Beautiful Oasis in the Heart of Paris
"Stayed in this very elegant 3 bedroom apartment with my wife and three children for one amazing week. The apartment is simply gorgeous. First floor location makes it very convenient and gives you access to a private japanese garden that is a remarkable asset in busy Paris. Had wonderful French breakfasts there every morning with the family in total peace and spent one night entertaining family in the garden. The apartment is very quiet, very private, and well equipped. Washer, dryer, linens and towels. Everything is first class and demonstrates the owners very refined and cultivated tastes. Location is amazing. Ile St Louis is a tiny island in the heart of Paris that makes you feel like you are in a small and quiet village with stores offering the best breads, pastries, produce, cheeses, meats, and of course, ice cream. Metro is very close, Left Bank and the Marais are on either sides of the Ile just across a bridge. I am so happy we found this apartment and cannot imagine anyone would have a moment's regret with it. I have travelled considerably and have high expectations and we definitely hope to make it back there next time we are in Paris. Thank You Alina!!"

"My family of 4 (2 teens & 2 adults) rented this apt in the 6th arrondissment of Paris for a week. We are not a picky family when we travel and we travel internationally often. This flat is an excellent value for the location. The location is ideal. You are 1/2 block from the Seine. This was my 4th visit to Paris, but a first for our kids, so we wanted something central and that it was. You are literally next to the Saint Michel metro stop, which is direct RER B line to CDG and Gare du Nord (convenient, as we flew into CDG and took train trips from Gare du Nord. The surrounding Latin Quarter is my favorite place to stay. You are walking distance or a metro ride away from everything. We found it roomy enough for our family, as we were rarely "home" during the day. Photos are very accurate, plenty of hot water, comfortable bed, quiet, tons of storage space, tons of stores & restaurants around the corner, adequate kitchen for our need of just having breakfast, but one could do basic cooking. Only 1 flight up and we didn't find stairs an issue at all, but we are fit. We even left the apt for a night to go to Normandie and we had no problems leaving our things. Marie was professional, kind and prompt with correspondence. Emilie who was at the apt to meet us spoke to us in a lot of french, as I said I spoke a little from college, but she was able to also explain things in rudimentary English. Only con would be we had a hard time figuring out how to get our wash dry completely in the combo washer/dryer; however, not a big deal, we just laid out to finish drying when we were enjoying Paris! We would rent again. Merci Marie!"

Everything you need in an apartment and a great neighborhood
"The Marais District was an excellent area to stay and the Beauce apartment was perfect for us. As other reviewers wrote, everything one needs was provided and exactly as described. We appreciated the comfortable bed with good linens, plentiful hot water, the nice wine and snacks on arrival, the free wi fi, and the iphone that helped us to negotiate the streets and answer questions we had. (Who built the Louvre? What Loire Valley tours are available?)
The apartment looks out over a street without traffic and is steps away (20 yards maybe?) from a major street. When we closed the easy to work shutters outside the window the city traffic noise was minimal and contributed to a good night of sleep. We used the stairs to help burn those bread and cheese calories but the elevator worked well.
The neighborhood had everything we needed from a complete grocery store around the corner to great restaurants to a myriad of specialty stores. And when touring some of the most popular sites, we looked forward to returning "home" to our charming neighborhood away from the multitude of tourists.
Steve quickly answered email questions before and text messages during our stay. Elizabeth met us when we arrived. She was friendly and helpful answering questions that we didn't know we'd have and reminded us that she was available to answer queries during our stay. She took us out into the neighborhood and pointed out the best options for shopping, transportation and some historic venues.
Throughout our stay we often remarked how happy we were to not be in a hotel. A sincere THANK YOU to our hosts. It was a wonderful stay and we hope to return some day."
