Great apartment in a great location in a great city - wonderful memories!
"My family - a group of 6 with young adults - stayed at 13 Rue Beranger for a week. Booking a temporary residence for a first time visit creates anxiety and doubt if the property is real or not. After several interactions with various individuals and other apartments, we came across the Enfants Rouge location and Gaela. Gaela was responsive and patient during my question period, and handled the financial transactions herself. After the booking, the pre-travel correspondence with Gaela was excellent, as she provided an online guided tour of the property and introduction to all the amenities. This was truly indicative of the care taken after the reservation, the private car picking us up at the airport, and the ongoing care after our arrival. The apartment was exactly as shown and we felt comfortable and safe in the area. We explored Le Marais and the suggestions provided by Gaela. The cafes and restaurants were fantastic and never disappointed us as the people were polite and the food and drink excellent. We would recommend L'Aller Retour for an excellent steak; Chez Leons for mussels and Les Vitelloni for pasta. L'As du Falafel is another recommendation near the apartment - eating on the street and taking in the excitement in this part of Le Marais was memorable. Metro stops nearby at Repulic and Temple provide great and simple access to any part of Paris. Visits to La Defense, Montmartre, Place de la Concorde, the fashion district, and many hidden treasures found by just walking around, made the trip memorable. Thank you Gaela for a great stay in a beautiful city. We will be back!"

"Four of us stayed, two adults 16 and 9 year old. We loved the location and the apartment. It is as advertised. The upper bed is not for the claustrophobic but the bed was comfortable. We adults slept well in bigger bed on main level. We enjoyed the activities of the street but did have to shut the front windows at night a few times as there is a student oriented bar across the street. Cannot beat the location and everything you need is nearby. Ofer and Caroline do nice job. We would stay here again, it was a great vacation."

Lovely, spacious, personal, sophisticated, peaceful home in Paris
"My husband, two teenagers (14 & 16) and I stayed in this beautiful home for 4 days in mid-July '15. We were blown away by the space (in Paris!!) for all of us and the tastefulness of the very personal design of this home. THIS place is how you decorate with your collections! The space in this home and the fantastic kitchen made it a pleasure to get up and go each morning - no stepping on top of each other for bathroom space; a cinch to throw together a nice breakfast and eat it in a comfortable way - and then a perfect place to come back to after a long day of tromping around in the hustle-bustle of the city. The courtyard kept all street noise at bay, and we could all retreat to our own comfortable spaces for a bit of respite, before going out again in the evening to explore or hit any of the great recommendations Annette thoughtfully provides. I felt happy and inspired in Annette and Luc's special home and would love to go back again some day. I would not return in the summer, however. All of Paris was suffering in the great heat of the week we were there, but in spite of the fans kindly provided, the upper, bedroom floors were terribly hot in the evenings, as despite fantastic windows, there is little to no cross ventilation. This was a problem for us. One more note, as the previous reviewer mentioned, the beautifully maintained old floors can be quite slippery in the requested stocking feet, and all of us slipped and slid a bit. With no handrails on the stairs, this might definitely be a concern for seniors or small kids. With these notes in mind, I would not hesitate to return to this very special home in Fall, Winter or Spring, and have already recommended it very enthusiastically to friends and family."
