Recent Paris Arr. 7 (Eiffel Tower, Orsay, Rue Cler) reviews
"My family of four had a great time staying at this apartment for four nights in August of 2015. The apartment was very neat and comfortable, with nice amenities and air conditioning units in each room. The location was excellent. There is a nice restaurant just down the street, a supermarket around the corner, and it is a short walk to the Eiffel Tower and other attractions."

"This little studio is in the absolutely best location. Quiet, clean and completely stocked with all essentials. The lady who greets you is so nice and helpful and will direct you to the nearest, huge grocery (alimentaires) store on Rue de Rennes, a 5-minute walk (take your own plastic shopping bags or be charged small amount for theirs). Apartment is steps from Hemingway-frequented brasseries, as well as movie-houses and all sorts of fine shopping stores on Blvd St. Germain. Taxi stand at corner of street to the right on the Blvd., as well as buses and metros, all handy on the Blvd. An easy slow stroll to the Seine and the Pont des Arts. The apartment is small for two people, but adequate. Bathroom is tiny, so one must dress in the main room. Overall, a fine little base for seeing lovely Paris!"

"Near the Seine, Rue Cler's shops, the bus, the Metro and even well located for those who prefer to walk, this tidy, contemporary apartment with great views over a safe, beautiful neighborhood has everything independent travelers might want. Didier is a kind and responsive host who cares well for the apartment as well as his guests. Air conditioned. Small but well-designed kitchen is perfect for those who enjoy daily shopping in nearby markets. Murphy bed makes efficient use of the space and is quite comfortable. There's an elevator, but still some stairs to climb, possibly a challenge for those with physical limitations or heavy luggage. We're in our 60s, and absolutely loved it! Hope to return one day."

"i was travelling with my 85 year old mother so having a clean, cheery and quiet apartment was essential. The separate bedroom was perfect as our sleep schedules were not the same and it allowed me to make breakfast while she slept in. There were multiple little pastry shops, cheese shops. wine shops and groceries within a short walking distance. I felt very safe walking to them on my own regardless of the time of day or evening and despite my limited French I had no problems. The shower was ok for me but was too difficult for my mom to manage so she had to suffice with an old fashioned hand washing. Not ideal, but for a week was perfectly manageable. My favourite thing about the location was that while my mom had an afternoon nap after a morning of sightseeing, I would walk over to the Eiffel Tower with my book and sit on the grass and read and people watch. Likewise, the Musee Rodin was open until 8:45 on Wednesday nights so I walked there on my own while my mom rested. Great apartment, great location, great vacation!"
