Lovely apartment in Uzes
"A charming apartment, wonderfully positioned in the square. I was thrilled to sleep under the tiles on the mezzanine. Would definitely recommend it. I would avoid the restaurants in the square, we had a poor meal in the nearest one to the apartment as we arrived too late to look around properly. Had a fabulous meal in the Petit Jardin though, on the main street. Highly recommended."

"June 2014 This is a well appointed and renovated easy to live in villa just a gentle walk in to the charming village. The first morning I opened the front door to slip out for a run and the sky was dotted with hot air balloons. Temperatures in the thirties but the house was cool and the pool long enough to swim in to cool down. Good mattresses too..so important! Turn left to be in the countryside , turn right to go to the village.I think the rental cycle should be Friday to Friday as we missed the highly regarded market both days as we were arriving and leaving."

"A very quiet, peaceful location just a short drive from the lovely city of Uzes. We stayed for a week in late September at Villa la Colline and enjoyed every minute. The interior is modern and tasteful, and the outdoor spaces are wonderful. The view from the deck out front is superb, and the private back garden made us feel that the place was our very own.
We visit France to cook and eat, and we put together some delicious meals in the well-equipped kitchen. Uzes has two market days, and there's a good supermarket just five minutes away by car. Uzes is a great place to eat as well, if you want someone else to do the cooking. We enjoyed many lunches sitting outside and watching the bustle of the town.
Hosts David and Ghislaine are fun and extremely helplful. Thanks to their advice, we ate at excellent restaurants, visited nearby Nimes, kayaked down the Garde and under the iconic Pont du Garde, and even went for an ocean dip in the Camargue region.
We will be back."

"We have now stayed four times in Ucetia for a total of six weeks and are already discussing next year's visit! I just re-read the previous reviews and they all refer to the comfort and convenience of the apartment and it's wonderful location and I certainly endorse all their positive comments. Monica must also be mentioned for her help and advice.
What is difficult to describe is the sense of "home" that we feel living in the apartment and that makes it so enjoyable.
(This year as we entered the apartment my iPad, which remembered the WiFi password, "dinged" as my email came down. It was as if Ucetia was saying "Welcome back".)
A perfect place to experience living "like locals".
We will be back."
