  • Excellent place .. deserves 5 Star but managed out of US and logistics arent very comforting

"Location 5 Star Space 5 Star Its a wonderful apartment and in the heart of a lovely city. what could you ask for more. ? Everything is nicely done up, neat and clean and well fitting for a family of 4 (Two adults and 2 kids). Could be a bit tight for 4 adults. Proper Beddings / nicely equipped kitchen / neat Bath and a storage room for your stuff and located very close to the super market. It is close to the Metro but if you are carrying luggage, just take a cab from the airport else. The Local Agent for the apartment thankfully patiently waited for me as i got bit late because of this mistake. The worry was the low point of my stay here. Rest was wonderful. The Caution: The check in logistics are a bit cumbersome probably because its managed by the owners office out of US and that makes transactions bit difficult. The late fee by me remains unpaid as the payment mechanism is missing. For this nice place its fine to pay that late check in fee (check in after 6 or pm.. thought its not mentioned anywhere in rental agreement or at the time of booking). So do clear this part. Interestingly my deposit isnt refunded yet .. (over a month now) even though i have requested to adjust it against the late fee. I guess it could be a VRBO issue as well. All in all I think the owner is very kind to offer such a nice apartment and I was happy to enjoy the hospitality. I would recommend this place without hesitation. I am sure the check in logistics will get sorted out."

  • Good stay + central location

"Stayed here with my family of 5 earlier on this month. Beds comfortable and apartment spacious enough for all of us. A new bed was installed during our stay in the bedroom which was great. The apartment was generally clean but the foyer and common stairways was a bit dusty. The location of the apartment was central , just a 2min walk to the Notre Dame and 5mins to the closest metro station (Cite). The 4 flight of steps up to the apartment was a bit of a struggle with our luggage , but with a high floor, the noise from the streets below was probably lessened. The kitchen is equipped well but 2 of the cooktops were not functional. The oven was available for usage but there was not a provided baking tray to use. The washing machine situated in the kitchen was great for travelling families and it worked well. Across the road is a boulangerie and 2 doors down is a grocery shop. The representative of the owner was punctual at the arranged meeting time and was informative in all the do's and don'ts in Paris. Enjoyed the stay and will definitely recommend to others."

  • An Enjoyable Parisian Stay

"My wife and I stayed at this apartment for 7 nights. We really enjoyed both the property and location. We have been to Paris many times and like staying in places away from the main tourist haunts to enjoy the Parisian lifestyle. Pierre's apartment offered both a very lovely home for a week located in a very enjoyable quartier. Although on the 'edge' of the Marais, we walked everywhere because Paris is a city where walking is so rewarding and the location is, at most, a 20 minute walk to the Seine. There are plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants nearby as well as a couple of supermarkets and boulangeries etc. The apartment is very quiet as it is ensconced at the rear of an oldler building well away from the street but enjoys plenty of light and fresh air from the courtyard. It is very well equipped with all that one needs for a short stay of a week or two. Our only disappointments were as follows: 1) we could not get access to the apartment till after 4 pm (16:00) as the previous occupiers had not left on time and the place wasn't cleaned and ready by the agreed 2 pm check in time. It was a long time to wait from our arrival. 2) when we did finally get access, the previous used but now cleaned linen was still in the washing machine and we were requested by the guardienne to put it away in the cupboard. 3) the bedroom wardrobe was half filled with cleaning materials and other items that took away about 50% of useable space that we could have used 4) two cupboard doors in the kitchen were hanging loose and one actually fell off whilst we were there as it had obviously been left that way for some time. Whilst these were annoying niggly things, our stay was still very comfortable and enjoyable and we would definitely stay again (I think the kitchen cupboards have been repaired now as there are new photos on the web site and they look OK). The apartment was clean and Pierre, the owner, provided clear directions as how to get there and gain access and seemed to be an owner who cared for our comfort."

  • Unforgettably lovely

"The studio is very romantic, cozy, chic and warm. Great view of the metropolis. Perfect for lovers with its enticing view of the Eiffel Tower. The location is close to bars, shops, cafes and metro stations. The room was well-equipped with everything we need. The owner attended and catered to everything we asked. Highly recommended!"
