"This was our second stay at this lovely apartment and it won't be the last! It is our "home away from home" in Paris. We spent 9 nights at the end of Sept. 2014. If you want to stay in a beautiful apartment in a traditional French neighborhood to experience the true French culture, this the place for you. The apartment has plenty of room with all of the amenities you would ever need. It is quiet, safe, spacious, and convenient. other reviews are right on spot with the descriptions.
This year, in addition to the usual tourist sights, we took a macroon baking class at La Cuisine and side trips to Fountainbleau and Rouen. The apartment is so well located that we were easily able to return from these adventures and relax with a nice glass of Champagne. Two large Monoprix's (where we get our olive oil soaps and Van Houten baking chocolate) are located in short walking distances. Of course, right next door is the mini Monoprix and very near you can shop in the chocolate shop, bakery, cheese store, produce market, etc.
The owners are the best! They will see to your every needs. This year the owner took us to the oldest market in Paris and gave us a personal food tour while treating us to the the best croissants in the world!
We will not stay anyplace else in Paris. This is an A+ property with A+ owners."

"We, 3 childhood friends, stayed at the apartment for a wonderful get-together in Paris. The apartment is very clean, beds very comfortable and instructions were very clear. The location is superb. I would highly recommend the place and if in Paris will definitely aim to stay there again.
There is a bakery very close by and it was great to start the day with fresh croissants and baguette.
I would recommend to try and improve little maintenance problems: the floorboards creak and some are loose, some of the electric sockets need fastening as does the bathroom tap and one of the knobs on the shower glass door. There were only 5 towels - there were supposed to be 6.
I would suggest providing exact directions + map (for example the best way to walk from the metro if you are carrying heavy luggage and don't want to go up stairs).
All in all - the Paris holiday was wonderful and the apartment was definitely one of the reasons.

"Myself and 3 friends had a wonderful stay in this apartment. It was fine for two couples because it has a water closet on the main floor and a full bath upstairs. The terrace was exceptional and the neighborhood very friendly with fabulous patisseries and cafes. Would definitely stay here again. The appliances were top notch (especially the iron) and it was delightful to prepare a meal in the kitchen. Frederic was very helpful and kind."

"My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time in this lovely apartment. I was drawn to it because of the outstanding reviews I read below. Be sure to read them all as they provide great insight. First and foremost, the apartment was very clean, well equipped and the furniture was comfortable. The bed was comfortable, (firm) and the pillows were very comfortable as well. The towels were also in very good condition. The location of the apartment is very quiet as it's set back from the busy street. I discovered that is very well insulated because it's a 17th century building with extremely thick walls. So while I thought we would need to turn heat on at night, we never did. Instead we opened the long windows and allowed the fresh air to blow in. It is also secure, as you'll go through two gates, one secured by a pass-code and the other by a key, so you won't need to worry about your belongings. You even need a pass-code for the elevator, which really comes in handy with the luggage and after a long day of walking throughout the city! As all the other reviewers said, the location is unbeatable! I especially enjoyed crossing over the Seine and jogging at the Tuileries garden in the mornings. We loved that it was a short walk to the Blvd. St Germain, many attractions, the bus and metro stops. The highlight for my husband was living like a true Parisian. We stocked up on a few groceries for breakfast and lunch, a huge cost savings! Each morning we went to the bakery on the corner and picked up some fresh croissants and baguettes. My husband's parents were staying in a hotel a few blocks away and one morning we even had them over for breakfast. Lastly, Veronique was a pleasure to work with. She is very nice and accommodating. We'd love to come back and stay here. Thanks Veronique!!!"
