  • Great Apartment

"My wife and I spent 2 weeks in Paris with this apartment as our base. The apartment was very nice, even larger than we expected, with a functional kitchen and comfortable bed. The location was fantastic--close to excellent bakeries, a cheese shop, a butcher, a wine shop and several small supermarkets and a great variety of restaurants. Best of all, it was very close to the Metro with which all of Paris is easily accessible. The only drawbacks were problems with the WiFi and the washer/dryer combo, but these were relatively minor."

  • Perfect!!!!!

"Pictures do not do this apartment justice! It is a beautiful and well appointed apartment that we had the pleasure of staying in for four wonderful nights! It is much bigger than we expected. The Saint Germain area is great. You could not ask for a better location with popular cafés just around the corner not to mention a multitude of nearby shopping, including several local grocery stores. This was a central location , close to the metro station and cabs, but within walking distance of most everything you would hope to see while in Paris (and we did!) I believe the location was the primary factor in our being able to accomplish so much in our short stay. It is very close to Notre Dame, the Louvre, the Seine, Shakespeare and Company bookstore, the church St Germaine des Pres and several other museums. We could walk to the Eiffel Tower in a reasonable amount of time and a bit longer to walk to the Arc de Triomphe. We really enjoyed the Montemarte area with artist walk and Sacre Coeur. Visiting Jim Morrison's gravesite at Pere Lachaise Cemetery turned out to be quite interesting as there was quite an eclectic group hanging out there. Rue de Buci was a fun street at night. Do take the evening boat cruise down the Seine. You will find all sights very accessible. I visited with my daughter and son- in- law and we slept like babies every night. The beds were very comfortable. The place is immaculate and the building is remarkably well kept and a very safe location that I would feel more than comfortable in at any time of night. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. Kristin was wonderfully patient and helpful. She met with us at arrival and got us situated, and oriented us to the apartment and the neighborhood. She was readily available when we called with questions, and very helpful. The free calls to the states was a big plus for us. The stairs are not bad at all, though there is an elevator as noted by others. Also, for anyone with worries about no air conditioning, which was a concern for me, don't worry. One of our days was particularly hot but it was comfortably cool in the apartment and there are fans and large windows. This was our first VRBO experience and our first time to Paris and it was a winner! Cannot rave about this lovely apartment enough. Would not hesitate to stay here again on a return trip. Thank you to Kristin and the owners for sharing your beautiful space."

  • Wonderful rental in Le Marais

"Just finished with a great stay at this larger sized loft/studio in Le Marais. The owner and caretaker were super easy to work with and the space which is located on a top floor of a nice Paris building was warm with excellent views of the City. We'll definitely stay here again."

  • Shining Star in the St. Louis

"What a great location in the heart of Paris. Just across the bridge from the Metro and within walking distance to many of Paris' sites including Notre Dame. The bustling neighborhood offers many conveniences including a fantastic bakery next door, a cheese shop, shopping and delicious Berthillion ice cream (don't miss it). The apartment itself is very small, but tucked away in a quite enclave. The smells of the bakery next door added to the ambiance. Would definitely consider this on a repeat stay!"
