Great location, great apartment
"We stayed (four women) five nights in this spacious, well appointed, very clean apartment. We each had our own comfortable bed.The location was ideal. Close to all amenities. We felt right at home. Could eat in, do our laundry and enjoy a quiet evening at home feeling safe and secure.
Donal was very prompt at answering our pre trip inquiries and had a friend meet us when we arrived to show us around the apartment and answer any questions.
The day after we arrived we took a walking tour with Donal in the morning. It served to familiarize us with Aix and we experienced things we wouldn't have done or seen on our own. The highlight of our time was the day trip to the Luberon villages we took with Donal. He is an excellent driver who is very knowledgeable and easy going. We found the scenery spectacular and the villages charming.
We would highly recommended the apartment and Donal as a guide and thoughtful landlord.
Thank you Donal for giving us lots of great memories of Provence."

"We rented the house for the month of June. We had terrific stay. Sylvie was the best host we have had and we have rented more than 10 different houses. She was a text message away to help us with every question, finding a doctor and give restaurant reservations. The house was immaculate, well equipped kitchen even for gourmet cooking, and had very comfortable beds. The pool was delicious during the heat wave and was maintained by them every few days. We ate all our meals on the veranda. We loved the houses privacy yet easy access to highways. Our only surprise was the lovely master bathroom did not have a toilet. Although we managed fine with the one upstairs WC. WE MISS THE TERRIFIC BAKERY IN TOWN!"

"We stayed here in October. I chose it because I wanted a decent studio in the centre with parking. The location is great, very clean, very quiet, beds very comfortables. Armand was very helpful and friendly. This charming studio is in a wonderful location."

"This sweet apartment was everything we hoped it would be. All the pictures and descriptions in the other reviews are right on! The apartment is perfectly situated in Aix. It is on a busy and scenic square, right in the heart of things. We practically fell out of our door into the wonderful Aix markets.
There was no trouble with the noise of the cafés right outside....at night we just closed the windows and it was perfect for sleeping. Didn't even need to close the shutters.
There are several convenient parking options nearby...one parking garage is in fact right under the apartment itself...however that garage is small (~26 spots), so we opted instead for Parc Pasteur (~600 spots), which was a very pleasant 10-minute walk away. (with both Parc Cardeur which is right under the apartment, and Parc Pasteur, you can check the number of remaining spaces online, which is very handy! Google these names to find the pages that show the status). These lots were about 15 Euros for a 24-hour period, which we considered worth it for the convenience...but there are even cheaper lots (about 3 Euros) that are about a 20-minute walk away. Anyhow, lots of parking options, even though the apartment is right in the historic center!
The kitchen has everything you need to cook at home! My husband is a chef and he enjoyed preparing meals at home several nights. The apartment overall is somewhat small, but then again so is most of everything in Europe. That said, it really is quite big enough. We were two people and we always felt relaxed and never cramped. I think the high ceilings and giant windows help, and also just the thoughtful way everything is arranged. It is well-designed and well-outfitted for comfortable living.
We were a bit concerned about the bedroom being in the back of the apartment, without a window to the outside...would there be enough fresh air? Well, it was really quite nice, I must say. We stayed in the apartment in the middle of June (for 9 nights), and it was quite hot outside during our stay, and the bedroom was always comfortably cool with a nice movement of air. The fact that there is air conditioning and a couple of fans helped a lot. I'll also add that the bed and the pillows were super comfy!
Can't say enough good things about Helene, the owner. She was so kind, personable, and was more than willing to spend time with us showing us information and making helpful suggestions and recommendations. Just a lovely person."
