A refaire"

  • Perfection in Toulouse

"My husband and I had the pleasure to stay a week at Manuela's lovely apartment in beautiful Toulouse. The apartment itself was spotless, well appointed, and safe. It's location is fabulous with the grocery store right next door, the large Victor Hugo Market a five minute walk away, and the Sunday market outside St. Aubin Church a fifteen minute walk away. Outside the door in every direction are restaurants, cafes, and bars. The Place du Capitole main square is only a five minute walk away as is the newly renovated Rue D' Alsace Lorraine. The beautiful St. Sernin Church is only a ten minute walk away. The Garonne River and it's lovely promenades between Pont St. Pierre and Pont Neuf, is only about a twenty minute stroll away. Manuela the property owner is extremely professional, helpful and honest. She will make sure that everything you need to know is discussed and reviewed, so there are no unanswered questions. Having such a caring landlord/host as Manuela, as well as such a lovely well located apartment helped to make our first visit to Toulouse extremely memorable."

Cordes-sur-Ciel Travel Tips

Plan the Perfect Getaway to Cordes-sur-Ciel Vacation Rentals

Planning a getaway to France this summer? Whether you're looking for a romantic retreat for two or a vacation for your entire family, Cordes-sur-Ciel vacation rentals offer the perfect vacation place for everyone. Enjoy a European vacation in a thirteenth century, medieval town where you're only minutes away from butchers, bakers, supermarkets, and enchanting antique villages. Enjoy a breathtaking view of the Cerou valley from Cordes-sur-Ciel vacation rentals or take a walk through stone alleyways while glancing at beautiful gardens and medieval architecture. A Cordes-sur-Ciel accommodation offers all the comforts of home, including satellite/cable TV (with Great Britain channels), fully equipped kitchens (including cookware, utensils, appliances, and dishwashers), spacious living areas, and more. Buy fresh food in the outdoor market nearby and prepare your favorite meal at home or dine out. There are plenty of great French restaurants and cafes nearby.

Fine French Restaurants Are Only Minutes Away From Your Cordes-sur-Ciel Accommodation

If you're looking for a moderately priced, casual dining experience, you can visit one of several restaurants owned and operated by Yves Thuriès. He's a local, renowned Chef in France, and his cuisine focuses on dishes like cassoulet, croustade of magret duckling layer with apples, delicious roasted salmon, and a flavorful array of salads. Prices are relatively low if you compare with similar restuarants.

Pyrenees Travel Offers a Wide Array of Activities

If you're visiting France during the summer months, Pyrenees travel offers a variety of events, including Jazz festivals, street parties, film festivals, sand sculpture events, and much more. In June, the Ida y Vuelta festival presents a mixture of street parties and local musical talent. You'll see more than 500 different musical acts, as well as 30,000 visitors flooding the streets of Cordes-sur-Ciel. Often called the city of one hundred Gothic arches, Cordes is filled with old houses built from pink sandstone. The doors and windows have pointed arches and still retain their thirteenth century charm. With its medieval houses, narrow lanes, and mystic gardens, Cordes-sur-Ciel vacation rentals offer something for everyone.
