  • Perfect

"This place was perfect for our 5-night stay in Aix. Although it is in an old building, it is very clean, modern, and comfortable, and exactly like the photos show. The location is ideal, as you are only a few minutes away from the historic town center and can easily walk to the restaurants and shops. The owner lives right upstairs, and is very helpful and nice. You do not even have to bring a guide book, as he has all the latest ones in the apartment for you to borrow, as well as a map of the neighborhood. There are several small grocery stores near the apartment, if you want to get snacks or foods for breakfast, and one of them is an organic store, sort of like a mini Whole Foods. There were 3 of us staying in the apartment, and it was a far better choice than trying to find a triple room at a hotel, or booking 2 separate rooms. Not to mention just having a comfortable place to relax, with room to spread out. It was also convenient to have a washer/dryer in the apartment. Highly recommend!"

  • Great Place Close to Aix-en-Provence

"The setting is on a quiet street and only a 5-10 minute drive to downtown Aix-en-Provence. The Owner could not be nicer and more helpful and if you are uncomfortable with speaking French, this is the perfect place because the owner is originally from the US. The home is airy and comfortable and the kitchen is a great place to prepare the produce you bought on market days in town. Overall a great place to stay, it's separated enough to be quiet, relaxing and serene, yet close enough to Centre Ville to be very convenient."

  • A special apartment that will immediately feel like home.

"This impeccably clean and well outfitted apartment felt personal immediately -- probably because the owner uses it as her own home base when in Aix and has decorated it and stocked it as such. Throw open the windows and the french doors, and create a sense of living outdoors while you cook, read, or simply enjoy your company and surroundings. Step outside for the freshest ingredients either from the market that is a minute's walk, or from the finest food purveyors assembled in the winding streets surrounding this ideally-located apartment in the heart of Aix. The owner was easy to communicate with, attentive and very helpful, including suggesting and arranging a driver to meet our train to and from Paris to make our arrival and departure as smooth as possible. Be forewarned, there are many steps to navigate to reach the apartment, the loft-like 2nd bedroom and the rooftop terrace. If you're able-bodied, it will give you a chance to burn off that morning croissant. The lack of a shower for 3 adult women was a challenge, but you can see from my rating, we loved this apartment none the less. We would return in a heartbeat!"

  • Excellent location; Very comfortable and clean

"We loved our stay here. This apartment is located in the old town so it is very convenient to most of the sight-seeing you will do here. Also, the markets are just a few blocks from here. The owners of the apartment are WONDERFUL. She was so helpful to us upon our arrival and very easy to work with. We were very comfortable in this apartment. It was so nice to have the option of making meals there and having a full fridge for wine, etc. The decor that she chose is very clean and neat. We were so comfortable there and would love to return some day! I highly recommend this apartment and the extremely helpful owners."
