.
Alain, the studio owner, is tres gentil--very kind, and checked in on us a few times to see how we were doing. He is very knowledgeable about the area and provided excellent recommendations for eateries...one especially, La Charrette Creole, was exceptional. Alain speaks good English and owns the restaurant in front..Les Oiseaux. It`s always busy but our apartment was in the back so you did not hear street noise.
Alain`s choice for our cab driver is Patrick, also tres gentil. He picked us up at CDG and took us back when it was time to go home. He was patient with our attempts to carry on a conversation in French, and like Alain, showed interest in our adventures.
Merci beaucoup, Alain.
Merci beaucoup, Patrick.
Your kindness enhanced our enjoyment of Paris on this mother-daughter trip."

"After several trips to Paris and staying in several different hotels, we decided to try an apt. It was absolutely perfect for 2 couples. The location can't be beat, close to Metro Stations, La Bon Marche ( for shopping), and bistros for wonderful Parisian food & wine! The owner, Anne, is a lovely lady, helping us with arrangements, meeting us at the apt, and thoroughly going over all aspects of the apt, and all the amenities! It was so nice to come "home" every night and enjoy a glass of wine while reviewing all the photos we had taken. So much nicer than being in a small hotel room! This is a perfect place to stay, especially for 2 couples. I am looking forward to our next visit to Paris, and staying again in this wonderful apt! No more hotel rooms for us!!"

"I rented this Rue De Buci property for a week-long girl's trip to Paris. It was wonderful!
The location is great - walking distance to Notre Dame, the Latin Quarter, Louvre, Metro/RER stops. Rue De Buci itself is a lively, safe street filled with shops, bakeries, cafes, markets, and even a close-by Starbucks. You will want for nothing.
The apartment is very pleasant, comfortable, and secure. (The photos are accurate.) It has vintage charm with modern updates like a large bathroom which we really appreciated since there was five of us. There is no elevator, but the hike up to our floor seemed to be part of the experience and worth our great view of the street.
This is the first time that I have used VRBO and the rental process went well. Our host answered emails quickly and addressed all questions and concerns. Check-in was well organized, and we appreciated the fact that our host was available if any problems arose. And we were greeted with fresh flowers - it was such a nice personal touch."
