Recent Paris Arr. 7 (Eiffel Tower, Orsay, Rue Cler) reviews

  • Excellent option in the 7th

"Comfortable, quiet and modern apartment in a small street in the 7th arrondissement. Everything worked properly: hot water, wifi, TV with CNN and BBC, and even a phone that makes free calls to land lines abroad. Clean residential building with 2 working elevators and concierge. Two supermarkets around the corner; 4 outstanding boulangeries less than 2 blocks away; and more gourmet and wine shops than you could handle if you stayed for a year. Bus and metro stops nearby. This is a great base to enjoy Paris."

  • Great location!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Christophe was very helpful. The apartment even has a laminated map detailing restaurants and businesses in the area. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean and in good order. If I could make one teeny tiny suggestion - a comfy place to sit would have been welcome at the end of a long day of touring. The kitchen chairs and plastic molded "rocking chair" are straight and hard. The only other option is to sit on the bed which is a bit awkward. And this suggestion is NOT a criticism because we loved the place. We loved the neighborhood and proximity to the metro. We appreciated Christophe's assistance in helping us secure a ride back to CDG. We hope to return soon."

  • Perfect location

"My husband and I stayed in this quaint apartment for our second stay in Paris. The location can not be beat. We walked or biked to most destinations. If it was a little further, we hopped on the Metro. The velib and metro station is a quick 5 minute walk from the apartment. Just down the street is the Rodin Museum. It is a quick walk to Invalides and a 10 minute bike ride to the Eiffel Tower. The apartment also has a washing machine and clothes dryer which made for very easy and light packing! We will definately stay here again during our next stay in Paris. Martine was a pleasure to work with and answered all of our questions prior to our arrival very promptly.I highly recommend this apartment."

  • Comfortable studio in excellent neighborhood

"What could be better than having a personal tour of the surrounding neighborhood upon arrival, complete with restaurant recommendations?!? Chris was a pleasure to interact with, from inquiry through arrival/departure. We enjoyed meeting and getting to know him; and he gave us a walking tour of the immediate neighborhood upon our arrival. The Boulangerie Room is located on a quiet street in a lovely local neighborhood--ideal for those who wish to be a pleasant walk from the Eiffel Tour, yet away from the crowds. We had dinner at a different nearby restaurant each night of our stay, all of which were within a 5-10 minute walk. Transportation to and from the apartment (arriving from Versailles via RER train and Metro, and departing to CDG airport via the same) was easy, with the Boucicaut station right around the corner. The bed was very comfortable and kitchen was adequate for light meal preparation, though the nearby restaurants were so good that we ended up eating all of our meals out anyway! Thank you for your excellent hospitality, Chris, and we hope to return to Boulanger Room on a future trip to Paris."
