  • Thank you, we enjoyed our stay!

"We want to thank you very much. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It's a fun, quirky and very convenient pad in Paris. It was quite large, had everything we needed and was conveniently located to the Jules Joffrin metro station. Don't miss Casa Lola at the top of the hill and the fabulous patisserie on the corner. We'd rent this apartment again without hesitation. Au revoir."

  • Sacre Coeur Apartment

"We stayed here six nights in August. I think the price was fair because the apartment wasn't as big as it appeared in the pictures. Luckily we had the 2nd bedroom for our teenaged son because we would have been in each other's laps otherwise! It's ironic that the heading for this listing says "Calm" because this was the noisiest place I've ever stayed in my life! The apartment's windows look out at the trams that run to Sacre Coeur, which are loud and are open late into the evening. There must be a park nearby because every single night there was a concert going on. Sounded like the same group each night and if you absolutely love "Free Fallin" by Tom Petty sung off key 5+ times a night then you're in for a treat! Once the concert ended we listened to drunk people outside the window, yelling into the early morning hours. (One night it was a young man who was upset about something and spent several hours sobbing and lamenting while his friends tried to talk to him. Unfortunately I couldn't understand what he was saying!) Several nights AFTER the drunks went home we listened to what sounded like Electronica being played from inside the building. Needless to say we got little sleep. What's funny is when I read the check-in instructions at home before we left, I made sure my son and husband knew about their noise policy. It goes on for over a page about using quiet voices in the apartment, not letting your luggage bang on anything, taking off your shoes, moving things softly, even keeping young kids from jumping and running around in the apartment. I can only figure they want it so quiet inside so you're able to hear everything going on outside your window clearly. Must be Tom Petty fans! My suggestion to any Americans staying here is to read the check-in instructions closely and maybe copy them over into bullet points. It's not written by someone who speaks English and was really confusing! After travelling 15+ hours we spent several more hours trying to figure out how to get the key. My poor husband traipsed around Paris in the dark before finally enlisting our teenaged son's help while I stood guard over the bags in the rain. The view from this apartment was incredible and it did have some charm. The washing machine (no dryer) was a huge help and the kitchen was fairly well stocked. I would definitely recommend this apartment to people who don't mind noise and are heavy sleepers!!"

  • Fantastic stay! Great place

"L'Odéon is the perfect apartment in the St Germain/Luxembourg area on a quiet street close to all the action. My husband and I stayed here for eight days and had a perfect time. The property managers were amazing, there was some construction going on in the courtyard and they worked with us (offering to move us, which we opted out of) and were very detailed about everything. The construction didn't bother us at all, but we were glad they let us know before we arrived. The bedroom area is quiet, and the separate living room was superb. There was plenty of closet space, I saw one review below and I think there must have been something wrong with him because I hung my things in the armoire and the regular closet without incident. There was also a cabinet in bedroom to lay out folded clothes. The kitchen was very big and well stocked with the gadgets you'd need for your vacation. I cannot recommend this apartment highly enough. Absolutely perfect stay!"

  • Great location, amenities and on-site services

"We thoroughly enjoyed our eleven-day stay at this lovely apartment. It had an ideal location, many apartment amenities and excellent on-site services. Located in the 3rd Arrondissement, in a quiet Marais neighborhood within walking distance to attractions like Notre Dame, Hotel de Ville and Marche des Enfants Rouge, surrounded by restaurants and close to groceries and small specialty shopping. Getting around was easy being close to the Metro, Seine BatoBus and very reasonable priced taxi rides. Our amenities included top quality appliances with helpful easy to understand instructions, attractive modern furnishings, English channel cable TV and rooftop views of Paris. The on-site services came with a lobby concierge, multi-layered building security, modern elevator and the friendly professional assistance of Patrick our apartment contact. We strongly recommend this apartment."
