nicely decorated place and wonderful location !
"I was travelling with my husband and daughter. The apartment was clean and quiet, located in a wonderful locationand close to all amenities and attractions. The apartment was very well equipped and everything was easy to operate. It's walking distance from the bus terminal and the train station with easy access to the marseille airport and tgv station. We shopped at Monoprix and Patisserie Béchard on the famous Cours Mirabeau.
The bedroom was equipped with two comfortable beds and a comfortable sofa, a bathroom with a tub shower and a separate toilet. The linens and towels were very clean. Armand is helpful and friendly. He wants her guest to be comfortable. We had a wonderful stay and we strongly recommend this precious adress !"

"A great place to stay. The view from the house and the terras at the Monte Sainte-Victoire is beautifull and so are the hikes you can make, as an example, from the house to either the magnificant rock next to the house or a bit longer hike to the top of the Sainte-Victoire: both with panoramic views. With Aix next door and the Luberon villages as well as the coatal villages Cassis and Bandol close by there is also more than enough for car day trips. The big and charming kitchen is the place to come together in the house and the terras and great swimming pool outside and in the evening. In the mean time Isabella and Jean-Pierre take immediate and very friendly care if there is something to ask for. We stayed with 4-8 people and there was plenty of space. Highly recommended."

"This sweet apartment was everything we hoped it would be. All the pictures and descriptions in the other reviews are right on! The apartment is perfectly situated in Aix. It is on a busy and scenic square, right in the heart of things. We practically fell out of our door into the wonderful Aix markets.
There was no trouble with the noise of the cafés right outside....at night we just closed the windows and it was perfect for sleeping. Didn't even need to close the shutters.
There are several convenient parking options nearby...one parking garage is in fact right under the apartment itself...however that garage is small (~26 spots), so we opted instead for Parc Pasteur (~600 spots), which was a very pleasant 10-minute walk away. (with both Parc Cardeur which is right under the apartment, and Parc Pasteur, you can check the number of remaining spaces online, which is very handy! Google these names to find the pages that show the status). These lots were about 15 Euros for a 24-hour period, which we considered worth it for the convenience...but there are even cheaper lots (about 3 Euros) that are about a 20-minute walk away. Anyhow, lots of parking options, even though the apartment is right in the historic center!
The kitchen has everything you need to cook at home! My husband is a chef and he enjoyed preparing meals at home several nights. The apartment overall is somewhat small, but then again so is most of everything in Europe. That said, it really is quite big enough. We were two people and we always felt relaxed and never cramped. I think the high ceilings and giant windows help, and also just the thoughtful way everything is arranged. It is well-designed and well-outfitted for comfortable living.
We were a bit concerned about the bedroom being in the back of the apartment, without a window to the outside...would there be enough fresh air? Well, it was really quite nice, I must say. We stayed in the apartment in the middle of June (for 9 nights), and it was quite hot outside during our stay, and the bedroom was always comfortably cool with a nice movement of air. The fact that there is air conditioning and a couple of fans helped a lot. I'll also add that the bed and the pillows were super comfy!
Can't say enough good things about Helene, the owner. She was so kind, personable, and was more than willing to spend time with us showing us information and making helpful suggestions and recommendations. Just a lovely person."

"We a family of 4 stayed in Donal's apartment for 5 nights. We also took two tours with Donal in Provence. Everything about the apartment and the tours is just perfect. We all were extremely happy, and our kids (6 and 9) didn't want to leave at the end. Donal genuinely enjoyed meeting people and sharing his passion for travel. We didn't feel we were his customers, but his old friends. This has been one of the best trips we have ever taken. Thank you Donal for such a wonderful experience!"
