"It was roomy enough and the large dining table was nice. The WC is pretty tiny but not the end of the world. The bathroom was good. Lots of space for stuff and people. Shopkeepers in the neighbourhood are very pleasant and monoprix is great to have nearby."

"Please read all the reviews because they are spot on. My husband and I just spent nine glorious days in Paris, our first trip there, and staying in Michele's apartment was the root of this marvelous Parisian experience. As described previously, it is a charming, tasteful, interesting , peaceful oasis in a well located area of Paris. The first few days we took the Metro (one minute away) but after we got our bearings we walked everywhere. We were blessed with perfect blue sky weather in the 60's( so I can't say what it would be like in hot summer weather) and slept in the very comfortable bed with windows open. We ended up having dinner most nights in the area, mostly Michele's suggestions, all delicious. We ate at Petite Commines, Bofinger, Pramil, Falafel King, a cafe on the street, all wonderful, but the best was the restaurant in front of the apartment, L'Olivier, owned by the lovely couple below Michele's apartment. Highly recommended! We visited the market nearby and picked up delicious pastries at the bakery around the corner each morning. There is great shopping in the Marais and most stores are open on Sundays, a bonus. Michele couldn't have been more helpful in answering all our questions and making perfect suggestions. We can't wait to go back!"

"My husband and I just returned from a month stay in this beautiful Marais apartment. The apartment was very clean and has a full kitchen with everything you need including a table with 4 chairs, a large living room, a roomy bedroom with a queen size very comfortable bed and a good sized bathroom, as well as a half bath. All in all, ample room for the month stay. The pictures depict it well.
Elisabeth, the owner, was very accommodating to our needs and easy to work with.
We found a wonderful bakery about 2 blocks away, a regular and a "natural" grocery within 2 blocks, a Thai massage a block away, and many fine restaurants and cafes in the area, one right next door.
The one downside was that the bathtub was difficult to get down into after going up several steps to get there. We were very careful and got used to it after awhile.
I would recommend this apartment to anyone for a long or short stay."

"We had a wonderful family vacation in this home. A great apartment with four bedrooms with very comfortable beds. Our group included 7 adults and two children. The location is in a quiet neighborhood and just a four block walk to the metro line. Loved having a comfortable home base for our exploration of Paris. Great local restaurants with recommendations provided by the owner. Tried all of the patisseries and made sure to stop for goodies daily. Convenient grocery and wonderful local twice weekly markets. Apartment comfortable and welcoming with fully equipped kitchen. Closet full of toys entertained our baby and 4 year old. Loved being able to open the windows and sleep with fresh air. Paris has no bugs! Only saw one moth in the metro and a beetle in the park during our visit. September had great weather with a high of 75 and lows of 55. Only rained once but it didn't stop our fun. I've been daydreaming of our trip since we returned 2 weeks ago. Would love to stay there again in the future. I'd love to see the Eiffel Tower twinkle at Christmas!"
