Overview of Aix en Provence Area Vacation Rentals

Artful and Fantastic Aix-en-Provence Rentals

The region of Provence, France is famous not only for its fabulous foods and quintessential “French” atmosphere; it is also the location of Aix-en-Provence, a small city toward the south. The city was home to artist Cezanne, and it is where you will find the TGV (high speed train) which brings many visitors to their Aix-en-Provence rentals. Provence travel would not be the same without a stay in Aix.

Luxury Is Mandatory at Your Aix-en-Provence Accommodation

Because the city has always been a rich and opulent one, any Aix-en-Provence accommodation you select is bound to be luxurious and beautiful. Be prepared to spend a bit of money on Aix-en-Provence rentals. However, the price is well worth it as the city is both quiet and clean with the charm of a small French town that allows for plenty of nice, long walks. In fact, the city center consists of mostly very old buildings along narrow streets.

Provence Travel Means Exploring Everywhere

You will want to leave your Aix-en-Provence accommodation to explore the city on foot. As you go up and down the narrow, winding streets, you will catch a glimpse of the wonderful fountains for which Aix-en-Provence is famous. Be sure not to miss the Cours Mirabeau on the main avenue. Other fountains draw their water from hot springs nearby. Additionally, during your Provence travel, you will want to take note of the impressive architecture throughout Aix which boasts intricate and detailed doors, bell towers, and wrought iron.

You Will Eat Well When Staying in Aix-en-Provence Rentals

Provence Travel does not mean that you will just be walking around Aix-en-Provence and eating French food which probably is not such a bad idea! Any Aix-en-Provence accommodation is situated quite close to the many billiards, pubs, restaurants, and cafes in and around town. If you would like to leave the city for a bit, catch the bus to St. Victoire to climb a mountain, have a picnic, and view the old monastery. Though you can stay at the monastery at night, you may want to return to your luxurious Aix-en-Provence rentals anyway!
