Perfect in Paris
"The location of this flat could not have been better, it was close to everything.
My wife and I like to walk and we could walk all over Paris because of the location.
The apartment itself was the perfect fit for two people.
We would definitely look at renting this place again when we return to Paris."

"My husband and I stayed in this quaint apartment for our second stay in Paris. The location can not be beat. We walked or biked to most destinations. If it was a little further, we hopped on the Metro. The velib and metro station is a quick 5 minute walk from the apartment. Just down the street is the Rodin Museum. It is a quick walk to Invalides and a 10 minute bike ride to the Eiffel Tower. The apartment also has a washing machine and clothes dryer which made for very easy and light packing! We will definately stay here again during our next stay in Paris. Martine was a pleasure to work with and answered all of our questions prior to our arrival very promptly.I highly recommend this apartment."

"Relatives & I had an absolutely wonderful Paris stay at this St. Germain apartment on a small street in a perfect area. Metro stops all around, but the best bonus was the ability to walk almost everywhere. No need for public transportation at all! The area is surrounded by historic sites, plenty of markets (outdoor & traditional), shopping of all kinds, & a variety of restaurants & bistros, all offering fabulous food at reasonable prices. The apartment was quite comfortable (sleeping 4) with room to relax in the combined kitchen/living room area. Appliances were suitable, however, there was no traditional oven to speak of; rather the apartment has a combo microwave/over - a bit fiddly to operate. Though on a moderately quiet street, the apartment does face a bar & restaurants, but noise is kept to a minimum after a certain hour. We were overall pleased with this clean, tidy, safe apartment, would stay there again, & recommend it to people who are looking for convenience."

great choice for feeling like a Parisian for a few days
"Having been to Paris a few times, we wanted to stay in a quiet residential neighbourhood and feel like a local so decided to rent this place. The apartment is in a very nice and safe neighbourhood with plenty of choices for shopping all sorts of things (from clothing to food to flowers to specialty items). If you are on a culinary mission, this is the place to be to shop like a local from the many stores nearby (from caviar to cheese to pastries, etc..). There are also many cafes and restaurants to choose from. It is a decent walking distance to many of the major sights (20-30 minutes) and a 5-7 minutes to the metro or bus station.
The apartment is a good size for Paris standards and well maintained. Xavier was very responsive to emails. He was there to welcome us and show us the apartment and came early on Saturday to get the keys as we were leaving on an early morning flight which we appreciated.
The street can be busy and noisy especially on Friday and Saturday evenings with many out on the street until the wee hours singing after having many drinks but I guess this is the case for most streets in Paris.
I also would have preferred not to worry about the housekeeping before leaving (such as emptying the garbage, taking the bed linen out, sweeping the floors) as this is what I would expect to be covered in the cleaning fee. One less thing to worry about when you pack.
Despite all that, I would consider renting the apartment again on my next visit to Paris.
What I liked about the apartment:
- nice neighbourhood
- decent space (for Paris standards)
- quiet building
- local calls available from the home phone
- safe to keep your valuables (although as I said it is a very safe area)
What can be improved:
- internet connection (was sketchy at times)
- cleaning requirements at departure"
