  • Delightful

"A very quiet, peaceful location just a short drive from the lovely city of Uzes. We stayed for a week in late September at Villa la Colline and enjoyed every minute. The interior is modern and tasteful, and the outdoor spaces are wonderful. The view from the deck out front is superb, and the private back garden made us feel that the place was our very own. We visit France to cook and eat, and we put together some delicious meals in the well-equipped kitchen. Uzes has two market days, and there's a good supermarket just five minutes away by car. Uzes is a great place to eat as well, if you want someone else to do the cooking. We enjoyed many lunches sitting outside and watching the bustle of the town. Hosts David and Ghislaine are fun and extremely helplful. Thanks to their advice, we ate at excellent restaurants, visited nearby Nimes, kayaked down the Garde and under the iconic Pont du Garde, and even went for an ocean dip in the Camargue region. We will be back."

  • Great French Countryside vacation

"My husband and I rented the Sommet for 2 weeks in the early fall of 2014. After a long drive from Paris were were glad to have arrived. This large apartment has every thing you need to be comfortable during your stay. The second floor living room and balcony were the best, great for sunrises and sunsets over looking the small town of Pazoils and vineyards. A complete kitchen with clothes washer and dishwasher make it feel like home. The local market is only a few minutes walk away with all the basic supplies as well a local visiting venders such as butcher, dairy producer, produce and pizza truck. It was a great base for visiting the Cathar castles, wineries and the Mediterranean sea. The reservation process was simple and easy with ALL our questions being answered before arrival. A great place to experience local french life at a relaxing pace ! Would highly recommend this property ."

  • A heavenly home in Caunes Minervois

"I spent almost a month in Ingrid's gorgeous stone cottage and it was a life changing experience! The interior is just delightful as are the hosts Ingrid and Christopher. They were extremely helpful and kind and made me feel so at home that I can't wait to return and am about to make a new booking! The cottage is situated in the heart of the village and yet it is quiet and serene, the abbey's bells chime and the birds twitter. There are fabulous restaurants within walking distance and a very well stocked grocery store and of course heavenly wine cellars hosting excellent wines. The 3 storey cottage is just perfect for one or two people and so romantic, comfy and cosy; some days I just stayed at home reading from Christophers' incredible library. I would really recommend this lovely home to anyone coming to stay in beautiful magical Caunes Minervois!"
