  • Quaint apartment in convenient location

"Our hostess was very charming and helpful. We stayed in the Syrah apartment which was spacious and reasonably priced. We enjoyed sitting out in the garden enjoying a baguette or pain au chocolat. And the local Florensac wine was really good. The apartment was conveniently located to many interesting towns. And while it is close to the main highway, it is secluded enough to still feel like you are in the country."

  • Perfect French Vacation

"My husband and I stayed at Appt. Ciel Bleu for 11 days. I must agree with the other reviews - it was perfect. The accommodations, location and response time from both the owners and Angie could not have been better. The apartment is situated above a pretty little square. I loved sitting on the balcony with my coffee early in the morning and watch the square come to life as the shop keepers opened their doors, and locals would drop by to chat. There were plenty of activities in and around Ceret, and Elaine and Michael have done a wonderful job of documenting them. We made good use of their information binders. We enjoyed many day trips and hikes, but some of our favourite days were spent wandering in town, talking with the friendly locals, enjoying a drink at one of the cafés, or taking in the lovely Museum of Modern Art. Grocery shopping is a daily event and, I might add, much more fun abroad than at home. We were lucky enough to be there during cherry season, and Ceret is "cherry capital" of the region. The Saturday market is magnificent as it winds it's way through the narrow streets of town. We felt so at home here that it was hard to leave. I would return in a heartbeat!"
