  • Perfect Paris Apartment!!

"We loved our stay in this apartment and will return! I was shocked at how large it was - bigger than the square footage advertized I think because the French don't include kitchens and bathrooms. This is a large apartment for Paris and we were so comfortable. It is furnished nicely. The new sofa easily makes into a comfortable and very large bed. The bedroom is large as well - no hitting your knees rounding the bed as you will in other one bedrooms and Paris hotel rooms! The flat panel TV works great as did the WiFi. Great windows and lots of ventillation. Quite cool. Large bathroom and shower and kitchen VERY roomy for Paris. The owner was great to deal with - providing everything we needed before and during the stay. Now for the location - terrific! You are moments from metro and the Rodin Museum. The neighborhood is very, very safe and also quiet for a city location. This means that you are only a few blocks from all the madness that is Paris, but have peace for sleeping. There is a pharmacy, grocer, baker, ATM, fruit stand, and bistro within a few yards of your front door. This could not have been more convenient. I love this place and will return!"

  • Beautiful apartment in a wonderful location

"This is a wonderful place and I highly recommend it without any reservations. We stayed here for 9 days with our 11 year old and 14 year old. Lots of space for 4 people. The pictures are exactly as it is. We will definitely be renting again when we return. The location is unbeatable. The Champs-Elysee is a short walk across a small park (1-2 blocks). There is a wonderful neighborhood with stores and restaurants the other direction. The Louvre, L'Organgerie, Invalides Military Museum (Napoleon's tomb), Arc d Triomphe are all within a pleasant walking distance. If you prefer not to walk, there are 3 metro stops very close by. The neighborhood is very safe feeling. My wife and kids were all comfortable walking alone at all times- the Presidential palace abuts the block! The apartment itself is just as pictured. Cozy kitchen which is fully equipped and has eating area. The living room is huge as is the master bedroom. The second bedroom is comfortable but smaller. All the beds were comfortable. High ceilings throughout and nicely decorated . It was as I dreamed Paris would be. Practical aspects: check in easy, security deposit quickly returned, internet fast and reliable. A special treat is the garden which is off the living room and has a nice table for breakfast or dinner. Nothing better than a glass of French wine and cheese a block from the Champs-Elysee! As you can gather we loved the place which made us feel at home in a new place. The entire family has already begun campaigning for a repeat stay next spring."

  • Civilised market street

"Being situated on a market street immediately above a café runs the risk of a little noise, but that’s a small price for being in the Marais, literally a few steps from several cafes, four or five bakers (including Poilâne), three or four wineshops, excellent cheese shop, Italian, Greek and French traiteurs, not to forget the butcher across the road. We popped over to breakfast at Rose's Bakery, and lunch and more than one dinner at Le Bougnat, with the wife in the kitchen, husband chatting to customers. You need to book at neo-bistro Les Enfants Rouges in rue de Beauce. And that’s before mentioning the Enfants Rouges market itself, mainly with prepared dishes of all varieties. No need to go hungry. For a month, we went too all parts of Paris, and needed only occasional Metro trips, what with the useful bus nearby, but mainly because we could walk everywhere. As the plan of the delightful apartment shows, it is sunny (even in December-January), and relatively spacious for Paris with one bedroom downstairs and the privacy of distance to the other, doubling as tv room. With dining, offices with desks, places for lounging, the apartment itself could not be more civilised, nor the owners."

  • Picardie

"Very nice accommodation. Once it warmed up, it was cozy and in February that was a huge plus. Lots of late night noise from the flat above that was disruptive. A nicely appointed kitchen."
