"Beautiful villa! Seven of us spent a glorious week in this truly remarkable villa. The grounds are amazing with a beautiful pool, outdoor seating (where we spent our evenings eating and drinking French wine!) and lavender fields. Step inside and you’re transcended to a perfect balance of an authentic French villa tastefully updated to provide modern day comforts (top notch appliances and plumbing). The villa is incredibly spacious with a large, well-equipped, modern kitchen and seating area, a beautiful winding stone stairway, spacious bedrooms, a cozy sitting area and large, beautiful windows that provide wonderful light and great views of the property. The pictures truly don’t do this villa justice and it exceeded all of our expectations. Houria, the housekeeper, was gracious and hospitable and stopped by everyday to do light cleaning.
We used this location as our base and traveled to many towns, all within an 1-1.5 hour drive, including St. Remy, Cassis, Avignon, Aix, Bonnieux, LaCoste, Pont du Gard and Lourmarin. Pelissanne is a short 10 minute drive with a grocery and local restaurants.
The owner was very responsive and provided a very helpful package of information about the surrounding areas, including local markets and restaurants. This villa will not disappoint and all of us highly recommend a stay."

"We had a wonderful time at La Calisanne. Very pleasant owners to deal with and where any questions you may have from the time of booking to and during your stay are taken care of promptly. They have thought of literally everything and there was not one thing we would have missed or wished to be different. A special note also to the absolutely fully equipped kitchen, something we have never experienced throughout our many rentals and which is appreciable for someone preferring to cook a good lunch or diner. We found everything to be perfect for the house, ammenities and surroundings!
The house is located in a wonderful area, very quiet though close to the village. You won't miss any comfort here as everything has been arranged and thought of with great care. Well designed, bright and sunny interior with a lovely garden (plenty of lights at night if you wish so) and a superb pool which has an absolutely fantastic view. A great place to wind down, relax and enjoy the tranquility.
If you like to visit like we do, you have plenty of charming villages nearby within a short driving distance, the sea being less than an hour away and on your visits, you can enjoy one of the restaurants on your way or take a break and visit one of the many wineyards for wine tasting and to fill up your wine cellar again.
We highly recommend the house and place and will certainly retain it in our favorites for futur "Provence Verte" visits."

A special apartment that will immediately feel like home.
"This impeccably clean and well outfitted apartment felt personal immediately -- probably because the owner uses it as her own home base when in Aix and has decorated it and stocked it as such. Throw open the windows and the french doors, and create a sense of living outdoors while you cook, read, or simply enjoy your company and surroundings. Step outside for the freshest ingredients either from the market that is a minute's walk, or from the finest food purveyors assembled in the winding streets surrounding this ideally-located apartment in the heart of Aix. The owner was easy to communicate with, attentive and very helpful, including suggesting and arranging a driver to meet our train to and from Paris to make our arrival and departure as smooth as possible. Be forewarned, there are many steps to navigate to reach the apartment, the loft-like 2nd bedroom and the rooftop terrace. If you're able-bodied, it will give you a chance to burn off that morning croissant. The lack of a shower for 3 adult women was a challenge, but you can see from my rating, we loved this apartment none the less. We would return in a heartbeat!"
