great choice for feeling like a Parisian for a few days
"Having been to Paris a few times, we wanted to stay in a quiet residential neighbourhood and feel like a local so decided to rent this place. The apartment is in a very nice and safe neighbourhood with plenty of choices for shopping all sorts of things (from clothing to food to flowers to specialty items). If you are on a culinary mission, this is the place to be to shop like a local from the many stores nearby (from caviar to cheese to pastries, etc..). There are also many cafes and restaurants to choose from. It is a decent walking distance to many of the major sights (20-30 minutes) and a 5-7 minutes to the metro or bus station.
The apartment is a good size for Paris standards and well maintained. Xavier was very responsive to emails. He was there to welcome us and show us the apartment and came early on Saturday to get the keys as we were leaving on an early morning flight which we appreciated.
The street can be busy and noisy especially on Friday and Saturday evenings with many out on the street until the wee hours singing after having many drinks but I guess this is the case for most streets in Paris.
I also would have preferred not to worry about the housekeeping before leaving (such as emptying the garbage, taking the bed linen out, sweeping the floors) as this is what I would expect to be covered in the cleaning fee. One less thing to worry about when you pack.
Despite all that, I would consider renting the apartment again on my next visit to Paris.
What I liked about the apartment:
- nice neighbourhood
- decent space (for Paris standards)
- quiet building
- local calls available from the home phone
- safe to keep your valuables (although as I said it is a very safe area)
What can be improved:
- internet connection (was sketchy at times)
- cleaning requirements at departure"

"Nice cozy place for a single person. Very convenient location; less than 10 minutes walk from the La Tour Maubourg Metro, a 5 minute walk from the Rue Cler market area, and 10 minute walk to the Air France bus to the airports. Grocery stores are a two minute walk away. Even a Starbucks in the neighborhood!
Apartment furnished with all the details; two sets of towels, an American style coffee maker (along with some filters), all the dishes, utensils, hair dryer, toaster, etc to make your stay comfortable. Bathroom is of adequate size and has updated fixtures and a rather roomy shower. Cable TV with the BBC and some other english speaking channels, and the wifi works well. Apartment is on the ground floor off a little courtyard and is quiet.
Olivier is very helpful with things in the apartment and suggestions about where things are in the neighborhood.
This apartment deserves serious consideration for your stay in Paris."

"This last trip to Paris was a very special one for me. I was celebrating a big birthday, 40, and I was bringing my 8 year old son to Paris for the first time. I wanted to stay somewhere amazing, with a view of the Eiffel Tower. That was a must. The Bordeaux was more than I could have imagined. Not only was it as beautiful as the pictures, it had every amenity you could ever want and the location was perfect! The convenience of having an entire apartment when traveling with kids is huge! I can't underscore that enough. Lucas didn't love all of the French food so it was great having a kitchen to make him meals. His favorite feature of the apartment was seeing the Eiffel Tower from every single window. At night, he wound stand by the window in his pj's and watch the light show :o). I would absolutely stay in this apartment again. It felt like a home away home."
