A wonderful historic Parisian apartment in a remarkable position
"We rented this apartment over Christmas and New Year period 2014/5 for a wonderful family holiday in Paris. The position is fabulously close to the Seine and within 5 minutes walk of Metro, a brilliant St Germain food market and dining/shopping area and top sites like Pont Neuf and Notre Dame. Importantly the apartment is safe and secure and whisper quiet at all times. The building itself is an historic mansion (seventeenth century) with courtyard and the apartment fully equipped, homely, clean and very comfortable. Delphine, the host, is friendly, warm and helpful.
We have no hesitation in recommending this apartment, remembering that due to the building's age there is no lift - so important that all occupants are comfortable using the stairs (up 3 stories). It was our privilege to stay here and we leave with beautiful memories. Merci"

"We had a great 5-night stay at this apartment in Paris. The location is truly perfect - we were able to easily walk to many sights and the Metro is conveniently located. The neighborhood itself is beautiful, has lots of high-end shops and restaurants, and felt very safe. The apartment is located on a quiet side street with a beautiful big window. While the apartment itself is smaller than most North Americans are used to, Karen has done a great job organizing and decorating it so that you have everything you need. The sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable, and the kitchen was well-supplied. Having a washer/dryer in the unit was a big convenience for us. The wifi was excellent, and having Paris guidebooks thoughtfully placed in the apartment was very helpful. Karen and Chris were both very friendly and responsive before and during our stay. Great hosts! I would recommend this apartment for 1-2 people who are looking for a central location in Paris. Great value for the location!"

"This apartment was terrific - central location, close to shopping and restaurants, close to metro, and within walking distance to most major attractions. It's bright, clean, and felt more spacious than I expected.
The apartment is on the top floor and the stairs could be a challenge after a long day of walking, which is definitely something to consider.
Anne-Marie was very welcoming and had lots of advice and recommendations as to where to go and restaurants to eat at. Although the internet wasn't working during my stay, she was very accommodating and offered to print out anything that I may need.
I had an amazing time and as a solo traveller this apartment made me feel comfortable and at home. Without a doubt, I'd stay here again.

The Perfect Small Apartment in the Center pf Paris
"Our three-week stay in the apartment at 26 rue du Dragon was a joy. The apartment is small, but it was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. It was particularly helpful to have a washing machine in the apartment, even though we needed to dry the laundry on a rack (provided). The bed was comfortable, and all the fixtures and the WiFi worked well. The apartment was very quiet and private, well away from the street.
While the apartment itself is excellent, the location is superb. It is a short walk to each of three different Metro stations, with direct access to three different lines. It is also within walking distance of many of the most visited attractions of Paris and many top notch restaurants. And not least, an outstanding bakery is directly across the quiet street! So, if the apartment seemed a bit small at times, it was perfect for our stay in Paris, and just what we had hoped for."
