Lovely apartment with courtyard
"We would highly recommend Phillipe's apartment; it was very clean and set in a lovely little courtyard that was very quiet. Phillipe has so many important details included such coffee machine, washing machine, hair dryer, plenty of water in the fridge on arrival. The location is very central for sightseers and close to many restaurants and shops. Phillipe was exceptional to deal with, providing a very high level of service. It was a fantastic experience for us."

"We stayed in this apartment June 6-13, 2015, and had a wonderful stay for the 4 of us, including two children (17 and 13) who would not sleep in the same bed. Manuel actually included a blow-up air mattress for my son so we had 3 separate beds. It is not a huge apartment, but it is honestly much nicer than the photos portray, and unbelievably economical relative to the prices you could pay in Paris. Manuel, the incredibly kind and generous owner, was fantastic. He actually met us at the airport and transported us to the apartment for a very modest fee. I honestly can not remember the cost, but I do recall it being less expensive than any other option. Manuel took great care of us during our stay, including coming back the next morning to deliver an air conditioning unit. Had it been mid-summer, I am not sure the unit would have kept a family accustomed to the mild climate in the Pacific NW of the US comfortable, but Paris in June is lovely and there were no issues. The property location was fantastic, even after a wonderfully exhausting day walking miles and miles around Paris. It is very near the Bastille metro stop and the Gare De Lyon metro stop and train station. As a family of 4, we used the metro, taxis, and Uber, and found all very economical and convenient. We would stay here again without hesitation."

"This apartment was great for solo traveler's stay in Paris. Apartment was located on quiet side street, but many shops, restaurants and bars are located nearby. With only a 10 minute walk to the river, it was very convenient to visit tourist sites and access to metro. The apartment included many extras, such as very helpful tourist information and guidebooks, along with plenty of utensils in the kitchen. Overall I enjoyed my stay, much better than some hotel room that all seem alike. I stayed 9 days, and recommend it for either a short or long stay."

"I will be honest, I was freaked out about getting the keys around the corner in a lock, but we went with it and it was fine. We arrived from Amsterdam via the train- went first class and booked a taxi on the train- much easier than waiting in line and we just took off from Gare Nord without any issues- the wait is ridiculous so if you have this an option and you are traveling by train- just do it- it will save you a load of headaches and time.
The apartment- it is all that you will need in Paris- it is small, but you aren't hanging out there. The internet and AC were fine. There is a fan if you need it- we were there in the summer. There is a small refrigerator. There is a grocery on the main street a few blocks away across from the metro line and there is a taxi stand there, too.
It is a great location and this part of Paris is lovely. You are close to so many great places in this area- restaurants, shops, and the Museum Carnavalet- make sure to go through the line and don't pay, but you still need to get a ticket. The Picasso museum- get a ticket ahead of time or be prepared to wait.
Working with the owner was easy as she is quick to respond. Do note, that there are clearly stated check in and check out times. If you need to check out later, make arrangements with her ahead of time."
