Fantastic holiday home!
"Our group consisted of 3 adults and 3 young children. We spent 5 lovely weeks at Les Palmiers.
Our first impressions were of space, comfort and luxury! The pool was inviting, the outdoor furniture begging to be relaxed in, the kitchen spacious and well equipped. Artworks adorn many walls. The entire property was clean and well maintained.
Marie, the housekeeper, is an absolute gem. She looked after us really well and nothing was too much trouble for her.
The photos don't do the place justice, it is even better than it looks. Despite there being 6 in our group and up to 3 visitors at one time, we never felt cramped. As the yard is completely walled off from the street and neighbouring properties, and the pool is securely fenced, we were able to let the kids play outside in complete safety.
Uzes is a wonderful town, steeped in history and architecture. We loved the Wednesday markets, restaurants, shops and cafes. Especially handy was the boulangerie two doors down; fresh bread and croissants every morning became a habit that was hard to break when the holiday was over!
We can only thank Maggie sincerely for accommodation that made our trip truly wonderful."

"Have just returned from 2 weeks in Uzes staying at this property. It is in a really good location really clean on arrival (and serviced weekly) with only a short walk into the heart of the town yet really peaceful location on a private gated estate. Locals are really friendly and Diane and Parn make you really welcome and are there to advise great places to go. The house is well equipped should you want to do a "Jamie Oliver" with the wonderful fresh ingredients available. There are numerous bars and restaurants in town, (3 course lunch menu Plat du Jour 13.90Euros -well worth trying). There are two good markets a week in Uzes - or just sit in the spacious garden with a glass and a book!
For off season holidays central heating (unusual for a French property) and English as well as French TV (flat screen). Property ideal for two couples as upstairs and down bathrooms.
This is the best property we have stayed in when visiting France (some 25 years!!)"

"My girlfriend and I stayed here for a week during this summer. The huge farmhouse has been really well restored, with incredible vaulted ceilings and traditional southern French architecture, and the surrounding area is absolutely stunning. The apartment was very clean, very attractive and made for a relaxing stay. It is situated very near the town centre of Uzès (2 minute walk), yet the accommodation is very calm and peaceful. It was great to have a large pool as well, as it gets very hot in summer! Can't wait to get back there next year!! Also lots of people speak English in the town, so the language wasn't a problem, but I still got to practice my limited French."

"After looking at every feasible place with 35-45 miles of Avignon, we chose this villa in Vers Pont du Gard, and it met or exceeded every expectation. A quiet location with security and privacy behind locked gates. An amazing kitchen for those who like to shop for food and cook French meals, plus a grill just outside. Two tables inside and two tables outside for a place to dine. A very large shower and bath/jacuuzzi area with twin sinks. Two comfortable sleeping rooms with plenty of storage. A comfortable area for TV, DVD, Internet and WiFi.
A five minute walk takes you to a local grocer, bakery, and wine producer. Nearby there are a variety of attractions to satisfy every interest and to keep you busy, plus there are a wide selection of restaurants to please almost anyone. What's not to love about this villa?"
