  • Wonderful Old Wine Village - Don't Miss It

"Loved this village! We stayed two weeks and wished that it was longer. My husband spent days taking photos of the town while I had opportunity to work on my French. The village has a small market, bakery and pizza shop, all of which we frequented and enjoyed. We also purchased a jug of wine from the local vineyard, which was not only good, but a bargain at 1.50 euros per liter. Although the owners recommended having a vehicle, we chose to use public transportation, and got by just fine. We took local buses, which ran on schedule. The buses take you to the local villages. A bus ride to Agde drops you at the train station where we took trains to Barcelona, Paris and Montpellier. The house was one of the most unique homes we have ever rented. We especially liked the historic feeling of the centuries old home. The hosts were extremely helpful about local places to visit and knowledgeable about the regions history. We highly recommend this vacation rental."

  • Perfect for 2 couples

"We've just returned from a stay in these apartments. We were in Paris to celebrate my parents 45th wedding anniversary and the setup of having 2 separate apartments so close together was ideal. The apartments were well stocked with plenty of towels, linens, cookware, etc. They also had basics like salt, pepper, spices, and tea. Plenty of soap, paper towels, toilet paper too. This gave us time to get settled before setting off for the grocery store. There is an elevator, although we rarely used it. The location is basically right next to the metro and the batobus stop. The metro is very easy to use. You can also walk to many places. On the first day we walked all the way to the Eiffel tower and back. It's a long walk, but it was a beautiful day and we were trying to sty awake to deal with jet lag. The apartment building is in a little square with lots of bistros, bakeries, etc just below the apartments. The square was pretty lively at night on the weekend, but quiet the rest of our stay. We found the restaurant below the apartment, Les Mauvais Garcons, to be particularly good for a nice dinner. There are several grocery stores within walking distance and great falafel and asian restaurants nearby. The owner and the local representatives were very easy to work with and responded very quickly to any questions. The security deposit was returned quickly after checking out. Overall, a great stay and we would stay here again if we return to Paris."

  • A very special holiday apartment

"You are always a little nervous when you book a holiday home over the internet but you really have nothing to worry about with this lovely apartment. The booking process was easy with paypal for security and I also telephoned Veronique who spoke really good English and was able to provide lots of information. Etienne welcomed us to the apartment and was really helpful, providing us with information about where to visit eat etc and he even took us to his local garage and translated for us when we had car trouble. The apartment also has so many books about the local area and the Chateaux which were very useful. The apartment is truly lovely - we travelled with my daughter , son, and his girlfriend all in their late teens, early twenties and we were all delighted. The apartment is right beside the castle with lovely views from all of the bedroom windows of the castle and the loire. I spent quite a long time looking out of the windows admiring the view during the week. The rooms are all really spacious and the furnishings fit so well with this lovely old house. The bedding was also lovely and crisp. There are also 2 bathrooms and a separate loo which make it much easier for a large family. There is also a lovely little garden to enjoy the sunshine. My children also really enjoyed having wifi. The location of the apartment is also really good being just a few minutes walk from the lovely centre with all its cafe's restaurants and shops so after a day sight seeing it was easy to stroll to the centre for something to eat without having to worry about driving. There were restaurants also to suit all budgets. During the week we visited the Chateau in Amboise, Clos Luce ( home of Leonardo da Vinci), Chambord and Chenonceau and the lovely Beauval Zoo. There are so many places within easy reach you will have trouble choosing and the roads weren't busy even in the school summer holidays. We all feel really lucky to have found such a lovely place and have no hesitation in recommending it to you. Thank you Etienne and Veronique for sharing your lovely home with us."
